They did their job but when I first visited a Sweet Peach studio in Atlanta, I knew I had been missing out on an even better experience. I have visited this Virginia Highlands location once before, but actually thought that I was booking at their Vinings location. Oops! Halfway through my drive I realized that I was going to a totally different place, lol. (The team was so nice, they assured me that if I was at the wrong location, they would have worked it out for me) Parking in this neighborhood can feel a little risky as there are 'no parking' signs all over, it's hard to know what to believe. I called ahead just to confirm if I could park on the street without issue during my afternoon visit and was reassured. Spoiler alert: My car was safe in its original spot with no ticket in sight. The vibes at each Sweet Peach are the same, adorable and covered in peaches! Peach rugs, walls in peachy tones, adorable peachy butts, etc etc. Once you walk into a Sweet Peach, you'll never forget how they look lol. Another fun trait of each Sweet Peach? Sex and The City plays on each tv. LOVE. Definitely easy to get through a waxing/sugaring appointment as you see Carrie embarrassing herself once again for Big's attention. The team at this location (and honestly, every locaton) is SO nice. They were patient, incredibly helpful and just sweethearts. Tammy was my wax tech on my last visit and she did an amazing job. Quick, efficient and we had a nice little chat. They really hire some great employees here - from the front desk to the waxers. Truly my favorite waxing studio!

Shortly after my aesthetician retrieved me from the waiting area to start the facial. I had my own room for a facial and they were curtains for dividers; for me it was enough privacy. During my facial she went through every product that was being used and we had light friendly conversation. She examined my skin, I felt gave honest feedback, and customized my facial based on needs. During my facial she did a few extractions which were need it. After the facial she let me know which product she felt were beneficial for my skin versus ones that I should reconsider. I did not feel pressured to buy products but instead encouraged to enhance my skin care regimen. Check out was pretty seamless overall a great location and definitely a great contender for a repeat business.

He listened to my requests regarding pressure, and his therapeutic technique was one of the best I've experienced for targeting my specific problem areas. The room was spacious, and the heated table made it even better. Afterward, I got a waterless mani and pedi with Candy in their private nail suite. She was friendly, thorough, and did an amazing job! The weighted lavender neck pillow was great. However, it's only been 4 days since my mani pedi and I'm already noticing the cuticles lifting and getting caught on things. Some of them are also very uneven and I understand with every nail treatment that's bound to happen but I just thought it would last longer. My facial was nice and I felt my skin was glowy after. But if I hadn't asked questions or said anything during the appointment, I don't think my aesthetician would've said anything. Again, I understand a silent peaceful vibe might have been what they were going for, but it almost felt I was interrupting that by wanting to know what was going on my face. Overall, I would likely come back again, but after dropping over $300 on these two services, it's a little discouraging.

As we went about our day, we called in advance to let them know that we may be running 15 mins late. They were super accommodating on the phone and so we did not rush to the spa. We reserved for 60 mins each and were told that we could have ~45 mins massage - which I thought was reasonable because we were 15 mins late. However, the venue insisted on charging us for the FULL HOUR. I thought it made no sense at all, and we were not told in advance. Worse still, my friend later told me that it took her massage therapist FOREVER to come into the room, so she only received 30 mins of massages and had to pay for the FULL HOUR on her birthday. The front desk staff were super nice to us when we walked in, but became very unfriendly upon checkout. One member was also reluctant on giving us the birthday discount, thought it was clearly stated on their website. I hate to leave a review like this, especially because I enjoyed my massage. But I was really unhappy with the experience at the spa. We did not receive any of the pampering other guests have received (e.g., no tea while waiting etc). I would not recommend it to others.

I had the option to stay in my clothes, but dressing out made me feel like I was really getting a spa day (: the room they use is spacious with lots of products on display which I appreciated. There was also a tv playing a loop of music videos which kept me entertained! Emoni thoroughly reviewed my skin and its needs before proceeding. She seemed very knowledgeable, confident, and bubbly! I was laid down on a bed similar to any spa, and covered under a blanket. She started off with rubbing oil into my skin. This supposedly helps to draw out toxins before applying cleanser. I found this so interesting, she dropped lots of knowledge that I'll definitely have to add to my skincare routine! She followed that with an African black soap cleanser, and then a pumpkin/papaya scrub! Between each product she cleansed my face with a warm towel and consistently massaged it into my skin, which felt amazing! We also had great conversation the whole time!! She also had a steamer above me for hydration, which felt wonderful. Butter bar offers lots of services, but I chose to go with dermaplaning. I was afraid of pain or being cut but none of that happened. I almost couldn't feel it at all, and I immediately noticed that my skin felt smoother. She also recommended a variety of products to me and gave me lots of tips!!! I'll definitely be back

I got undressed and she did not enter for another ten minutes. I got the under arm wax. The wax was burning hot. She then went to do the summer body. That lasted about 30 minutes. No extractions we're done and I have plenty of blackheads I was hoping she'd look at. There was no micro dermabrrasion done. She did the roller, left the room for twenty minutes. I was left exposed with curtains open and people walking in and out. got the first part done of applying the different products and dermaplanning. That last about 30 minutes. She them popped a few pimples, left me laying in a freezing cold room naked with only the towel wrap for 20 minutes, came back only to clean up the room for another ten minutes, wiped it off and told me I was done. Then I stood around for another 15 minutes waiting for a supervisor in the Houston location to correct the purifying for there summer fine body service to their promo code. Lasted longer than the actual service. I then called the Houston location after leaving to speak to a supervisor. He basically blew my issue off then asked what the problem was after telling him what happened. He then responded, I'll call you right back" and I have heard nothing. Very disappointing. The entire service time was awkward. She did not seem interested in even doing it. Normally one would walk through each step and explain what is being put on. Besides the fact that half of what was described and shown on social media was not done, I still had to pay for it. Then asked for a tip and given personal business card as if the service was even enjoyable for either of us! In reaching out on email and Instagram, no one has helped. Absolute waste.
