It's not very large, but it is the go-to place for footwear, outer wear and camping essentials you may have forgotten to bring with you. You will be very hard pressed to find a $3 rain poncho anywhere else in this tourist town. They tend to carry current trendy items and one year I brought home a pair of gel slippers that were an interesting combination of odd and useful. It's trendy in terms of retail fads rather than fashion. The clothing items are mostly useful basics that have nothing to do with haute couture, apart from the quintessential pieces like your classic rain boots and slickers and the like. I always stop in to see what's around for the current season and almost always come out with the best bargain of the trip. It's a comforting shopping staple in Tobermory.

Omg obsessed with this store…read more Its in this little town in northern Ontario called blind river, on hwy 17. On the way to Sault ste. Marie or thunder bay, or Vancouver. Haha They are a gift ware store, or as I like to put it 'things you can buy that make your place awesome'. Outside - they have a cute window display, you can tell what you are going to find inside. Decor - country store. It feels nice and friendly when you walk in. Warning, it can be a bit overwhelming. There's a lot of stuff, but its not cluttered and falling off the displays. There's big aisles and you never have to worry about bumping into things or knocking stuff over. Basically you WON'T feel like a bull in a China shop!! Also the shop smells amazing. I want my place to smell like that. Always!!! Staff - everyone is always super nice. Shout out to Shirley! Go when she's working! Goods- all that other stuff doesn't matter unless the goods are good. They are. This things they sell: picture frames, candles, vases, paintings, clocks, purses, jewellery, funny sign, plates, stuff like that. Ok. They have something for everybody, which means you probably won't like everything they have, they have things for babies to grandma's and everything in between. Which is awesome because that means if you forgot a hostess gift or that its grandma's bday you can buy it here. Love the candles. Apparently best sellers!!! Cost- there are a few things that made me think 'how much? It can't be that inexpensive'. But honestly mostly you think of that IKEA commercial where the woman yells 'start the car! Start the car!'
