I didn't detect any level of rudeness or dismissive arrogance whatsoever. So obviously that has changed from the previous reviews so good on Jamaica Run! Now the course...I haven't played here since the late 90's, then the course was immaculate! Today not so much. There was weeds growing in the fairways, ant mounds on the greens, tee boxes were atrocious, weed filled sand traps with no sand, overgrowth everywhere, and general disrepair. Obviously the course has matured since I've played last and they could've really played in that beauty but apparently either due to money issues, poor course superintendent (listed as Dave Hall on the score card). By the time I completed my round in a Monday morning the parking lot was quite full so I wonder where the money is going? The management may want to take a trip to the mound golf course in Miamisburg for a clinic on course management lol! For now I'll watch and wait for a better course to come back the way it was. For now it's quite an embarrassment compared to past glory.

I think the value, with a military discount, is really good. I agree with other reviews that both courses can be challenging for different reasons and that as a public course there will always be a range of standards on display. That said, as a single, every two or three-ball or other singleton I have ever been paired with by the starter have been great company and very welcoming. There has been a massive amount of groundwork done over the winter and some of that is still to grow out, with a number of new tee boxes still under construction. In nesting season, you need to keep an eye out for the hawks that can be very territorial around the 8th holes. My favourite hole though is the 18th from the top of the hill, great view and a memorable way to end any round.

The course is absolutely beautiful and well laid out. When it's fall and the trees are changing color it's a beautiful site. The biggest thing though is the people. Everyone I spoke to or dealt with could not have been nicer and more professional. They and the course truly make Moraine a top notch golf experience. It's easy to see why they are ranked in the top 70 in the United States by Golf Magazine.

It was done very nicely prior to our meal and was constantly refilled. Our plated meals were all served together and they were absolutely delicious. I was blown away by the quality and the temperature of the entrees. Other guests commented as well. I opted for the chicken piccata and it did not disappoint. Fresh vegetables and perfectly seasoned chicken on a bed of rice. The other dish was salmon and it also was delicious to according to other diners. I always appreciate the ability to serve large groups a warm meal that looks plated nicely. I would love to come back and experience an evening meal and explore the other rooms.
