She acted as our wedding planner the day of and made sure everything ran smoothly. The space itself is gorgeous! We had just over 100 guests and it was the perfect intimate setting that we were looking for. We used the mill for the ceremony and the reception was held right next door in the carriage house. They had a bar area that was easily accessible and a lovely courtyard area for our guests to hang out in during the cocktail hour. Since the mill is in a neighborhood, they had valet on staff and all of our guest commented on how smoothly it all went. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about the Shuey Mill and would recommend to any bride and groom who is looking for a picture perfect and stress free wedding venue!!

Beautiful location that's accessible via country winding roads, out of the way.

I got from the little small restaurant in the basement. If that's the best breakfast sandwich you can sell for I think around six or seven dollars you should just not sell anything. An egg McMuffin from McDonald's would've far exceeded what I received for 1/2 the price. Looking forward to playing it again now that I'm familiar with the layout

Emily was our day of coordinator and we also opted for the set up and tear down option. This was well worth it and saved so much stress. Emily did an amazing job meeting with us over several months to plan, build a timeline, floor plan, etc. she helped me with any questions and truly became a friend during this experience. I could not have asked for a better venue! It is not only absolutely beautiful, it is also in a great location, has great staff and offers great packages! Everything ended up perfect and we appreciated having their help along the way and being so kind with our circumstances. Thank you Rosewood, management and Emily for being so accommodating and amazing!!! We had the best time and absolutely recommend this venue!

The gentleman behind the counter the morning of 7/29 was extremely courteous and prompt with his service. Went out to get my cart and the starter was just as helpful. I didn't detect any level of rudeness or dismissive arrogance whatsoever. So obviously that has changed from the previous reviews so good on Jamaica Run! Now the course...I haven't played here since the late 90's, then the course was immaculate! Today not so much. There was weeds growing in the fairways, ant mounds on the greens, tee boxes were atrocious, weed filled sand traps with no sand, overgrowth everywhere, and general disrepair. Obviously the course has matured since I've played last and they could've really played in that beauty but apparently either due to money issues, poor course superintendent (listed as Dave Hall on the score card). By the time I completed my round in a Monday morning the parking lot was quite full so I wonder where the money is going? The management may want to take a trip to the mound golf course in Miamisburg for a clinic on course management lol! For now I'll watch and wait for a better course to come back the way it was. For now it's quite an embarrassment compared to past glory.
