My search (nearby my office) led me to AALI. I had seen this place a few times before but never bothered to check them out. I quickly called them to make an appointment and they took me the same day. Luckily, they are willing to work their hours around their patients so they were able to see me at 5:30. I printed out the forms online and met with Jodie. She was very kind and funny and thoroughly went through my medical background with me. She made sure she understood why I was there and what I needed to be treated for. She's very gentle with her application of the needles (then again acupuncture never actually hurts). She explained what the different points do and let me lay with a bunch of needles hanging out my back, arms, and legs for 20 minutes. I felt fantastic after. Their prices are very fair and they offer a set of 3 sessions for $150. I will definitely be back.

It was effecting every aspect of my life, including my career and relationships. Frequent trips to the neurologists and trying to find medications that would help through trial and error was not helping. One day my father called me and said he had read about and met an acupuncturist that could help me. Never in a million years could I see myself trying this or knew that this was an option for migraines. Meeting Meghan and her team at North Nassau Acupuncture pretty much saved my life. After meeting with Meghan and customizing herbs and acupuncture points to help me, I feel like I have finally gotten my life back. About 2 weeks ago, I woke in the middle of the night with an explosive headache, ear and facial pressure like I never experienced. The CAT Scan, Brain MRI and brain studies came back negative. The Neurologist gave me a sample of Nurtec to try. He said the drug is costly and to check with my drug plan. I contacted my Medicare Preferred Pharmacy and was told that the medication will cost me $298. I asked for how many days and was told it will cost me $298 per pill. I then decided to contact Dr Lee (as I refer to him). He is an exceptional practitioner and healer. He is superior to all the western medicine providers that I use. He always makes sure that I am comfortable and asks me pointed questions to get to the root of the problem. No other provider has taken the time to hear me and figure out what's wrong. Dr Lee asked if I was having neck pain which I have been having for about a month and then started treating me. I walked out of his office headache free and the pressure that I had in my ears and face were gone. He provided me with exercises to do to help strengthen my neck and I am doing much better now. Dr Lee truly cares about his patients, always accommodating and does everything to resolve the issue. I was first referred to him 10+ years ago for a herniated disc, then treated with him for my asthma, bladder issues, knee pain and joint pain. I have avoided taking a lot of costly medications with side effects. Dr Lee is the BEST!

I was looking for the right words to try and aptly introduce the amazing Dr DeRiggi and am still searching. I love chiropractic care and swear by it. As my mother was having some digestive, knee and extremity issues, I looked for a chiropractor close to her home for alternative and natural healing. Lucky for me, I found DeRiggi Family Chiropractic on Old Country Rd in Plainview. I felt the warmth, the genuine concern from Lauri as she answered the phone and took all the necessary information, called me right back after verifying her insurance coverage and accommodated Mom at the very last minute on a Friday for a new patient first visit which takes longer. Proactive as she asked me to fill out the new patient paperwork prior so as to save time. We got the same contagious warmth, welcome and love as we walked in the door to this immaculate office. We got to meet the wonderful Teresa who was also just so kind, patient and understanding. Meeting Doc DeRiggi was something special: he was sweet, oozing with love, very patient, all about helping the person in front of him, very easygoing and very, very sharp and thorough. He connected with Mom and explained everything in simple terms with her all around well being being paramount- not just immediate relief but long term. Loved it!! Based on Mom's age and specific health issues he adjusted her with a hand held activator vs doing a manual two hand adjustment. Mom left feeling great right after the first visit. She was inspired and motivated to start changing her diet and do her exercises. This is HUGE!! I can't thank Doc DeRiggi, Teresa and Lauri enough. Doc you are a natural healer who is straightforward and gets to the source of the issue, not someone who merely band aids the symptoms and your team is right there with you. Truly grateful! This beautiful, warm and inviting office is open 6 days a week M - Sa and is located on the north side of Old Country Rd between S Oyster Bay Rd and Rt 135. A Blessing! So very grateful!!

While I was waiting, the front desk lady asked me to do something, so I politely asked her to clarify. On top of that, the front desk lady then denied ever telling me to make a phone call to get information, even though she had just asked me to. At that point, I decided I didn't want to deal with the unprofessional energy and said I was going to leave. As I walked out, both the doctor and the front desk lady said "good." I came in already in pain and just wanted care, but what I got was rudeness, lies, and a complete lack of compassion. No patient should ever be treated this way, especially when they are already vulnerable. I will never return here, and I strongly advise others to find a doctor's office that respects and values their patients.
