From my very first appointment, Dr. Bhanot was warm, attentive, funny, and just a genuinely nice man. I never felt rushed. He always took the time to answer my questions and listen to my concerns. I really did feel like I was his only patient when I was sitting there with him.
Before surgery, he explained everything clearly and answered all of my questions. One of the things that also gave me confidence in choosing him was knowing that his practice is focused specifically on facial plastic surgery. When you are trusting someone with your face, that kind of specialized focus meant a lot to me. He told me the surgery would be a long one because he is a perfectionist, and after seeing the care he took and my results, I completely believe it.
I also really liked the three videos on his website explaining exactly what a deep plane facelift is. I knew I wanted to understand what was actually going to be done, not just hear the words "deep plane facelift." After watching those videos, I felt so much more knowledgeable about the procedure and even more confident that Dr. Bhanot was the surgeon I wanted.
I had an extended deep plane facelift, deep plane neck lift, and upper and lower blepharoplasty, so this was not a small decision for me. Choosing the right surgeon was incredibly important.
My post-op care has been wonderful too. The instructions were clear, the follow-up visits never felt rushed, and any concern I had was taken seriously. I had absolutely no bruising, which still amazes me, and the incisions on my face were done so beautifully that they were barely noticeable even while I was healing.
Carrie, my nurse, has been wonderful. She is so knowledgeable, sweet, patient, and easy to talk to. When you are going through facial surgery and recovery, it means a lot to have someone you feel comfortable asking questions.
Another thing that meant a lot to me was how cared for I felt throughout the entire process. Facial surgery is a huge leap of trust, and I never felt like just another patient being moved through the office. If I had a question or concern during recovery, I felt listened to and taken seriously. That gave me a tremendous amount of confidence, both before surgery and while I was healing.
What I love most about my results is how natural I still look. I still look like me -- just a much more refreshed version of me. Dr. Bhanot managed to erase 20 years from my face without making me look pulled, tight, or like a different person. That was exactly what I wanted, and I could not be happier with how natural my results look.
Having this surgery was a big decision for me, and yes, I was nervous. You are trusting someone with your face, so I did not take choosing a surgeon lightly. I can honestly say I am so glad I chose Dr. Bhanot and his office.
