Disappointing. This company has an online payment process. Takes minutes for your payment to go through. Cancel and they advise 28 days to refund you. In an electronic age we are in I find it unbelievable that any company can take 28 days to refund you. Even large companies bigger than this lot refund in days. 2 weeks down the line it looks like they will stretch the process out. Won't be using them again. Beware if you cancel the they take 28 working days to process a refund . Nearly 6 weeks ! Another scam to hold onto your money ! Find a more reputable company to book with. I accidentally walked in here today. I was looking for a sweater or bandana to buy for my dog for holiday photos. Not one single employee greeted me or asked me if they could help me. Honestly you would think they don't have employees besides the ones busy in the back grooming pets. The cats and dogs are ABSOLUTELY adorable but it is concerning. The place smelled really bad and there was one dog who looked very ill. I was thankful that I was wearing a face mask because of the smell. Also I later found out they're puppy mill pets. I didn't know those were still legal but apparently they are in Ohio. Ended up spending time looking at the cats and dogs and waiting to speak to an employee but no one ever showed up. Left without buying anything. I guess they only care about customers who are going to buy a pet but they're seriously missing out on potential revenue by helping others out. 2 stars just for how cute the cats and dogs were but that's about it. read more

My two young boys and I stopped in to look at the puppies - we asked to hold one and the owner didn't say a word, got the one we wanted out and handed him to me. She asked if we were interested in buying and I explained that we were just looking and would love to get one someday but not quite yet. the boys were talking about which one i could ask to hold next and she said "I think that's enough for today" and was very rude and stand offish to us. Once we are ready to buy a dog , it will not be from them. Also, it smelled terrible in the store. read more

The owner, Kathy, is extremely rude. I was kneeling down while petting a puppy and apparently I was in her way because she said, "Excuse me," which I then moved out of the way. Then the had the audacity to whisper under her breath, "Why don't you just get the f*** out of the way?" Furthermore, she is quite mean to her staff. On top of all that, we got a puppy there many years ago. She was a yorkie-poo. When we brought her home, she would not eat. We took her to the vet. The vet said her sugar was extremely low and she was very lethargic. A couple says later she fell down the stair, ruptured her spleen, and had to be put down. All the other employees are fantastic, but Kathy should not be allowed to interact with both humans or animals. Mean, disrespectful, and abusive. read more

They told me that she was fully vaccinated they told me that she had her parvo shot now my dog is dead from parvo and they are refusing to return my money I paid $2,000 for that dog!!!! I just a happened to stop in this shop to just look around. I see a teenage girl named Aja totally rough manhandling a puppy. I heard barking and puppy crying and looked to see this girl in the back (not noticing she was being watched by myself and another patron) grabbing this puppy forcefully as if it were a pain in the a** to her, forcefully pushing puppy mouth to open. Grabbing the dog in jerking motions. She might as well have shook to puppy. Matter of fact the puppy was being handled like a "object" in a very uncaring way. She knew I was watching her and she tried to change her tune. It's cramped and some of the puppies look lethargic. The whole staff was a bunch of teenagers who I highly doubt have been trained to handle puppies at all. It's not just for fun people!!! This place needs a visit from ASPCA. Save the puppies get them out, close this place down, and ADOPT or if anything go to the breeder if you can't help yourself- don't support puppy mill stores - this place is no good. read more

I would caution people from getting a dog from here. I got my dog here 4 months ago. It is a cavalier King Charles spaniel, supposed to be one of the gentlest dogs (according to my vet and dog trainer). Sadly my baby is not doing well. He is food aggressive towards my other dog, has bit my children numerous times, resource guards this food and resting areas. He is also quite small for his age/breed. Hundreds of dollars spent in training bc I am not one of those people that just gets rid of dogs without trying to correct their behavior. My very experienced, very expensive dog trainer said that my dogs behavior is most likely from improper and/or abusive care from the breeder. Or a puppy mill dog....It is HIGHLY unlikely related to the breed as this is uncharacteristic from them. So please all, be mindful when getting a dog from here. It is easy to fall in love with a puppy!! Do your research, there are akc breeders if you want a purebred dog. Don't go into a pet store when your having a bad day.... read more

We were shopping for a bone for our dog and got talking with a woman shopping for a puppy. The puppies took interest in my 6 year old daughter and the woman was enjoying watching her engage with them. A very rude employee came over and started saying how customers can not come in to just "play with puppies" and not buy anything. I had a horrible experience here a few years ago, and I decided to go in again to see if anything had changed. I wish I hadn't. The first time I visited this establishment several years ago, I was disappointed in the behavior of the staff, as well as the general layout of the store. It is small and cramped and difficult to navigate, so much so that I seriously considered taking the backpack I was wearing back out to my car so I could squeeze through the racks more effectively. The staff completely ignored my existence. I walked right past one woman who was rearranging stock while the other visible staff member was loudly arguing with a (hopefully former) customer on the phone. Apparently the puppy this person had purchased was having some kind of stomach issue, and the staff member was berating her for not feeding it the right kind of food. I chose to leave at this point as I had no desire to patronize the store. Fast forward to a few days ago. I needed to pick up some things before leaving town for a few days and Pets Pajamas was convenient to some other errands I needed to run. I walked in to find the store slightly less cramped, which was nice. I was actually greeted this time and asked what I needed. When I said I was just browsing the staff member just kind of shrugged and walked away. They didn't have the food or other supplies I was looking for, and honestly after two less than thrilling experiences there I have no desire to return. read more

I went in fully prepared to buy a kitten and when I asked to hold one, a young woman who worked there said not if I'm not going to buy one and I said I was and she ignored me for 10 minutes while I stood there waiting for her to open it for me so I left. Manager is extremely extremely rude, I watched while one of her employees knocked a dog toy onto the ground. While I was walking past I pushed it aside with my foot so no one would trip over it. I had food and drink in my hand or I would have picked it up myself. The manager then grabbed my shoulder and said, hey here I'll teach you how to pick it up. maybe you should teach your employees how to, it was one of yours that knocked it down. The lady got really offensive and said I wouldn't hire you. I always loved coming into this place and browsing, even after my horrible experience experience I had years back. About 14 years ago I purchased a dog with them that turned out to have parvo, when we brought it to there attention they only offered to pay the vet bills, even after the dog had past away from it. They then had to shut there doors for a few days to bleach the place. When I brought this to her attention she got really outraged and started snapping pictures of me. This still happened and if the manager would have had some respect towards her customers I would have never brought this to light. I never once had brought this to anyone's attention till now. read more

Stopped in there today with a friend. About 15 beagle puppies in one cage. A little black and white dog in the front that seemed to be sick. They were selling kittens so young that their claws couldn't retract. Two individuals were buying puppies who were clearly too young to be away from their mother's. The woman behind the counter was telling the one woman to give the little dog chicken mixed with wet food, when this little tiny puppy was too young to eat solid food. Horrible place, smells bad, and these are clearly puppy mill dogs and cats. Please adopt from a shelter instead of this awful place. read more

We went in to see if they had any kittens. When we walked in there were 2 staff members at the desk talking to each other. They didn't even look at us much less greet us. It was dead in there, we were the only customers at the time. Not sure why their conversation was more important than asking us if we needed any help.That was a turnoff right off the bat. We found in the back of the store the kittens they had available, but they were not what we were looking for. The only decent person that actually smiled at us and said hi was someone coming out from the grooming area. Not impressed and wouldn't give my business there. Not to mention that people have said for years that they get their puppies from puppy mills. Better off going to a rescue. read more

So I adopted a golden-doodle from here and when I came to pick him up they provided me with all the wrong information regarding the puppy's age to what he had for shots. I was not impressed and had a hell of a time when I had to take him to the vet appointment and the birth date they gave was so off we now have additional appointments for his shots so that they are correct. Kathy is great but her staff needs to pay more attention to what they write when they do up the paperwork. read more

Over the years, I've purchased 3 cavachons here. And I've referred a few others who bought pups here. I always liked being able to interact with the pups prior to purchase in order to select one that will fit in with our empty-nester lifestyle. We recently lost one of our dogs and decided to look for another pup. I went in and immediately saw an adorable aussiedoodle in a pen. I picked him up and was immediately scolded by a snippy clerk who told me I could only hold him if I wanted to purchase him. (That's why we were there.) Also there is no sign saying this and I've always held puppies here but ok. I said we ARE looking to buy a puppy and I asked her a couple questions about the dog's age and potential size but she was too busy and annoyed to stop putting things away and give me her attention. She answered in a curt and bothered tone but showed no interest in being polite or making a sale. So my husband held him and we looked him over. I decided to put him down to check his gait. The nasty clerk again scolded me rudely and said I can't watch him walk. She snatched him up and took him back to the pen. I asked, "I'm not allowed to see him walk before I buy him?" She said, "No, we have to put a blanket out." (As if a puppy is going to stay on a blanket.) I decided I wasn't doing business here and told her I've bought 3 dogs there and have never been treated like this. Then, as I was leaving, an older lady came up (probably the owner) and said, "She wasn't insulting you. Im sorry you're having an attitude." What? I came in there very happy and having an awesome day, looking forward to getting a puppy! We left very disappointed and puppyless. The "attitude" was entirely from the clerk. She's not nice at all and the owner defended her rudeness. I hope they don't treat the puppies the way they treat loyal customers! read more

I told her I wasn't sure what time I could come in to get it and offered to put a deposit to hold it. She said it wasn't necessary. Rude & smells horrible. I am visiting from Arizona and love animals. I came in asking a question about a crystallized collar/special color and the owner was on her phone and said snobbishly "I don't know" and went back to looking at her phone. I was still curious about this expensive collar and then asked another question about who makes the collar and if they had a local maker/website I could look at and she just looked the other way and proceeded to be on her phone. At work. When a customer has a question. When I left her store as I was walking out, the white haired lady named Cathy Paige, said GO BACK TO ARIZONA..... just wow. I used to come here every time I was in Ohio but I won't be coming back. What a shame. Those poor, poor animals. read more

We bought a Bullgle from here a little over year and a half ago. He ended up being extremely aggressive and almost killing our other dog. 8 months later I called to see if they had any issues with this breed and what options they would suggest for getting him trained . They refused to call me back. Come to find out two othe Bullgles they have sold have had the same issues. These dogs should not be bred or should come with guidance as it is a newer breed with not much information. These dogs should not be in a home where there is another dog. They are extremely cute but aggressive and dangerous. This should be disclosed to the buyers. read more

Friendly and helpful staff and Kathy, the owner is very very nice. Kids are so excited on getting this new addition to the family. i went into the store at about 5 pm on June 2. No one greeted me for 10 minutes. i approached the counter where a blonde woman was hunched over texting on her phone and I asked if I could look at the puppy . She looked up at me and said " if you're interested purchasing a puppy, we will show you one". Her tone and complete lack of kindness and ire was apparent. I thought to myself, "why else would I be here asking about puppies?" Her employee got one out... I held him a while.... then I overheard her complaining about lost keys. Then I heard a dramatic phone conversation where she was rude with another customer over the phone who she felt like was prank calling her and she swore out loud in her store in front of me after the call. I used to actually like this place, but I feel like the place is in a down spiral. We purchased our toy poodle from here a couple of years ago and it was a good experience, but we walked in today to find our poodle a partner in crime and it was an atrocious experience. My wife has had her eye on a French bulldog for a while and we heard they had one in stock for 4,500 dollars. We walked in to see how we fit in with our family and then maybe bring our dog in as well. As we asked to see the dog we were told, "UHM, are you going to buy him?" We replied with, "maybe if he fits in with us". The girl then said "well, are you going to buy him today?". At that point I took my family and left to buy a dog somewhere else. Totally rude service for returning customers. We will never shop here again. read more

We came in to browse while waiting for a family member. First, we were never greeted by anyone, the staff didn't greet any guests that walked through their doors. After a quick glance, it was obvious they were in the business of selling puppy mill puppies. Very few were of a "pure breed". They actually have mixed dogs, mutts, for sale for as much as $899.00. The glass cube in which they are kept is insufficient and cruel. I measured one about 2ft x 2ft x 2ft, and it contained 3 puppies. Making my way to the back I noticed a woman with three small children. The kids were very well behaved. I was in the back room with them looking at the kittens (one kitten was sneezing a lot) and then they walked towards the paintings. An older woman in yellow and wearing an apron was yelling at staff. Then she turned her anger on the 3 small children berating them and their mother on how her store "was not a playground, and that they needed to get out" of a certain area. She was accusing these children of messing up a particular area. These children did not do it as the true culprits who were twice as old were in the back room playing with 2 dogs. The mother looked upset and took her kids and left. While they were leaving, this woman yelled: "Bye kids, go play somewhere else." She then stomped to the back. This mom must have been upset because she came back without her kids and wanted to speak with the older woman in yellow. I heard the mom try to explain that her children didn't mess up the area, they were only looking around. I also heard her say that she had embarrassed her and her children. The mom asked the woman if she was the owner. The woman in yellow stated that she was. The owner said she didn't have time for "you people!" There were a couple of strong words exchanged. As the mom was leaving she was told: "I don't need your business, this isn't a playground." I left right after this. This place is awful, and the owner's behavior was disgusting. I will not return, and I will pass my experience to friends, family, and co-workers. Please buy responsibly, there are many lovely mutts available at the Humane Society of Summit County. Their animals have veterinary care, they are neutered or spayed, they are chipped, and they are socialized. read more
