It has a rather strange layout consisting of two dining rooms and a relaxing lounge area for drinks before or after your meal. Or you can just have tapas in the lounge area if that floats your boat. The space divisions allows atmosphere and privacy, which makes it ideal for business or family occasions. The chef has already established a reputation for producing great food, and mainly using quality local ingredients. It is not a Cornish menu as such, feeling more like a world menu. It is available for wedding and business functions as well as private diners.

You do get the fancy, rather large plates with what appears to be a small portion of the food delicately arranged in the middle, with dribs and drabs of the relevant sauces around the outside. However, the quality is superb, and the portions are actually rather good. We were quickly seated and served. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Decent choice of wine too. All through the evening they were extremely busy and continually turning people away who hadn't reserved a table. If you want a decent Indian meals whilst in Penzance this comes highly recommended.
