Late to work, stuck behind a train, stepped in a puddle, you get the gist. One way to make my day better is by getting a fresh haircut. Feels sort of like pressing reset on my day. I had never been to the barber lounge but it was near my work and I wanted to give it a try. The first time I tried to go in they were all booked but this time I was able to easily make an appointment with Carlos. I really appreciated his professionalism. Never met him before but he made me feel as if I had been coming to that shop for years. Customer service is something I greatly value and Carlos had some of the best I had ever seen. He actually took his time and didn't rush through my haircut just so he could get someone else in his chair. Of course customer service is only worth it when the skill and quality of the cut are on par with it. Without a doubt this barbershop has both. Also great is that your first time haircut I think is discounted and they accept card! Anyone who frequents barbershops knows how annoying it can be to have to pull out cash before every trip. Keep up the good work guys!

BINGO! The barber…read moreI've been going to retired and finding a good one nowadays is akin to locating a needle in a haystack. I had an important appointment coming up and I needed a clean, neat, nicely done trim. My brother had mentioned this place in the past, but never elaborated much other than it's an "old school" barber shop. Unfortunately, I've discovered that finding an "old school" barber shop is no guarantee that the haircut will be good. But I needed a good haircut and decided to take a chance. I told them exactly what I wanted and why. As he's cutting away, I'm a little worried that he's taking off too much - feels like it, but I can't really see what he's doing. "Have faith"... I thought. Well - haircut is finished and it's time for the mirror. PERFECT. Down to each follicle. Some haircuts take a day or so to shake out - not this one. Left the place the way I liked it and after washing my hair the next morning - same thing. Rarely have I left any store or shop with as high a level of satisfaction.

The vibe is chill & lowkey; I am grateful they do not blast music because it's a sensory issue for me & I can get overstimulated, therefore making for an uncomfortable experience. I look forward to my next haircut.

Now, I have been taking my son ( who is 4 yrs. old) to Frank's barber shop for over 6 months. We left another shop because the barber would stop and talk and stop and talk causing us to have to be there longer than necessary. And my son would always come out with cuts on his head from being lined up. From the first time we went to Frank's it was a pleasant experience. We went to the first chair open which was Joshua in the 3rd chair. He was very patient with my son and got us in and out. He also took care to understand how I wanted his hair to look. I'm never disappointed. Now he's also cutting my hair and I get so many compliments from both men and women. I usually go on a Tuesday or Wednesday because there is less of a crowd. But Joshua is good about setting a time for me to come if I end up waiting until the weekend to include on Sundays. I haven't been to any of the other barbers but they all seem to do a good job and are all very respectful and professional. The atmosphere of the shop is perfect for me as a woman. There's no offensive language or music in there. It's just an overall great experience. This is your spot if you're looking around for the perfect shop.
