But once I found Ruff House I immediately felt relieved. I have now taken my dog to day care and boarded her for a long weekend and felt very comfortable the whole time. They are great at communication, pictures and have so many amenities for you to be able to personalize your dog's visit. I got pictures every day and saw my dog having the time of her life! Not only is their doggie day care and boarding wonderful, but their social media presence is very consistent, creative and so entertaining! It was so fun to see their post and my dog having so much fun while I was away. Lastly, each employee I have talked to has been very kind and helpful, they really reassured me when I boarded my dog the first time! With 100% recommend this family business!

When we arrived to drop them off, the staff wasn't friendly or inviting, which should have been our tell-all. Walking back to the kennel, it was dark, cold, uninviting, and sad. The worst part was picking them up. We arrived early, which gave us the true picture of their time there. They were so frantic to get out of there, they weren't happy to see us, but instead blazed past us for the front door like they were trying to escape. We've never seen them act this way. Despite having "outdoor access" their beds and blankets smelled so badly of pet waste we had to discard them, and they were having to lay in that filth and stink because they seemed to have had nowhere else to go. They also had never been given their toys or treats. The staff was as cold and unfriendly as when we left them, we should have run for our lives and never ever left our babies there. Expensive and horrible.

Absolutely horrible house-cleaning experience…read more I hired her for a deep cleaning because I recently had my first baby, both my husband and I work full-time, and he travels for work. I desperately needed reliable help and provided a list of specific things I wanted addressed. I was willing to pay accordingly and even tipped her for her work. The scheduling has been a constant issue. She rescheduled us three separate times because of conflicts on her end. We hadn't seen her in months, but I had her scheduled this week and next week to help get our house ready for our son's first birthday. This week, our son was slightly under the weather, so I told her I would keep him in his room while she cleaned. Instead of simply communicating with me, she proceeded to cuss me out and told me she couldn't come next week because she was moving, even though we were already on her schedule. She then pushed our next appointment all the way to the end of October. The cleaning itself has also been extremely disappointing. Several things I specifically requested were barely touched or not cleaned properly. When I expressed my concerns, she called me repeatedly while I was at work and left nasty voicemails, cursing at me and telling me how ridiculous I was for providing a list. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a deep cleaning to be thorough or to provide a list of priorities when I'm paying for a specific service. If she disagrees with a request, there are professional ways to communicate that without cursing at or insulting a customer. After the repeated scheduling issues, poor quality of cleaning, and the way my concerns were handled, I would not recommend this business. I was simply looking for reliable help while balancing a full-time job, a baby, and a husband who travels for work, and this experience created far more stress than it was worth.
