He was sounding very vicious and nipped at the groomer at least a dozen times. She handled herself like she has done this before and was not freaked out at all even though I was. It made me sad to see my little guy so upset and anxious. Stacy told me to leave and she would check in with me shortly. The next thing I know she sends me a picture of him and he is doing just fine. He has developed an anxiety over people touching him because of a bad vet appointment he had as a puppy. Anyhow the next thing I knew she was done and he was happy and they were friends. I am going to take him back there more often than I need to just so he can have some of her wonderful love. Rusty needs to build some trust and I couldn't think of a better person to help him do that.

He tends to let go of his bowels when he's having his nails trimmed. I asked if they could handle that. the woman on the phone said to withhold food for a day, which I did even though I felt that was cruel. We went and my pup was nervous as some dogs are in strange places. She took him in the room and was talking to him gently, reassuring him. He did try to bite so she muzzled him, which I have no objection to. He continued to fight her and the next thing I hear is "you're a nasty dog". he evidentially pooped a little bit. I warned her, she said they could handle it. if she talks like this while the dog parent is standing right there I can't imagine how an animal is treated when they're dropped off for grooming and get nervous. I went back and held him so she could finish trimming. I paid we left, never to return!
