DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP!!!! This is a business run by very crafty owners/employees. I went to this shop to simply get my charging port replaced. My phone was in perfect working condition bar the charging port. The gorilla replaced the port and said it works fine now. I got home and put it on charge and guess what it still didn't charge. I took it back for him to say it must be my cable and said I should buy a new cable. I go to try it again at home and it still does not work. I go back again and ask for him to fix the charging port and a refund on the cable, he did actually fix the port this time but refused to give me a refund on the cable because I couldn't prove I bought it from them (they didn't issue a receipt for it). I now have a phone that is charging but once the phone is on I discover a load more problems. The screen is ruined, the battery life is depleted and I have very poor signal. Now I recently to it to another phone repair place (the is one literally opposite this shop) and they were brilliant. But when they opened my phone they realised that the battery inside was not the original (I've never had my battery replaced). The guy told me that it was very common practise for The Phone Shop to take out the original battery and replace it with a very poor one. This means that when you come to realise that your battery is not working, you will go back to The Phone Shop where they will sell you back your original battery for a high price. I would also like say that when my phone was reopened after The Phone Shop's awful job, the guy told me there was loads of screws missing and there was a piece of paper left in my phone. Moral of the story: go anywhere but The Phone Shop to get your phone fixed, they are cons who know nothing about phones. read more

Similar to what others have found both on here and other review sites, he fixes one thing and another breaks, and best of all there's never an apology or any admission of having wasted your time. Not only that, but he repeatedly gave me back a phone that wasn't working. Joker. My iPhone had stopped charging so I took it in. The guy told me it was a common fault, would cost £25 to fix, and would be ready at closing time. I came back at six, he hasn't tested it but said "I'm sure it's fine, bring it back if there's any problems". Surprise surprise, when I got home the phone still wasn't charging. I took it back the next time I was in Bristol (a few days later) and pointed out that he hadn't fixed it. The guy took it back (no apology), and told me to call back in an hour. When I come back, the phone is at last working and he powers it on to prove. Get home. Switch on phone, now the home button isn't working. Grrrr. I took it back yet again and of course I got no apology for wasting my time, the guy just made a puzzled face and started tinkering with it (as if I wasn't there). After five minutes he said "ok all done, thanks bye". I tested it in front of him and the home button still isn't doing anything. No apology again, he just said "that's strange", followed by another five minutes of pulling at the button with a screwdriver. Finally "ok I think it's done". I tested it myself and finally it was working (though considering what he's done, I'm wondering how long it'll last). Still no apology, he just said "ok thanks bye" and pulls out his own phone and started messing with it. Total joker. Avoid. read more

Avoid this shop!! Brought a iphone4 screen, was told that if I choose to repair it I have no warranty. I get home, fit it (10 years of pc engineering exp) and surprise surprise it's faulty. This is clearly a scam, a quick £30 for them.. Upon ringing them, they point blank refuse to help.. read more

Awful shop, took my Samsung Galaxy S3 in to get repaired and at first I thought they just didn't know how to do it because they gave me the phone back and said they didn't know how. However, when I took it to another shop they told me that the circuit board had been ripped to shreds and there was no way to fix it. The Phone Shop tried to take it apart, accidentally destroyed it and I lost my phone and everything on it. Absolutely horrific service, DO NOT use these guys if you want your phone repaired, pay the extra £15 to have it done elsewhere and just know that the job will be done properly. read more

They got my phone lost in transit. They are not returning my repairs fee also. It has been over 2 months now and still no cooperation. They are disconnecting my calls, not responding on my email and not returning the repairs fee. They are earning their business because of phone brands like Xiaomi and One plus only but when they lose the phone, they tell it is China phone and not worth the repair. On following up for the repairs money, they make false stories, hang up on me and will start screaming. They have no right to keep my repairs fee if they didn't provide the service. In my case after the phone was lost, I got some money because the couriers company was good. Had it been for Tronixcity, I wouldn't have got a single penny. Severe action should be taken against them for playing with emotions of innocent.

As well as being able to use the internet to use Skype they also have phone booths for making international phone calls. In addition, they sell phone cards that make the cost of foreign calls a lot more affordable. This is quite a popular internet café, and is my favourite in this area. This is mainly due to the fact that they serve a decent cup of coffee, (Kenco), and their rates are competitive. They are also always open when I need them. Being a small hub of the community they also permit the use of part of their shop window for the advertising of local businesses. They charge as little as £0.50 for this service.

Poor service! Gave them my iPhone to repair (stuck power button), said should take 3-4days tops, took close to 2weeks. But fair enough they fixed the phone as soon as I got it back it was clear the proximity sensor was now broke (never had an issue previously). So as you'd expect they offered to repair that for free (easy job apparently, should be done within an hr or so). A week and a half later, they admit defeat and cant fix it. So through fixing one issue, they've created another and taken almost a month in total. Shocking service, no updates throughout process, had to call and chase it up several times! Will be informing all my friends to avoid!!! And I'm doing the same to you too, AVOID!!! read more

I had a few issues with my iphone 4s after dropping it on our kitchen floor recently. The phone was completely smashed and was not charging. I took it to the shop to see whether there was a chance to get it repaired. I was greeted by a friendly member of staff and was told my phone could be repaired in an hour or so. I recieved a phone call after 45mins explaining my phone was repaired and ready for collection. My iPhone was returned looking brand new and in full working order. I'm really happy with the service that this shop has provided and would definately recommend them to anyone. read more

The staff at The Phone Shop were absolutely brilliant in fixing a temporary replacement screen to my iPhone after this and the home button had been shattered. Not only did they not charge me but I was allowed to keep it for a week so I could download all my information prior to getting a new phone. Amazing service, highly recommended. Was hesitant to go in there due to the bad reviews from years ago; had fortunately noticed that the more recent ones were a lot better. Had a problem with the charging port on my old iPhone. Was very worried it needed replacing cos it had fallen in the mud. However the shop assistant tried cleaning it, It took her a few minutes but she got it sorted.. Free of charge ! read more

I have use this shop a few times in the last couple of years for repairs and also to buy goods. Found the staff to be very friendly and to very efficient on time keeping.
