We were surprised that we weren't told in advance about limited/worn out cooking tools. The working hot tub was only large enough for two adults to fit comfortably, and we did not know in advance that the hot tub attached to the pool was not operable. The pool cues were all missing their tips which made it difficult to use the pool table. We ended up buying new ones at Walmart. There were no tea towels. The things that don't reveal themselves on a computer screen still make a difference when you arrive at a property: furniture that didn't match or have any cohesive style, countertops that are painted with latex paint, no comfortable seating options around the fire pit... We would not book again.

They finally moved us to an upgraded property after pest control confirmed the bed bugs. But they said we could just stay and wash all the linens ourselves. Seriously I'm on vacation. Not here to clean up your property. It was truly disgusting and shouldn't be allowed to be used as a VRBO until it is cleaned up. The owners are not kind people. The rental company recommended that we book an alternative place but because the owner of this unit did not communicate, the rental company keep double rent after the booking was done. I am a Marriott Bonvoy member booked our family travel in late 2022 because I trusted the Marriott brand. We rented a house to attend my cousins wedding in Phoenix. I thought it would be nice to have the aunts/uncles and kids in our immediate family together for three nights. Keep in mind, one night would literally be just to sleep and recuperate. It looked NOTHING like the images shown in the listing. The reservation was a disaster from the moment we arrived. The house was a project still in play. Outlets exposed, not working, doors not fully aligned. It appeared like they "did the best they could" to get the house available. Again, it looked NOTHING like the images shown in the listing. The prior cleaning crew did a horrible job. There was feces on the floor in one of the bathrooms, no towels, dirty dishes, etc. Images were immediately sent to customer service. The customer service hotline was horrible. They were unwilling to help; however, did send another cleaning crew after I continued to call and pester them. There was ZERO consideration for my Marriott status (at the time it was high). We spent hours going back and forth and their agents were extremely rude, continuously questioning what, if anything was really wrong and reiterating there were no other options available. I requested a refund of the cleaning fees. I thought that was a reasonable accommodation given the issues we experienced. Also, being unable to use the residence when the second crew came back to "clean it." That outcome was not great either, but we could accept it to make it through our time. I never received a response or call back. In total, I spent over 4 hours on the phone between hold times, explanations and return calls. Four day trip, booking was around $2,000. I'd say there was a negative value. It was not worth the time invested dealing with rude customer service agents, and missing out of quality time with our family. I recently came across the emails from the service provider and decided it was worthwhile to write a review. I'd give them zero stars if I could. TRUST ME - BOOK A HOTEL, VRBO or AirBnB. I have had better service at a Motel 6 and did not pay over $1,000 per night. I wish I had researched this company prior to renting. Had a work trip and I wasn't needing anything like the Global Ambassador or Phoenician. I wanted clean rooms, kitchen and work space. We booked a two bedroom in Building D and loved it. I would probably request an upstairs unit next time. It's like a private condo, including my heavy foot neighbor upstairs. Plenty of parking, even had a private patio to soak up the gorgeous weather during our visit. Maid service is available daily if you don't put out your do not disturb card. I did notice I couldn't find an iron to steam out my work outfits but shower steam works too. The other odd thing was the small pillows on the king bed. I would prefer kind size pillows for a more comfortable sleep. We didn't have enough time to use the gym or pool but saw several guests getting their vitamin D. There is also a cute little market on site at the lobby if you need meds, wine, snacks. The Splash Bar has your usual offerings if you don't want to explore the restaurant scene. I love being in the Camelback corridor because it's close to my favorite eateries and just a few lights from Fashion Square and Old Town. Having to travel more to my old stomping ground, a good night sleep is a silent power move.

Our Platinum Concierge was Sarah Fye. She was amazing in all facets of our trip. Prior to the weekend stay, Sarah reached out frequently to make sure everything was in order. From booking tee times, brokering car services, and taking groceries orders priority to move in, Sarah was always available to help. Which made planning a trip for 16 people a less stressful ordeal. When my first car service cancelled on my 2 weeks before WMO, Sarah help find a new car service, even offering an option of having an employee of Platinum to drive my group if I was unable to find a replacement. Renting properties for a short weekend duration are never without their issues. But I do recommend Platinum Rentals, especially with someone like Sarah.
