It was very warm inside, I'm sure the oven doesn't help, but not an issue they shouldn't be able to overcome. Also to be picky, why do restaurants insist on tacky planted half dead plants all around??? Ok, but pickyness over, the food. I had a figgy piggy pizza, delicious!! My husband had a calzone, his criticism was less ricotta, more mozzarella, as well as a side of sauce for dipping. (Which when we asked, they did provide). I really loved their dough!! All in all we will definitely recommend and return.

The eggplant was just a hot mess one pile of just mush, no flavor in the sauce. They might wanna look up the recipe for the chicken riggies. Is it supposed to be in a tomato cream sauce and there were no black olives in the recipe no flavor no sauce the ziti was completely massacred and just mush. They told me it was made fresh but the chicken was grilled pre-cooked out of a bag. it's also supposed to be a spicy dish with hot peppers which were not in there as well. If you're not gonna put heart into your food, just don't serve it. Your pizza is fantastic although I do have to bring it home and have my own roasted red peppers since you don't have them there. And get rid of that chalkboard wall so childish I am including a picture of what the chicken should look like versus what I got. Would definitely go back but only for the Pizza.

This spot came highly recommended by a few locals who swore by the quality of the pizza, so…read moreexpectations were set going in. I've always believed the best way to judge a pizza place is by its basic which means starting with a classic cheese pie. The cheese pizza did not disappoint. The dough was well cooked with minimal sag, striking a nice balance. The sauce-to-cheese ratio was right where it should be. The cheese had a slight stretch to it, and the sauce delivered a solid, flavorful bite that tied everything together. I also tried the chicken bacon ranch pizza. It was flavorful and satisfying, with a generous amount of bacon throughout. While I would have liked to see a bit more chicken, each slice was still a tasty combination of savory toppings and creamy ranch that made for an enjoyable bite. Overall, this place lives up to its local reputation, especially when it comes to the basics. A solid option if you're looking for well-made pizza with reliable flavors. Side note/ I do a lot of chicken wing/ bleu cheese reviews and the employee at the counter said she makes it herself each day. So I had to try it. Well I can say this bleu is a solid 6/10, it's just missing some larger chunks, the flavor profile is spot on but the pieces in it are just crumbles. While it doesn't place in my top tier , it's not far off. Next time I'm going to have to try it with some wings.

The buffalo Wrap came out as a sub at first - they corrected but I felt bad asking them to switch. It didn't have much ranch on it, but overall it tasted good. Fries were really good! We were surprised by how packed the restaurants all were at 11:30 a.m. I would not say that the service at Sal's was good. One of the workers was pretty upset about us bringing Service Dogs inside (which is legal). Another offered water for the dogs, but never actually brought it. Then it took over ten minutes to get the food brought out to the back patio seating. Definitely not a service first vibe, more like "you should be happy that we are serving you."
