The disorganization was not entirely her fault. In general, it was not a pleasant experience.

Sure, they were busy, but I wonder how impatient anyone dining in would have been with that wait. We were told 25 minutes on the phone; my wife went 10-15 minutes after that (based on past experience) & still had to wait. Two, the wings I so greatly anticipated were much, much smaller than what I have been used to through the years. Kelsey's has been my go-to for wings as the biggest & best in town. The flavour was as superb as ever, but I wonder if they've gone to a new supplier. I may be open to re-evaluating my wing purchase. Flavours on both our orders were excellent!

When we arrived at 6:00 p.m., the restaurant wasn't very busy. We ordered the Curry Chicken Flatbread, which was an interesting combination and surprisingly tasty. The signature burger was underwhelming and quite small. The trout was tender and flavourful. The service was just okay. Some dishes come with a choice of side, but we weren't told that certain options carried an extra charge until we received the bill. The server even mentioned that she had accidentally undercharged us, so we ended up paying more than we expected. The pricing wasn't clearly explained, which could easily catch travellers off guard.

Ordered the Fry Board, Fish Tacos and the Wiz Caesar. The Fry Board is a huge board filled with different types of Fries. Portion is huge, but not all of them were that well fried. I found myself wishing most of them were hotter and crispier. But the dips they came with were great. The Fish Tacos were very mediocre. The portions of fish were quite small, and the taco itself not that well dressed. The Caesar was nice and spicy if you like that. Seating is cool, they had a few picnic tables on sand actually. And the servers were all friendly but sometimes hard to find.

It was tender, flavorful, juicy. My guest had intimated just how fond he was of prime rib, and he, too, had high praise for the meal. After trying it, it tasted fine, but it was so rubbery and hard to eat - you had to chew on it forever. This fish was obviously extremely overcooked or hadn't been stored properly. My husbands meal was exactly the same. It was all I could do to get that fish into me. We won't be back. A waste of money.

There were a few people making some noise but the place was somewhat subdued. The restaurant really should be called 'The Bare Minimum'. Beer options lacked craft options. The kids Fish and Chips clearly lacked fresh fish and the fries were not only frozen but embarrassing the lowest or second lowest grade of frozen fries. A 'famous' Fish and Chip restaurant should have fresh fries. The wings were overpriced. The hot sauce was Franks. They were over cooked. I could even order a double or a half order on top of what seemed to be a disappointment waiting to happen. The menus were all crinkled and the o unfortunate lack of appetizers was evident. No chocolate milk for the kids. The taste was disappointing at best. If I was the owner, I'd be legitimately concerned about the obvious corners he is cutting. We are to fill our stomachs and not for the love of food. I get it's an attempt at a bar scene as well as Fish and Chip joint. Details and quality matters. I hope the owner puts some genuine love into this place, because it's not gonna last like this.

The waitress brought us water which tasted like lemon water, but the glasses didn't feel very clean, they had a very weird smell. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! We ordered the veggie pizza with ham (a must-have, their pizzas are the bomb), the coconut shrimps with the sweet and sour sauce (incredible) and the onion rings. Everything was amazing, it came hot and the ingredients felt fresh. The service was quick, we waited around 20 minutes to get our food, but the place was PACKED as well as them having clients waiting for take-out. The bathrooms weren't very clean and smelled weird. All and all, this place has incredible food and gives you a beautiful view of Sauble Beach!
