The Popcorn Station continues to be a local spot I visit but it's definitely lost the number one space I held for it. It continues to bring a huge variety of flavors from sweet to savory and some spicy. You have a choice of portions, including large popcorn tubs. Saying that, I have been disappointed in my snacks and tossed much of the popcorn during my last few visits. The first issue - the popcorn seems broken up, making it feel like I'm getting the bottom of the barrel rather than a fresher portion. The bigger disappointment was my bag of Chicago mix (cheddar and caramel) seemed different. Instead of two separate flavors in the same bag each piece was caramel but shaken up in cheddar flavor. Not the same result. Service is helpful and quick. The shop is easy to get in and out of for a drive by and full of containers in addition to the popcorn counter. I waited until Dec 24th to do my Christmas shopping and my stepdad is notoriously hard to buy for. After discussing with my mom, I wanted to get him flavored popcorn but the bigger stores were out of popcorn tins. After a quick search, we ended up at The Popcorn Station. They have multiples size tins with some that are refillable for a discount. They also have vegan and gluten free flavors. I ended up getting the caramel popcorn. I will say, for anyone wanting to know, Buffalo wing ranch is SPICIER than jalapeño cheddar. The flavors are spectacular and we will 100% be back to refill our tin as this was our first time at the Popcorn StAll in all, great experience, but I do wish there were more instructions/signage in the store about how to order and what's available. This place is amazing!! I have never seen so many different flavors of popcorn, we have been here twice and picked up more than our share of bags of popcorn. I personally like hot stuff, so I would recommend the Frank's Hot Sauce or the Buffalo Ranch they are both on point and taste Great! They also have sweet stuff , the peanut butter cup, finished the medium bag in two days, blew that diet, my wife is a fan of the dill pickle. That is her go too. If I'm going the latter I head for the buffalo ranch flavor...or for those looking to branch out they have a dill pickle variety! First things first. If there were a customer service award, these folks would win. All high-school-ish age and ready to load you up with as many free samples as you want. They have a ton of different flavors, from dill pickle, to Carolina BBQ, to strawberries and cream, and everywhere in between. You can get it in a bag, or load up with a decorative tin. I got the Kentucky Honey, River City, and Strawberries and Cream. A small bag is right around 4 bucks and can go all the way up to 40 or so. I found them on TikTok and was so excited to try. Unfortunately there was an issue with delivery , did every step they recommended such as starting a claim and checking with my post office. Great stop for those in Louisville looking for a good treat. Took our family here after hearing about the awesome and crazy popcorn this place creates. It is a little pricey especially if you want a sports team tin; which costs extra; but with the assistance of their awesome employees and the free samples I will for sure return to refill mine! So yesterday after getting off work early this happened. I was able to stop by one of my favorite popcorn stores. I went there with the intention of getting kettle corn because i know that its dairy free. Well i decided to ask of they had other nondairy options. Who knew that this was dairy free? Yes i know it says butter popcorn. The butter flavor is really coconut oil and sea salt. Its been 5 years since I had "butter" popcorn. I was so scared to try it. Prior to making the 30 min drive to the store I checked both FB & the website for hours, and both said open until 7. We arrived at a little before 4 o'clock and the door was locked, yet we could see at least 3 staff inside and whom could clearly see us at the door. We returned to the car and called the number thinking that maybe due to the pandemic they are curbside service only, yet no one answered the phone though we could see the staff. During this time 3 other patrons approached the locked door as well. We heard one of the ladies say to her kids that she too had checked the online hours before arriving. There was not a sign posted regarding an early closure, nor any mention of changing hours online. I would recommend calling to verify they are open prior to making the drive there. read more

They are constantly debuting new popcorn flavors that they have no problem sampling out to you if you ask :) this time, I had the new s'mores popcorn. However, the River City corn has to be a classic favorite of mine. It combines both sweet and salty flavors or caramel and white cheddar, which I love! They also make one with regular cheddar, too. They sell tins according to the holiday as well as cold bottled beverages that you can enjoy with your popcorn. You can even draw on the giant chalkboard while you wait or watch through the window as popcorn gets drizzled with chocolate on a conveyer belt. So awesome. This is such a fun little place! Not only do they have every kind of popcorn you could ever want but you can sample them for free before you pick! It's a great place to bring your kids. They have a whole wall for them to draw with chalk on and a train and a near train to play with also. They also do birthday parties which I will be for sure doing for my kiddo this year. If you need ANY gifts at all - visit the Popcorn Station! I recently stopped in to purchase a few tins for some thank you gifts for my office. At first it was a little overwhelming with all the flavors, sizes, and container options. However, the wonderful ladies behind the counter were extrememly helpful! They let us taste any sample we wanted and made a few suggestions on their favorite combinations. I also spied some chocolate covered Oreos in the corner and couldn't leave without a few of those! Overall it is a little more expensive than you could probably find somewhere else, but the quality and customer service is worth the extra few bucks. The popcorn also stays really fresh for a while. Once I decided on some flavors and made him aware, he started bundling them up. A group of three came in and started asking for samples. That's when I realized that samples were an option. I just guessed at what I wanted. Flavor wise-lackluster. Didn't taste totally fresh. Customer service - nil. Options-lots and apparently you can ask for a sample. Super helpful and attentive staff! When I walked in they asked if I had ever been there before. I had not so they explained the sizes and let me know I could try anything on their board that I wanted. I tried 4 and bought 3 bags that day. I tried the dill pickle - didn't buy it but totally wishing I would have because I am now craving it! It was super yummy and I definitely could have eaten a small bag. I tried the Frank's Red Hot popcorn which was exactly that - so good! The lady suggested I try the buffalo ranch so I did and that is the one I ended up getting since I thought I would have help eating that over the plain hot one. I also tried the White chocolate peanut butter which I bought (yum) and the River City corn which was my last bag and is a white chocolate, white chedar mix (I think - if I am getting this correct!).
