Cons: Most drivers are seriously underpaid and undervalued. They are not equipped to deal with violent or unruly customers. So, if you ever get harassed or accosted or assaulted, you're kinda on your own. And if you write a detailed report to customer support nowadays, they don't do anything. People vape all the time on the bus and no one does anything so hopefully you don't have respiratory issues. Depending on the driver, sometimes they speed. Depending on the route, sometimes it's dirty. (Have seen roaches before). Good luck.

Matt, the owner was great to work with and clearly laid out the expectations. Day of, the first shuttle, driven by Steve, for our pictures was there early and was very great to work with. He clearly laid out the ground rules and they were easy to follow. I basically handed him off to the photographer in terms of where to be and what to do. There was a gap in time where we were gone walking around downtown GR and our driver got worried about us and called my cell, which I had left in the bus....Suggestion for anyone day of is to bring your phone off the shuttle. I appreciated his concern and willingness to help. At our next stop he reminded me to bring my phone(lol). We got our photos done early so we drove around town just playing music before we got back to our venue. At reception, Matt, the owner stopped by to see how everything was going. I really appreciated that he took the time out of his day with his crew already working with our guests to ensure nothing was missing. Post ceremony we had a shuttle for our guests to the hotels. Another driver, also named Matt, was driving this bus. I forgot to mention we had a second block rate at a different hotel. I brought it up and the Matt's were able to accommodate. Everyone said they got a kick out of these guys. Last ride of the night, Matt ensured me no one was left behind and he had double checked. I really appreciated that he had the consideration of my guests which I did. If I ever need another shuttle, I will definitely use the team at The Magic Shuttle and recommend to any one I know.

That's what they expect you to pay $300+ for. The bars were packed and no reservations were made for our tour group, so some bars had up to an hour wait. At approximately 11:30AM, I received a "txt message" reading - "Sorry, our shuttle bus broke down on the highway. It is not good. The turbo blew. All we can do is refund your deposit. Sorry." No one from the company had the courtesy to call me and personally apologize or offer assistance to find another option for our wine tour transportation, which was an activity we had planned our weekend around --- we had traveled to SW Michigan from out of town to celebrate our friend's wedding engagement. This company may be cheaper than a few other options out there, but please note - if an unforeseen "break-down" occurs, this company will leave you hanging... not what I would want anyone to experience for a wedding/special event of any kind. (Amtrak was sold out until Monday) The bus arrived early and before we could exit the car, he closed the door to the luggage compartment and hurriedly boarded the bus, closing the entry door and driving off. He left behind several passengers, including myself. We tailed him for blocks trying to advise him of his early departure but, he ignored our attempts. Greyhound is defending this bus operator's early departure by stating, he left on time, which is totally false. To add insult to injury, I AM NOT being refunded the $83 one-way trip I purchased, which was extremely overpriced due to the holiday. I am totally dissatisfied and disgusted. I work in transit therefore, I understand that bus operators often leave early, whether purposely or in error. Nonetheless, it is against policy and the driver should be reprimanded. Either way, the passengers should be compensated in some form or fashion for their driver's error and lack of adherence to schedule. It's no wonder they have a terribly low rating. After the way this situation was handled, the only way I would purchase a ticket on Greyhound is if my life depended on it, that's it and that's all!

I arrived at 6:30am, as my bus left at 7:15am. Upon arriving, I found the Greyhound ticket office was closed and would not open until 10:00am. I spoke with security and they said I should speak with the bus driver when he arrived. *Nowhere in my check out process, ticket confirmation or purchase information did it state that I would not be able to get my ticket because the office would be closed. When the bus driver arrived, and I asked what I should do so that I could board the bus - showed my confirmation paperwork, which lists the bus route and departure, as well as my personal and financial information (clearly I had purchased the ticket) - the driver stated that it wasn't his problem and that I should wait until 10am to get my ticket, and then book another trip. He was terribly rude, 0% helpful. The only person who was helpful was the security guard who attempted to contact the ticket gate person and get her to come in early - there were multiple other customers in the same predicament as me and the security guard said this was not the first time people experienced this issue. I will absolutely be calling the office to complain - the hours of the ticket offices should be clearly posted on the ticket information you receive upon booking, and it shouldn't be an option to collect your ticket at the station if the ticket desk will be closed. What's more is that this is clearly an ongoing issue, as there's a sign on the ticket desk that says "7:15am bus departures must have a ticket printed from home"...... would've been nice to know...
