Woke the next morning to beautiful weather so we decided to check out the adult pool on the borgata tower side of the building. You can find the entrance past the MGM sports bet area. Here are a few tips: - head down when the pool opens with your own towels. Choose your chair and tip the attendant for adding an umbrella. Having your personal towels/items (I used a book I was reading) there helps hold your spot without someone else camping out. - they do a bag check, they don't allow outside food/drinks. We had our morning Starbucks drinks and had to drink them in the bar area outside of the pool before we could enter. - the pool is cloudy, I'm sure it has something to do with the amount of people in the pool as well as beverages that spill. We also noticed some guests eating pool side and even scooped some lettuce from the water. - bring an empty insulated cup, they have ice and water coolers for your conscience. - the pool is on the bay side of the building so there were occasional greenhead flys (painful bites). We didn't have any greenhead issues while in the pool, just while lounging.

We continue (might be past tense after this visit as we think it's time to try Borgota if we ever…read morereturn to AC) to stay at the golden nugget mainly because of the location (we don't do the boardwalk) and this pool. This was my first trip back to AC since 2019 and this pool has seen better days. Our 3 days visiting were a mixed bag. The best server at the pool is Brenna, a sweetheart who sincerely loves her job. Otherwise it's loads of young kids (and even one older bartender on Tuesday that was rude and genuinely could give 0 you know what's) "working" (on their phones, huddled in the towel cabana). The best deal is the bucket of beers or hard seltzer, and the pita and vegetarian dip appetizer (our favorite). The ground on Monday morning was sticky and dirty and the water needed to be skimmed. However the strict no children after 2 pm rule was a god send (can we stop bringing children to AC?) and security is on it. This place is torn between no one caring about it and security upholding rules.

The other day I saw 2 police guys came over because someone called the police to report the incidents at the pool due to the discrimination and harassment to one of the special needs kids. I feel terrified of the way how they treated a special needs kid. They were very disrespectful and would never try to arrange any accommodation to the kid's family. They even threatened his family if they tried to take some photos or video as proof. If you have challenging , disabled or special needs kids, please do yourself a big favor by going to different pools, don't ever try to go to this pool. It is not worth your penny. After I saw what happened at the pool, my family and I would never go back there next year because I witnessed how the owner there mistreated their customers. Since they changed their ownership a few years ago, this place is getting worse. The membership fee is ridiculously outrageous and it is NON-REFUNDABLE. Don't bring your kids or your family to this pool because there are so many local outdoor pools which are nicer, cheaper and more friendly. The lifeguards are terrible and they barely do their job. I saw how that kid was struggling in the pool and they said that DON'T RESCUE HIM, DON'T TOUCH HIM, THE LIFEGUARDS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR HIM. How evil those people are to treat a young kid like that!!!! God forbid, what would happen if that kid drowned inside the pool? I would never recommend this pool to any of my friends, relatives because other pools are way better than what they have here.

I would never join this pool under the current management. For the last four years the pool was…read moreopened and ready by Memorial Day. As of June 26th, the pool is not open. Two of owners pushed the third owner out. They have lied to manipulate the situation. There is January 2018 documented report made by a 3rd party company stating that the pool was closed improperly in the fall of 2017. We had a freezing winter. Pool inspection and/or work should have started earlier with this knowledge. Instead being responsible people admit their mistakes, they chose to tell customers a nonsense story about the pool being vandalized. Regardless, I see no offers or discounts because of the shorter season. AND I don't enjoy going to a place where the Galloway Police are being called to often. They are NOT the kind of people I would patron.
