OK...finally went to Yankee Trace to play a round yesterday. It is a huge facility with a great…read morepractice facility and three 9 hole courses. The carts have GPS, and a COOLER which is always nice when it's hot/humid as hell like yesterday. Afternoon rate was $42 with a cart. You can't beat that folks. They have nice restrooms and cold water and free ICE half way through each 9. A lot of people golfing here don't fix any of their divots in the fairways or on the greens. That isn't Yankee Trace's fault. Overall great pace and fairways, bunkers and greens were in great shape. This is a solid course and now I want to come back and play the other 9 I didn't play. Solid course!

Always super fantastic service from the ladies inside the bar cafeteria area, even when we're sitting outdoors on the patio, which is away from their main service area and obviously outside We always have a group of at least about 10 of us sometimes up to 1314 guys and lots of different orders. I didn't detect any level of rudeness or dismissive arrogance whatsoever. So obviously that has changed from the previous reviews so good on Jamaica Run! Now the course...I haven't played here since the late 90's, then the course was immaculate! Today not so much. There was weeds growing in the fairways, ant mounds on the greens, tee boxes were atrocious, weed filled sand traps with no sand, overgrowth everywhere, and general disrepair. Obviously the course has matured since I've played last and they could've really played in that beauty but apparently either due to money issues, poor course superintendent (listed as Dave Hall on the score card). By the time I completed my round in a Monday morning the parking lot was quite full so I wonder where the money is going? The management may want to take a trip to the mound golf course in Miamisburg for a clinic on course management lol! For now I'll watch and wait for a better course to come back the way it was. For now it's quite an embarrassment compared to past glory.
