We booked a reservation at a home in Scottsdale, AZ through Vrbo and we have had a horrible experience. The house was dirty and not in good condition. We have been in connect with the company multiple times over the past few days since we arrived and have been highly displeased with the staff in responding to our requests in a timely manner. The hot tub that was listed as an amenity does not work and no one has come to fix the hot tub. The capacity for the house is 16 people but there was not enough dishes, cups, silverware, sheets, towels for 10 people. The requests were not accommodated for after 24 hours. We have tried communicating with Leslie but she has not addressed our needs. The layout of the rooms is very poor as well.

I just stayed at the Eagles Nest by Just Stay and the platinum Rental Experience and this place was DISGUSTING! I normally can handle a lot and put up with a few issues and don't write reviews, but this place was dirty and gross, and not clean at all. Let's start with the bathrooms. The white grout in the tile floors were black, the showers were dirty, the sinks had toothpaste in them from someone else, and the ceiling in the master bath had water damage and mold growing on it. Next the kitchen. The sink had someone else's food in it, the cabinets were broken, and the coffee maker and knife holder had some sort of jelly smeared across it. They also gave us someone else's old, used sponge to clean with rather than a new $0.50 sponge still in the wrapper. Finally, the overall home. The light switches were grimy and dirty, the carpets were stained upstairs in several locations, and the ceiling fans had fuzz on them. The air vents were dusty and dirty, the walls had liquid stains on them, and the house smelled of vomit and garbage. When we arrived to the rental, we were greeted by a mound of trash just sitting outside in the lawn. I even asked for the cleaning fee back, and they refused. Beware, don't stay with this company unless you can put up with staying in filth. I have a 4 month old son and a 2 year old son, and we didn't allow them to play inside or lay on the floor as we were so grossed out.

Dirty carpet

Don't waste your money on a rental with this company. We paid $170 a night for a small studio that was falling apart. Nothing was cleaned like you would expect in a pandemic right now. Stains everywhere on the carpet and couch. The place smelled like cigarettes. No window covers for a dark room and a good night sleep. It lacked personality and good care. Luckily we got our cleaning fee back after I complained but I keep getting emails from them that they want me to leave a nice review in return for a discount on a next stay. But only if I leave a "nice" review. You've been warned.

Very stained and broken loungers

Don't waste your money. The house looks incredible in the pics but it's falling apart. All of the chairs in the backyard are stained and have holes, you can't even sit in them. The nice wicker set that's shown outside, the couch is missing the back and you can't sit in it. We didn't have a working fridge the whole time and had over $600 worth of food go to waste that we were not reimbursed for. We had to use coolers and ice to save the little bit we could. When we called to complain the lady told us we put too much food in the fridge and it was our fault. On top of no fridge, the master bedroom bed was broken and the mattress slanted in the middle so we slept on top of each other the whole vacation. Overall we had fun because of the company but all of the positive reviews here are solicited, they ask you to leave a 5* review in return for giving you one. This company is not professional and Tries to blame you for everything. I only gave it a 1* because I had to.

Dirt like this all over the house.

Don't waste your money renting from this company. The house we rented was dirty and in poor condition. Their customer service was terrible.

If you're going to visit Scottsdale during high season, this is your spot. You'll get a very friendly group of staff ready to assist your needs, a well maintained property and spacious rooms, and the perfect location to be central to the most livable city all without the pricey tag of surrounding hotels. Had a work trip and I wasn't needing anything like the Global Ambassador or Phoenician. I wanted clean rooms, kitchen and work space. We booked a two bedroom in Building D and loved it. I would probably request an upstairs unit next time. It's like a private condo, including my heavy foot neighbor upstairs. Plenty of parking, even had a private patio to soak up the gorgeous weather during our visit. Maid service is available daily if you don't put out your do not disturb card. I did notice I couldn't find an iron to steam out my work outfits but shower steam works too. The other odd thing was the small pillows on the king bed. I would prefer kind size pillows for a more comfortable sleep. We didn't have enough time to use the gym or pool but saw several guests getting their vitamin D. There is also a cute little market on site at the lobby if you need meds, wine, snacks. The Splash Bar has your usual offerings if you don't want to explore the restaurant scene. I love being in the Camelback corridor because it's close to my favorite eateries and just a few lights from Fashion Square and Old Town. Having to travel more to my old stomping ground, a good night sleep is a silent power move.

Other than the…read more"Cave house" in Grenada, the "On The Rocks" house in Phoenix is the coolest house we have ever seen, much less rented. The house is also immaculately maintained. The quality of the finishes and the upkeep are second to none. Holiday Rentals, the Management company is the most professional, most organized and efficient management company we have ever experienced. The house was spotlessly clean and extremely well stocked. We could have lived there for 2 months and never run out of supplies. We also had 10 people and there were enough towels for several weeks, without doing laundry. Our direct contact was Kyle and he was amazing. He spent the good part of the first afternoon showing us the property and how everything functioned. He also called several times just to check-in and make certain we didn't need anything. He was also extremely responsive. Anytime we called to ask a question he was Jonny on the spot. One time I got his voicemail and I did not leave a message, but within minutes he recognized my number and he called me back. I would absolutely seek out Holiday Rentals and I look forward to visiting the "On The Rocks" house again.

I set up a call with Ellie (Owner) to hear what she had to say and learn more about her approach to luxury vacation rental management. It immediately became clear to me that Ellie knows exactly what it takes to not just do well in a competitive market such as Scottsdale...but how to excel and produce extraordinary results. Ellie provided guidance and what it would take to get my home to appear in the top search results, generate the highest possible nightly rates, provide a full service luxury experience to guests, top reviews, and a management team to support the entire operation so that I can be a completely hands off owner. She backed up everything she said producing reports with 24 months of property performance on all of HomeSlice's existing properties. I not only hired HomeSlice to manage my property, I hired Ellie to do the entire interior design and I am SO happy I did. So much that it took her hours of telling us how to use it, that it was too late for a technician to come. It was so hot, we had to be outside. We had 10 people. 1 was pregnant, and 4 more of us were not drinking. She tried to charge $1,000 for a noise complaint that was never made. Which she says that her neighbor took "multiple videos and photos" of our "house party" of girls in the pool with bikinis on! She never sent the actual video that we can listen to. Just a screenshot. But that pretty creepy of the neighbor to take videos of girls in the pool. So maybe don't use the pool if you stay at her house in phoenix. . Besides that, going back to the house being 86 DEGREES and her not caring or being apologetic at all. It was finally fixed 6:30 pm on Saturday, but it probably took until 8pm to cool from 86 degrees to 73. Not once were we rude to her. We could've been under these circumstances. Sorry your ego is fragile and you're unable to take constructive criticism. A woman of your age, I would expect a bit more professionalism and maturity. House is cute tho! Good job decorating! PS. We don't need your money. Your house with no ac just wasn't worth it. But thanks for the feedback. A budget in or hostel would've probably had better service and AC. This isn't "retaliation" for money. Just standing up for my friends and letting everyone know you're a pathological liar when we have every screen shot and video proof of everything.

From the time we arrived there has been nothing but issues. When we first arrived there was a weird smell, the house was dirty. The area behind the trash was covered in food and buffalo sauce, the bathroom vents were covered in dust (I'm allergic to dust), some of the towels had stains, kitchen counters had not been cleaned, the couch looks absolutely raggedy and like it hadn't been cleaned, there is a lazy boy in the bedroom that needs to be thrown away asap, and the pictures online did not match the house. They sent house cleaning back over on Monday. We noticed shortly after they left the toilet in the hallway bathroom was filthy on the sides under the bowl. However, we decided to get in the hottub since housekeeping told me the water was changed and the hot tub was cleaned. There was SO MUCH chlorine in it we started itching and I thought I was going to pass out. I reached out about this and received a generic response with no follow up. This was on Tuesday. On Wednesday we noticed bugs coming in through the drains in the hallway bathroom. We tried to rinse them down the drain and the water wouldn't drain out of the tub. On Friday we were hanging out in the backyard about start tanning then the pool technician just barges in from the gate to the backyard. He was very nice and kept apologizing but the problem is that NO ONE TOLD US HE WAS COMING! What if I was outside alone in my swim suit?! They were preparing the pool for the next guests, while the pool didn't look half as good Then we advised them we were checking out at 11am on Saturday. They shut down the internet after 12am so we couldn't log out of our apps, watch the news for travel updates, etc. This was supposed to be a private romantic vacation for my birthday and it was terrible. The Bella Palazzo ought to be ashamed of themselves for everything we've ensured during this stay. Honorable mentions: The chairs at the kitchen table are taped together with white tape. There is a picture of the property hanging up in the master closet that also doesn't match the property. Can't use the garage because apparently the previous guests took the remote and the property manager didn't seem bothered at all when housekeeping called about it. She was more interested in getting her house cleaned. The patio furniture was stained and it's a covered patio! Also, the pool umbrella doesn't work and is visibly broken It takes a long time for the water to heat up to take a shower.

Then that night the other shower backed up... this time there was raw sewage coming up the other shower and 3 of us ended up having to wash our hair in the sink!!!! then the sink backed up. The smell was horrible! My sister and I ended up pretty sick from being exposed to the raw sewage. That is main the gist, but bottom line after being promised a full refund for such a terrible experience Margie is now going back on her word and telling us she never said that even though we have text messages with proof that they planned to refund us. I would not recommend booking your vacation rental through this company.

I started planning my visit one year in advance for 20+ family members. I tried to be a considerate and patient guest when attempting to communicate with my host, especially since it was so far in advance. I understood she probably was busy handling current affairs. As you read, I included specific time period details to fully appreciate the wait times. Using the VRBO site to contact my host, responses to my questions were either delayed extensively or non-existent. For example, I asked 3 questions over a 6 month period - 2 were the same - without any response. One question I started to ask for information on was a floor plan/layout of the home so we could break out the rooms conveniently for the different families attending (especially those with children). After the 6 month wait for a response, all I received was a one liner that she didn't have a floor plan of the property. Still no response to the other question, which was inquiring about a chef for breakfasts to be prepared (since the VRBO listing indicated that breakfast is available) - now for the 3rd time. I finally received a referral for a chef 9 months after I initially asked. When I was told there was no floor plan, I asked for either a) some kind of hand drawn layout to get a feel, b) my family member that lives nearby the property to be granted the opportunity to do a quick walk-through and get a video or c) that I be allowed to do a quick walk through sometime over a 2 day period I'd be in town. Those questions were asked over a 6 week period before finally receiving a response, which was only to option (c). She offered to have one of her team do a walk-through video for me. Jump ahead to another 5 weeks when I follow up again on the video. This time I included a question about my final payment. Surprisingly, I got a same day response about the payment. Then, I asked again about the video. I was told she would remind her inspector to get the video the next time he was on property. Skip ahead another 5 weeks and I follow up because I'm now within 60 of my trip. No response. I wait 2 more weeks for a response before following up. At that time, I'm told that videos have been taken and she's trying to find out where they are stored from her inspector. No other communication received for another 2 weeks before I follow up yet again - now within 4 weeks of arrival time. I received a response that while the videos had been taken, they were taken on an old phone that is no longer used. She stated that they would be taken again the next day and sent to me. Skip ahead a week with no communication and I follow up. Nothing. Skip ahead another week and I follow up again, now within 2 weeks of arrival. Three days later I received a response that the videos had been emailed to me. For anybody keeping track, that was 6 months of delays to get this one request addressed - including my offers for either me or my family member doing it ourselves. One week before check in, I sent a few other miscellaneous questions. Five days later, after no response received and 2 days before arrival, I followed up. She replied she's been out of the office and will look into my questions and get back to me, which didn't happen. After I checked in, I sent her the answers to my final questions. Some of the negatives included: a) The pool and hot tub lights didn't ever come on - especially after dark. The first night I was told the timer had apparently not worked and it was fixed now. They didn't work on the 2d night or thereafter. I never received a response to my follow up text during the rest of the trip. b) Hot tub never got any warmer than the pool. c) Door handle inside the garage entrance to Casita came off in my hand when we arrived. They did send somebody out to look at it but we had already temporarily fixed it. d) The glass of a light over the gas fed table fireplace was shattered. e) There is a basketball rim set up behind the casita, however it's placed right at the wall that surrounds the property. Any shot missed is likely to go over the wall, forcing you to go outside the property to retrieve it. Along those lines, there were 2 basketballs but they were both flat. f) There were a significant number of tiles, particularly outside, that were cracked. This is somewhat understandable given it's definitely an older property. The home itself is a beautiful property, as you can see from the pictures on line. My family very much enjoyed our stay. The positives included: a) Paper goods requested were taken care of quickly. b) Ample refrigerator, freezer, cookware, glassware and silver. c) Rooms were all spacious, comfortable and beautiful. d) Near to shopping and parks.

We heard gun shots the first night and 2 days later we saw 5 bullet holes in the building not 20ft from my daughters window. The wifi is very spotty and slow and they started construction from 6.30 am through 10.30 pm. I have a 1 and 5 year old and as it was retiling the floor above it was extremely noisy. We sent pictures to both rental company and the owner of the property "Padzu" and we got no response. The rental company recommended that we book an alternative place but because the owner of this unit did not communicate, the rental company keep double rent after the booking was done. Find any other of the wonderful rental companies in the area ( if you need some ideas just message me). Worse stay EVER!

I just came across my file from when I used this company to rent my properties. In my files I have…read moredocumentation that he doctored agreements and actually rented my condos and charged additional (not agreed upon) fees for more than what he told me he accepted. This of course seems to be fraud... but I'm guessing he counted on it being a hassle to file a complaint. Not to mention the aggravation. And, by now I think the statute of limitations may have run out... I'll have to check. My place was gorgeous when he started renting it, brought in many horrible tenants running my place into the ground due to terrible housekeeping and maintenance. And then as time went on used videos and pictures of my place to market with, yet put tenants in units he owned. I don't know if a property manager is legally allowed to do that, but I do know you have to be or have a licensed broker employed to manage properties and he is/does not. The straw was when a widow contacted me that Ryan would not give her money back when she cancelled due to her husband's death. When I approached him about it, I caught him in several lies, but was able to get her money back to her... that's when I discovered the doctored rental agreements. By then he'd run my place into the ground and was barely renting it anymore. I took my place back, did the needed repairs that had been neglected or improperly repaired by his person and had it booked up quickly. There was no reason it should have sat empty so long with property management representation... but he simply did not have my best interest in mind. I was taken advantage of, lied to, aggravated with lack of follow through and ultimately lost money while he made it. I only wish I had made it a priority to file suit for the damage he did... and at the very least to keep him from doing to other rental owners what he did to me. I would not trust him under any scenario; neither to manage nor to rent from. BEWARE.

We rented a property for a family reunion. House was clean and functional. A plumbing issue occurred which caused the drains to not work. Imagine a holiday weekend with a dozen people and no toilets (or drains or water)! Porter was not only unresponsive, taking over 30 minutes to respond to this emergency, they were useless and unwilling to help find a plumber or even respond to Airbnb to enable us to make alternative arrangements. Turns out this property had plumbers on the property before our stay. The plumbers recommended the property not be rented out, but Porter went ahead and rolled the dice with our family. They caused unnecessary grief and were unfazed by a serious issue that was a health emergency. This company has no competence, no respect and no pride. In the end they offered us $90 plus tax for our trouble despite that Marriott Homes and Villas. (who we booked through) recommended compensation of $448.50. We booked through Marriott because we wanted a certain level of customer service. In the end they sided with Porter. Porter's customer service is among the worst I've experienced as a frequent traveler.
