Horrible groomers. Please do not take your precious pets here. It's not clean and had a horrific experience with an unprofessional groomer. I became very upset and was crying after my dog went off backwards and fell 4 feet to the floor with the groomer standing right there. My son was injured really bad. Afterwards The owner went to my family member and said that I was too upset after that happened. Wouldn't any pet owner be upset? Run away from this place. I cannot say enough good things about these groomers! My dog has been a customer of theirs for over 2 years now and they have always been friendly and provide an exceptional service. Today I left even more happy than I ever have before. My dog has been experiencing seizures more frequently than usual and they accommodated for him. They allowed him to come in earlier so he could still get his haircut without getting overstimulated around all the other dogs. In the past I have assumed that mistakes happen but when you couple those egregious mistakes with a bad attitude and a lack of care, it is really frustrating. Took my dog there because I had a grooming appointment. They made me chain her to the wall, and assured me she would be done by 6 when they closed. I arrived at 5:40 because I had not received a phone call that she was ready to be picked up and found her STILL chained where I had left her. They said they did a brush and tried yo wash her but she did cooperate. She had not been brushed at all. They apologized and tried to get me to reschedule. So happy after my first trip here. The attendant was helpful in explaining everything to me. There are at least 4 soap types that all smell great. They provide a choke chain if you don't have one for washing. The facility is relatively clean being a dog wash I was impressed. Afterwards, the lady working there explained everything they did very thoroughly, which I appreciated. I took my elderly dog into Wash Wag for a nail clipping this past Saturday. Crystal took care of her and was very kind and gentle with my old girl. I had been referred by a friend who was thrilled with the services there and so on her recommendation, I gave it a try. I will be going back! We just picked up our dog, Coconut from his full service bath which included a brush, bath, rinse, and dry. I'm sure that service was fine, but they added two, pretty large "tattoos" of paw prints on his back. One was dark green and one was black. They didn't ask if we wanted this nor did we ask for it. Coconut has a white coat and we have white carpet, we took him to be cleaned and didn't appreciate this. They said the tattoos would wash right off, but my husband scrubbed pretty hard when we got home so it wouldn't get on the carpet but there's still faint markings and he's wet in that area. Putting tattoos on a white dog defeats the purpose of professional grooming unless the client asks for it. read more

Just brought my 2 doggies here after a few months. I did have a previous review, in which a 'former' employee was very rude and not helpful. Yesterday they did in fact redeem themselves. My schnoodle was so matted. I felt so bad. I had family issues and was back in PA a couple of times around Christmas/New Years for my grandmothers death. And, my boss at work has cancer, and we've been putting in a lot of over time. So, time just got away from me recently and my poor puppies suffered ....... Well, they did a nice job on both of my dogs. They weren't judgmental or anything. They were cordial and helpful, and pleasantly nice this time. The only thing that I want to point out is....when you are dropping off, its extremely loud and busy there. They scream across the room for someone to help... That kind of overwhelms me a tad.... and if I may make a suggestion--- to hire just a front desk person to do checking in and out? Also, if there is a possibility in the near future to have an outside/separate office part that isn't in the midst of everything to be able to drop off and pick up would be a nice and welcomed addition. Just a suggestion :)) I know in a perfect world w/ expendable income...we all would have exactly what we want.. LOL The owner was very sweet in all my dealings, so I have to give her positive marks for that one.... Overall, I am pleased with my second visit there. Wash Wag is such a convenience for us! I've taken my furry boy there twice - the first time I stayed with him and had a groomer bathe him and the second time I did it by myself...until I overflowed the bathing tub! (I took my glasses off because they got all wet and I couldn't see the tub was about to overflow.) The staff could not have been nicer and told me to just keep bathing the dog, they would mop up ALL the water! Our vet just recommended weekly baths for an itching problem so I will be visiting a lot in the next several weeks! I will be sure to wear my contacts so I can see the water levels! *Like talking to a kindergartner. My fiancé and I attempted to have a service from Wash and Wag that was never rendered but partially paid for. Instead of discussing the lack of services rendered the owner of Wash and Wag wanted to discuss an employee that she had terminated. Frankly it shows poor social etiquette for the owner to bring up or discuss personal shop business with customers. I don't care about whom or when or why you fire people and I do not patronize a business so the owner can share disparaging remarks about employees. Ultimately the shop business and environment is the responsibility of the owner and all I have heard from Wash and Wags owner is a shifting of the blame, a complete lack of ability to take any responsibly and an effort to change the topic of discussion from lack of services rendered to grammar and personal information. Instead of addressing the issue in order to appropriately satisfy the customer, Wash and Wags owner attacked and attempted to shift blame. Wash and Wag both lacks respect and the ability to show respect to others. Instead the owner would like to pretend as though everything is everyone else's fault. My fiancée and I left feeling disrespected, insulted, and ripped off. We brought in 2 dogs to get haircuts. One dog was a terrier mix and he is the hyper one, but Wash and Wag had no problem. The other dog is an air doodle and limp noodle when it comes to people handling him. The owner tried to tell me my dog was not an air doodle, was "wild", and needed drugs to sedate him. Then the owner wanted us to pay to still pay for a dog bath even though that was not the service we wanted. When I told her that we were not satisfied and if she wanted us to pay for the bath we would never return she said..."That's fine." We took our air doodle to Celebrity Pets and they had absolutely no problems. Celebrity Pets said he was a sweetheart. No one said he was "wild" or that he needed drugged or any other ridiculous statements that would shift the blame or the topic of discussion. read more
