We ordered two lattes and three breakfast sandwiches and we're a bit sticker shocked when the total came to $55. The breakfast sandwiches were ok but pretty greasy but the lattes were good. Overall a nice spot but the value for what you get wasn't great.

We sat outside at the deck. It was really nice to sit and watch the people, cars and motorcycles pass by. The sandwiches ar interesting and not oversized or over priced. There is secure WiFi although it seemed to have difficulty reaching the deck. If you walked to Signal Hill you should stop at the Battery Cafe because you'll walk right past it and you deserve it. The Newfoundland sundae with jam and ice cream is worth ordering on a warm day.

Coffee refills come without being asked for and the nice carafe of lemon water is a nice touch. On over to the meal itself. The portions are generous and the ingredients right from the farm fresh. I was very happy with the frittata - the roasted potatoes that came with it were delicious beyond. Normally, you would not have desert with breakfast. Make an exception here - break a small rule in life just once. We had a bake apple cheesecake that was over the moon. Parking can be a challenge, but you should find a spot behind the grey building just across the road or up around the corner on the street.

I did not enjoy my latte. It was much like drinking a cup of hot milk. Maybe they only use 1 shot of espresso for medium lattes. I didn't ask.... and I also didn't finish drinking the latte. The cookie was 6/10. It was a large and very flat cookie. Not sure what the baking trick is to prevent your cookie batter from spreading out to far and neither do they. The cookie consistency was a crispy around the edge with a soft chewy center. I ate the whole thing. Maybe next time I will try their ice cream but for today I have to say there are other local coffee purveyors I will stick with while I'm here.
