Even when she's not in town, I find myself going there for her to get Sonny Angels and Smiskis that are oh so popular these days. The store's entrance has slightly been taken over by blind boxes, but if you step to the other side, there are so many exciting toys all over the place here. The thing is, I can never just browse I always end up buying something. The selection is just insane. Literally anything and everything you can think of, they have. If they don't they will do their best to order it for you. Love shopping place where the people working really want to be there. The folks here have a passion for what they do and it comes across in volumes when they are assisting customers.

The San Antonio Current puts out their annual list of Best of. The Current is the local free…read morepublication that tells about new bar openings, new restaurants, concerts, and even do some hard-hitting journalism. Every year, they publish a glossy-covered thick version of the current, with a long list of categories of establishments around SA. It's a bragging point if your business gets rated the Best Of in San Antonio. People hold on to this special annual edition of the Current until the next one comes out. I do, anyhow. My main beef with the SA Current Best of List is that we San Antonians will go and vote for places like Olive Garden for Best Italian Food. That shouldn't even be an option. What's wrong with this town? Olive Garden?! Please. Winners like that take away from the whole validity of the entire process.
