Alright so I am a senior Coug, so keep in mind I'm not an overly enthusiastic freshman with rose…read morecolored glasses. I give my personal experience a 5/5 because of the love I have for the University and what I've gained from my time as a student so far. But this review does include criticisms and acknowledgements of what I think highschool seniors thinking about WSU should evaluate for themselves. Here's my run-down of WSU: (4/5)Dorms: DO YOUR RESEARCH! Some dorms (Rogers, Streit-Perham and Stephenson) are all freshman dorms and will likely be a toss up: either the best or worst depending on your personality. They are cheaper and have a more fun atmosphere, but theft and mischief are real.Honestly, I recommend the male only and female only halls. Medium community and medium quality. The newer halls are great quality, usually poor community. Rich kids, mostly. (3/5)Food: Not bad. Could be better. Find your favorites and just eat them. Fill the gaps with Walmart food. (4.5/5)Facilities: Clean, state of the art, in most places. All of the main building are pretty great! I spend a lot of time studying on campus and have 10+ options of places to go. The Rec (gym is amazing! Make sure to go!) I've always liked mine, but some of the science buildings are older. (4.5/5)Education: Mine was great (I am in the com and bus colleges). Professors are all pretty wonderful, with a few exceptions. But some peoples' educations were just okay. I would go into more detail but I don't know enough about the other colleges at the University. One negative is that 90% of my classes have been lectures of 100 or more people. (5/5)Transportation: ACTUALLY AMAZING. Learn the bus schedule and use it. Sometimes it can be a bit of a longer wait or packed on the bus. But it's easy to get around most of the time. (4/5)WSU Community: pretty great, depending on your personality. It gets wild in a few areas. I do not recommend Greek Row at night for more reserved folks, but you'll always be safe. The Greek system can get pretty annoying and pervasive. You'll see Greek letters everywhere, but you get used to it and you don't need to join a frat or sorority to make friends. But if you hate everything about the Greek system and don't want to be around it, you'll have a hard time. It's not hard to make friends and loads of clubs to join. If you try to find friends, you will usually be able to make them. Everyone is fairly nice. The type of people who you can ask for directions or get random compliments from. Football season can be crazy, so traveling around the stadium is gonna be difficult. It's not for everyone, but 85% of people who go here wanting to like WSU, probably will. (3.5/5)Pullman: A good, solid college town. Cheap, small and friendly. The locals are great and put up with a lot of student bullshit. You do get your four seasons. But I hope you like amazon, because you can't shop a lot in the city, including clothing! It's certainly livable, but not a big city. If you're in a major that requires internships, that's something to keep in mind because you will likely have to move and try to get credits for a big internship.

Thank you for developing the Cosmic Crisp apple my new favorite, hat's off to you geniuses. :0)read more

My place was not suitable for living and nothing has been done about it since 4 months of moving in. Many better places for just a bit more rent in the area. I recommend living anywhere else.

This apartment complex is the definition of a joke. I moved here in August expecting the "brand…read morenew" apartment's that they "built" but on move in day we were put into the old apartments. There are none of the amenities that they say they will have (There has been not one touch on construction since I have lived here). The office is rarely open when they say they are and spend most of their time who knows where. The shower tiles are all destroyed, most of the "flooring" is not actually cut right or it comes up when you step on it with bare feet, the caulking in almost every single room is coming apart or has been very badly done. There have been more problems with this apartment than there has been any good. In December, the internet went out all of a sudden during finals week. We went to the property manager because this was unacceptable as we are students. They told us they were having a "solution" to fix this problem. They lied to us completely about the "owners" sending a check. We have never met the owners but if you're reading this, you need to be doing better. We went on break and got back in January with still no internet. I took it upon myself to call spectrum and see what was going on and they told me that the account hadn't been paid since October of 2021 and was deactivated due to that. There is still no internet to this present day (February 26, 2022). In January, our water heater exploded and we had to ask them to bring fans in to dry out the water. We did not have clean water for over a week and were having to shower other places such as the university recreation center until we demanded that they give us somewhere here to take a shower and have drinkable water. This month (February) our dryer caught on fire. I called the office and even texted the number and all calls were declined and none of my messages made it to them. I ended up calling the emergency number because this was obviously an emergency and the guy was in Missouri and told us we would have to wait. Please save your time and don't live here. This complex has given us nothing but trouble and paying $675 a month is just absolutely ridiculous for what they "provide" to us. Find an apartment that actually cares about their residents and their wellbeing. Find an apartment that doesn't lie or come up with excuses about anything/everything they can just to get out of telling us the truth about what a scam this place. By the way, they deleted my comments off of google so please don't trust them Thank you, Aidan

The manager, Pam, is super nice and gets back to you quickly, and she is very understanding and willing to work with you. The apartments are a little old but well maintained, and they are spacious. Having a bus stop nearby is really convenient for getting to campus quickly, and it's great to have the option of walking to campus if needed (only about 20 minutes, which makes for a great stroll in the morning). I wish I would have known about Wil-Ru sooner so I could have moved here instead of living in the student dorms while in college!

The quality of the units is on the more thrifty side of things, so there will be noise and the occasional repair required, but management is reasonably understanding and quick to address any issues I have brought up. Nancy in particular (the manager) has always taken care of any issues for me, and she's a big part of why I've continued to live in this complex. She is friendly and fair, and I couldn't ask for more out of the manager. I have lived in apartments in Richland, WA and Goleta, CA where I felt like a number on a spreadsheet and a check to cash every month to the renters, but here I feel the complete opposite largely because of Nancy. I'd also like to mention that I have interacted with Cindy (the owner) and Tony (maintenance), and both have been polite and professional. I had a few minor issues after moving into a larger unit (two dead outlets, a jammed front door lock, a broken window latch), and Tony fixed them all the day after I put in a maintenance request and in less than an hour in the unit to boot.

When black mold forced our sudden evacuation, Brodie and Russell selflessly helped move our belongings to a temporary apartment - on a cold, rainy Sunday beyond regular hours! Their dedication warmed our hearts. We didn't know where we were going to spend Xmas, but Brodie and Russell even moved our presents to the temporary housing so our nine month old infant could have a warm and safe first Xmas. They saved the day! Abbea in maintenance meticulously addressed the issue, explaining Pimlico's thorough solution: installing new windows in our bedroom - her transparency reassured us. Amanda and Terri in the front office provided efficient, friendly support throughout. Pimlico Apartments' compassionate response turned a stressful ordeal into a testament of their outstanding character - highly recommend.
