I booked a moms' night out for my friends and I at the Pole Barn. We did the 2 hour aerial silks and pole dancing class. Rochelle was so welcoming and friendly when we got to the studio. She got us situated with all of our stuff, including the pitcher of margaritas I brought, and made sure we were feeling comfortable. We started off with the aerial silks which had us all dying laughing as we learned how to stand, sit, and hang upside down in the silks. Pro tip - definitely stretch before taking this class! I pulled a hamstring and had to stretch it out before proceeding. Then we moved on to the pole dancing which was also hilarious as we tried to dance, spin, and climb the stripper poles. Rochelle was a great teacher the whole time constantly reminding us "No THRUSTING!" on the poles. Rochelle even let us hang out a bit after class and finish our margaritas in the lounge area. The next day we were all comparing our various sore spots and bruises. We definitely worked muscles we didn't know we had! This review is for a private party only, I have not taken any regularly scheduled classes. Four stars for two reasons: 1. They scheduled two parties back to back, with no buffer, so shoes were piled on top of shoes, and we had to wait for one party to exit (past our scheduled start time) in order to start our party. 2. We had to share poles/silks because there were too many people. It would have been nice to know how many poles/silks they had beforehand, or if they could split the group in two so we wouldn't have to wait to take a turn. Check-in/waiver signing was super easy and quick. You have to pay a deposit for 8 people ($37.50 per person) to book your class, everyone above and beyond that number can pay separately at the time of the class. Tips are appreciated, they can be paid in cash or along with the class fee. Pole dancing and aerial skills, the perfect bachelorette party. Even if you don't have any sort of athletic skillz, and are not in shape, the private party is still completely do-able. They are sure to do basics, nothing complicated, that lets people of all fitness levels enjoy at least a little bit of the class. The instructor, Zecky was very patient with my group of rowdy ladies. She made every effort to make sure everyone was being safe while having loads of fun, and corralled everyone in poses for some fun pictures. I was the mother of the Bachelorette on Saturday evenings class on 1/22/22 and I want to say we had the MOST amazing time! 15 people and one instructor to do it all! She (bad with names) was amazing! 10/10 worth doing! Laughed so much, brought our own drinks and can have as much fun as you want to make it!! read more

I was the maid of honor for one of my best friends wedding and all of the wedding party was flying into MN from all over the world. I took a chance on this studio not knowing what it looked like because of their prompt response and great client relations All I can say is, WOW what a night! Rochelle, helped me through one amazing surprise bachelorette party. We were able to bring wine and champagne, spend time learning aerial tricks, barre, and a sexy little routine on the pole. The Pole Barn Studio is a fabulous place for parties and special events, but also for weekly fitness routines. I have been attending classes there for over a year now, and I absolutely love the instructors and classes! All of the women there are so supportive, especially when you're brand new to pole fitness. It's a great work out and you build a lot of strength quickly. They offer pole and silks classes, and strength and cardio options as well. I highly recommend it! read more

The staff here are super friendly and sweet. Awesome place for beginners to start off with the basics. I always look forward to coming here, winding down from a busy day at work, and spending time with my new pole/silks class friends. Great place at a great price. I've tried pole dancing at other studios and really enjoyed this one! The staff are always friendly & smiling. I love the cleanliness and fun décor. There are different classes available for different skill levels and you are never made to feel intimidated or nervous! There is free parking available behind the little grocery store about one block away, which is easy to access. I definitely recommend this studio for anyone who has never tried pole or silks before and have always wanted to do it. read more

Came here a few weeks ago for a private party for my best friend's bachelorette. We all had a great time!!! We got to try both the poles and aerial silks. Our instructor, Ellie, was tons of fun, helpful, and made us feel comfortable. Beware, it is a crazy good workout. We all left with sore muscles and bruises!
