I have just bought a 1997 BMW 528i from an elderly lady. She was a one owner, garage kept it has all the maintenance records and repair records on the car and for a 27 year old BMW it only has 108,000 miles on it and it is in absolutely amazing shape, it looks new, the interior is in incredibly good shape showing no wear. Anyway, I checked google for a BMW mechanic, there is an issue with the smog check that needs to be corrected. I found Beemer Club through a google search and thought I would give them a try. I spoke to Evan and told him what was going on, he has been extremely helpful with my BMW, He has been helping me trace down what is causing the smog issue on the car,. I explained to him that I am on a small fixed income and cant afford much. So far I have been extremely impressed with the Beemer Club, (Evan) he knows what he is doing and will go out of his way to work with you. Its is rare to meet a mechanic that I feel like I can trust right off the bat, In my experience it always seems that mechanics are always looking to make that extra buck and trust isn't a quality that most have, especially from the first meeting. I will defiantly continue taking my beautiful BMW to Beemer Club to keep it in the near showroom condition that it is in. I would give Evan more stars if I could. Beth is an incredible teacher - patient, extremely knowledgeable and takes her time with each student to help them feel comfortable and confident around horses. My son was a bit apprehensive when we got there, but by the time his first lesson was over he was completely relaxed and calm next to his horse. I really liked how the first thing she teaches is grooming and getting the horse saddled and ready to ride, it gave him time to get to know his horse before he was able to ride. Beth has been so wonderful from the start. We had my daughter's 5th birthday here and I couldn't believe how affordable it was for what the kids got to do. They all helped brush and prep the horses, feed them, ride them, and clean them! It was wonderful. She's really great with the kids. Because of our experience there with the party, we decided to hire her for private lessons for my daughter. Beth's price is unbeatable! We are doing a private lesson once a week and it comes out to $33.75 for a 90 minute lesson. Amazing! The student will help prep the horse, they'll ride the horse, and then clean up after. It's a great way for the kids to get used to them and understand the whole process, as well as a respect for the animals. I can't say enough about how much I love this place. I took my wife to The Riding School for our 10th Anniversary. We'd had no experience with horses before so we were slightly nervous going in. Beth was professional, patient and very down to earth. A fantastic teacher who made it all so easy for us. We got the whole experience together, from grooming to saddling to leading and mounting. Heck, we even got to give the horses a bath afterward! I was riding Bert, an 18 year old who just might have been the sweetest animal I've ever had the pleasure of being in close contact with, outside of dogs and cats. Even so, I had no idea horses could be so gentle and calm. And what a great personality! It's amazing that such a powerful creature can be so gentle. My wife was riding Skittles. A 30 year old who, admittedly was a bit stubborn here and there, but he was just as gentle, probably more so than Bert. It was a hot day and the flies were out in force so I imagine he wasn't too enthusiastic about that. Beth provided all of the equipment needed, except for the boots we wore, which she recommended a great place for cheap boots and it worked out just as she said it would. She also had a couple helpers that day to help speed up the lesson. A few things we learned: horses are awesome, bring sunscreen and a cold beverage and be prepared to be sore! Horrible experience. Beth hosted my daughters party with 10, 9 year old girls. Beth offered feeding, grooming, and riding keeping all the girls busy in rotation. What we got was nothing like she explained. She took 1.5 hours of the 3 hour party checking paper work for each rider. Literally all the kids stood around for 90 minutes just waiting and getting yelled at for running as they had nothing else to do. It's a party kids don't want to spend half of it staring at a lady reading paperwork. She had very young age girls working for her, definitely not of legal working age. She is very rude to the kids when they get excited about riding and yells more than she does ask nicely. All the parents complained of the lengthy paperwork check in and lack of other adult helpers. One young helper told my daughters group to walk behind the horses with a hand on them so they won't kick???!!! Really I had to step in and say no go in front not behind the horse at all times please, Beth the only adult was too busy checking paperwork. My wife offer to pay her cash at the end of the event, she didn't take the money because she didn't know the price. Really we offered to pay you and you didn't accept payment, stop hounding me about it. Your services didn't add up to the cost and quite frankly you got more than you deserve for the horrible experience. She doesn't do parties don't listen to her, she will sell you on something she definitely won't be providing. I am sure we will end up in small claims court, where I also expose her child employment with no work permit. So she will enjoy a nice visit from the labor board and a hefty 10k fine per young lady working that day. See you in court Beth! read more

I was visiting my sister in San Diego, and wanted to get a "refresher" flatwork riding lesson. Beth was very gracious in agreeing to fitting me into her schedule with two days notice. She asked very pertinent questions to determine my abilities, and provided wonderful instruction. She provided me with a dressage saddle and a horse schooled in dressage, per my request. I learned a lot about my riding style and my strengths and weaknesses. I watched her work with beginner riders untacking, as well as observing how she treated her employees. She treated all of them, and me, and the horses, with respect and kindness. Her staff is professional and friendly, as well. The horses seem happy and their open-air, covered stalls were clean and sturdy. I would recommend her to beginner and advanced riders, children and adults. Beth is amazing with kids and horses. My daughter is only 3 so a lot of places are hesitant to take her on rides, but Beth is very patient and knows how to get through to her. My daughter and little sister both love to ride here. I like it because they learn responsibility as well; they have to groom the horse before and after the rides. It's nice to have somewhere so close to home where we can ride on a weekly basis. Beth is good at responding to phone calls quickly too, which is always appreciated. read more

I also wanted to add that Beth is AMAZING with older horses. She started working at the track at 15 and ended up being a top groom (traveling Internationally, etc.) before starting her business as an equine agent. She has a great eye and access to some nice horses through her racing connections, but I really think her natural talents are in keeping horses sound and happy. If you are having difficulty with your older horse either in nutrition or soundness, it is worth it to board at her place for her access to the right vet for YOUR problem and her +20 years of experience fixing 'problems'. read more

This place is a hidden, secret gem and I think there aren't more reviews because it feels like a family and no one wants to ruin that sense of true caring for horses and learning. Beth is an amazing, patient, kind, sometimes stern, but never mean instructor. She is fantastic with little and big kids and really knows each of them and what they need to succeed. She is extremely mindful of safety first and truly teaches you all about horses. This is not a place where the horse is saddled and groomed and all you do is come ride for 30 minutes and head home. This is a full horsemanship experience with each lesson lasting 2-3 hours with most of it spent preparing the horse and equipment and then cleaning up and caring for the horse again after the 20 minutes or so of riding. You will actually learn to ride here, unlike the in and out lessons at other places. She's offering camps this summer and if there are any spaces I highly recommend. read more

I've been riding here for 6 years and it is one of the best places to learn how to ride a horse. The atmosphere is incredibly down to earth and casual. You don't have to show if you don't want to. All of the people are fantastic and great to work with. The horses are patient and wonderful teachers. There is a horse or pony for every type of person. Beth is a wonderful trainer and instructor. She will work with you and your horse no matter what your level of riding experience. I recommend riding here to everyone I meet that says they want to learn. So, if you are interested in learning to ride I definitely think you should call and schedule a lesson. read more
