I enjoyed the Pineapple Dole Whip (rum infused) and scarfed down the light bites (hummus, shrimp tacos, and poke bowls) in between dipping in and out of the water. Since we didn't meet the minimum, we were able to use the remainder on a bottle of champagne and waters for our hotel. The best part about this pool is the view of the strip via Las Vegas Boulevard. The pool is positioned right across from the Planet Hollywood and has multiple vantage points of the strip due to its tiered layout.

Catlina was friendly and helpful. Lots of high-energy and hip music playing all day long, and a great way to watch live sports. The screens are awesome! The pools are big, but can get crowded on a busy weekend. There are two jacuzzis, which tend to get crowded when its busy. TIP: The lounge chairs and cabanas are not shaded, nor do they offer umbrellas! I suppose they want you to get the higher price private rooms for shade. Unfortunately, I do not recommend their Pina Coladas. I should have known they are the typical high-syrup drink that is already premixed in that spinning concoction. I suggest ordering a drink that is custom from the bar.

Here are some things to know: - You cannot order ahead at the pool itself. For example, I tried going down to the pool to book a cabana for the next day and wast told I had to do it online. There is also a $50 fee for booking online. -Due to COVID-19 there is a limited menu basically looking like something you'd fine on a Delta flight from NV to NY; sandwiches, salads, and chips. Booking a cabana no longer gets you the free fruit plate or sodas, but only water in this COVID time period. -You'll be tipping two people: your waitress and your hostess. Make sure to tip them both or budget for both. - This pool is a rented pool area. You have to have a wrist band to enter. - Due to COVID-19 there are no DJ's/parties. -As you can see from every other review, this pool is no longer topless. The cabana was really nice and basically the main reason I booked it was the ability to have a decent amount of shade to hide from the Vegas heat. My hostess and waitress were great. They definitely hustled the entire day while wearing a mask in that heat! I thought the cabana could have been cleaner. I wondered about the cleaning practices when I found random long curly woman's hair on the couch. The table was a little dirty as well. The biggest bonus to me was the fact that there are no children. It wasn't too loud and really was the perfect day to relax and unwind. I made sure to spend the entire day there, getting my monies worth for this. I would absolutely do this again on a day when the cabanas aren't $1,800. It's worth the experience at least once.

Right when you enter the pool area, someone is normally there asking to see your room key and check your bags. To the right, is the counter where the towels are. Help yourself. It's also where you check in if you have cabana and lounges reservations. Depending on the time as well, the adults pool has the section near the walkway where it'll be shaded majority of the day. Very helpful for people who like the pool but need the shades. Along the front, on the right side there's lounges with umbrellas that can be reserved. It's along the front of the pool. To the left side, same thing but they're sun bed. I think they can accommodate three people. They also have umbrellas. Behind them are the cabanas with television and a whole set up. Great for groups as there's plenty of room. They do have umbrellas scattered throughout the pool area but it's first come first serve. Cocktail hostess do walk around with menus and to take order. Cocktails are pretty pricey but it's a given for a hotel and Vegas. Food, they're mainly your appetizer, sandwiches and salad. Something thats pretty easy to eat on the lounges. The bar area does have a water station where you can help yourself to some. The two pools that are by each other has a little section where you can just lounge, a waddling area that's connected to the pool. Main one right when you walk in tends to just all the family. That does get pretty busy. Hotels pools has its perks for some. I like to come to Vegas and lounge poolside and relax. I can do that at home but it hits differently when your in Vegas. I love that you can do that without the club thumping pool party music. Plus I don't think they host any pool parties. Overall, it's one of my favorite.
