Cruisin the Coast If you are into vehicles - old and new…read more.. well this is definitely where you need to be. Cruisin' the Coast happens once a year. Usually around end of September to early October. You can look, buy or trade, burn rubber or race, converse or cruise. The strip of I-90 Beach Blvd 25 miles up and down. Also, each casino along that route holds its own array of exhibitions, bands, and events. The Edgewater Mall, coliseum and parks as well. There is no end to activities going on this full week long event. Awards are giving in many categories. Hundreds of RV spaces, hotels, condos, food vendors, restaurants, bars and the BEACHES are available for all the thousand of Cruisin' customers. This week 2018 the weather was amazing...sunny skies and 90 degree temps. Last year we left just before the hurricane. So making this an annual event for the entire family is a must.

When I hear him whistling or saying how sexy something is I can almost guarantee you it's not a girl he's looking at..it's a car. Which, by the way, is a good thing because I'd be a tiny bit jealous if he were whistling at another girl. And by tiny bit I mean a whole helluva lot. Anyway, he's the reason I have been to Crusin' the Coast now two years in a row. It's such a fun event. There are beautiful old cars up and down the beach, out of this world people watching and just a really nice way to spend a day or evening. Also? Educational. I now know a lot about cars. And this is coming from the girlest girl. I know what a '74 Nova looks like and why it's so badass. I now know why spinning your tires is a "thing" and what it actually smells like. I now appreciate old cars and restored engines. Don't hesitate to go to this yearly event. You (even you girls) won't regret it.

Great locally owned shop on Gulf Port Lake! We wanted to do something active with the kids and it…read morewas the perfect day for paddle boarding with low wind and lots of clouds. The owner, Dan, was super friendly and informative for first timers! We rented two boards and our girls ages 5 and 7 sat on the front of the boards. We swam and played on the lake for a few hours and enjoyed the serine atmosphere. The kids eventually got brave enough to stand up and paddle too. We would definitely return!

First of all this was kind of a surprise so it's really hard to go wrong with any motorized vehicle…read morethat's going to be operated on water that's as warm as a bathtub in May. We arrived and found where we were supposed to go on the beach real easy. Staff knew we were coming and what we were ready with paperwork and instructions for the jet skis. Once we signed all the necessary paperwork (as the staff members cracked jokes - and in general just had a good time being there) we waded out to the staff member that was going to give us our final instructions and set us off on our way. Large area to play in with the jet skis, probably about 4 football fields wide and 1/2 mile out you were able to explore and have fun. The only rule, don't get near each other (jet skis) because things can get out of hand real quick resulting in an accident. Jet skis were clean and fast, and a ton of fun. If you have kids, one thing to keep in mind, you have to be 18 in order to be a driver. Anyone under 18 rides double behind an adult. Friendly staff and great experience. I would highly recommend these guys if you're looking for a fun gulf adventure.

After spending weeks in the ditch, Gulf Coast Intracoastal Waterway, at anchor and at some…read moreinteresting docks it was great pulling into the Bay St. Louis Municipal Harbor. The facilities appear to all be new. They have electricity, and water for boats. They have boats that stay there and accept transient vessels. They have bathrooms, with showers on site. They sell fuel, diesel and gas, and ice. They just finished their breakwater wall. You pull into the bay off The Gulf, through the railroad swing bridge, then head to port. You'll want to call ahead to get a slip assignment. The docks are also well lit, but not overly bright at night. The town is just up the walkway over the sea wall, and is super cute. We spent a great Easter weekend here and would definitely be back if in the area. The boats were still a bit wobbly, possibly from the wind, so if you can get a full slip where you can tie up on both sides that'd probably be more comfortable.

This is the main live bait spot for the Pass Christian area. Roscoe moves his floating store…read morearound the harbor so you might have to find out where is is currently docked. He offers live shrimp, dead shrimp, croakers etc. Roscoe also carries a selection of some other important fishing gear along with a few snacks and drinks. People often start lining up for bait here around 4am so you have to wake up early to get your bait and he does sell out sometimes so plan accordingly.
