I've been playing for less than 2 years, but in that time have checked out dozens of venues around the greter Denver metro...public outdoor courts, rec-center courts, park-district courts, neighborhood courts and private club courts. I've enjoyed playing at most of them, but decided to join Picklr in Littleton because it's close to me, has great programs, super nice staff who are always helpful & supportive, and amazing deals for seniors like me. I'm able to use my "Renew Active" (think 'Silver Sneakers') program to cover my membership here, which allows me to play 8 times a month at Picklr at zero cost. I play a few more times monthly at no cost at public courts, so that's enough! . Anyway, IMO Pickler has the best courts - hands-down, plus excellent lighting, great bathrooms that include lockers & showers, plus even a weight-trining area, and ball machines you can rent to work on drilling by yourself or with a partner. Everyone I've met there has been very kind and welcoming, even though I'm just a low-intermediate-level player. I highly recommended The Picklr as a great pickleball venue for players of all ages and ratings! read more
