I had a washing machine that was making a clicking sound, but would not start…read more At first he charged me $80 for a diagnostic appointment (fine this is standard procedure). Then, after multiple visits trying on different parts (and not working), I authorized him to replace the circuit board that would cost me $350. He installed the part, and it still didn't work! Miraculously, I was leaning against the door and the washer started, suggesting a "door latch" problem. So although the washer worked, he still charged me for the part (that was clearly unneeded). This is not even the worst bit. After my tenant noted it was not working again, Karl said he'll replace the door latch free of charge - great! My tenant has been waiting 4 weeks since the washer stopped working. It had been over 1.5 weeks of radio silence - I've texted and called numerous times per day. Although Karl was wonderful to START working with, he completely fell off the Earth the minute the problem was not initially resolved. Worse than that, the lack of communication had broken any form of trust, and I'd rather engage a different contractor, or even install it myself, then waste time with Karl.
