I wanted to write up this review for Dr. Keith Solomon of Advanced Chiropractic in order to help others, like me, to get the help they need when nothing else has worked for their neck or back pain. I have had neck pain for some time now and have gone to two other Chiropractors, Physical Therapy, Acupuncture, and massage and nothing has helped my situation. I'm 61 years old and worked at a desk behind a computer for 40 years in a rather stressful job! My neck and shoulders almost felt like they were frozen in pain. My neck was cracking every time I turned my head and felt like it was actually getting stuck & locking up too! When my neck locked, the pain would feel like a lightning bolt! It was happening more and more frequently, even with the help I was seeking elsewhere. My cousin, a few years older than I, was having the same issues and ended up getting a fusion which worked for a bit, after a long and painful recovery, but the pain was right back again within a year. I was terrified about the thought of surgery. I was getting desperate and talking about my neck pain more with friends. Finally, a friend who lives in Virginia told me to find a Chiropractor trained in COX method and VAX-D. I had never heard of it so I looked into it and found that Dr. Solomon is the ONLY Chiropractor on Long Island with these special tables and expertise so I began my visits there ASAP. Both Dr. Solomon and Denise, the Office Manager, are so kind and patient! Dr. Solomon spent plenty of time with me at our first visit answering my questions after he thoroughly explained his process and how he could help me. My appointments with him are working! It took some time but it has been a MIRACLE of a difference! I have way better range of motion in my neck, no more pain 24/7, no cracking, no more locking up. I feel like I have my life back. I still visit Dr. Solomon every two weeks or so for a good neck stretch on the VAX-D table!! If I could give one piece of advice to anyone with back pain or severe sciatica - "make an appt with Dr. Solomon A.S.A.P.! " His treatment plan including Vax-D traction saved me from going under the knife. I went from debilitating pain associated with damaged discs and spinal stenosis to virtually pain-free within a few months. I have been a patient of Dr. Solomon's since 2009 due to suffering severe neck pain. The chiropracter I used previously did not have disk decompression available so after 10 sessions of no relief I researched and discovered Advanced Chiropractic offerred disk decompression so I made an appointment and after the first visit I immediately felt almost 100% better and still go to Advanced Chiropractic for treatment to this day for maintenance. I had the good fortune of discovering Dr. Keith Solomon of Advanced Chiropractic. I found him to be a special, caring doctor. When I arrived I was treated very graciously right from the beginning. His staff was welcoming and friendly. I found his office to have very warm and nurturing energy. Being tall I've had my share of all types of back pain and seen my fair share of Chiropractors. Dr. Solomons knowledge and technique for my lumbar spine is exactly what I needed. After suffering a catastrophic injury at work and having back surgery Dr. Solomon got me back to where I needed to be. After my surgery I was having lots of muscle issues which he was able to rectify. I see him a few times a month for maintenance and 1.5 years after surgery Im back to my regular routine. read more

I was having trouble with my left leg due to sciatic pain. My daughter is a patient of Dr. Solomon's and he introduced me to a new technique of therapy. I went for 3 visits before I was to return home (California). The experience with this therapy was awesome. Dr. Solomon also asked if I went for a MRI to which I answered no. I heard about dr. Solomon from a friend who was in lot of pain who he got out of pain. I had a severe disc herniation and I came all the way from queens to see dr. Solomon. I had been to other chiropractors, physical therapists orthopedist, got epidural shots, radio frequency ablation without any help. He very educated on discs and knows his stuff. Within a few visits I was feeling almost a 100 percent. He treated me much different than anyone had done before. His way of treating worked.
