But once I found Ruff House I immediately felt relieved. I have now taken my dog to day care and boarded her for a long weekend and felt very comfortable the whole time. They are great at communication, pictures and have so many amenities for you to be able to personalize your dog's visit. I got pictures every day and saw my dog having the time of her life! Not only is their doggie day care and boarding wonderful, but their social media presence is very consistent, creative and so entertaining! It was so fun to see their post and my dog having so much fun while I was away. Lastly, each employee I have talked to has been very kind and helpful, they really reassured me when I boarded my dog the first time! With 100% recommend this family business!

When we arrived to drop them off, the staff wasn't friendly or inviting, which should have been our tell-all. Walking back to the kennel, it was dark, cold, uninviting, and sad. The worst part was picking them up. We arrived early, which gave us the true picture of their time there. They were so frantic to get out of there, they weren't happy to see us, but instead blazed past us for the front door like they were trying to escape. We've never seen them act this way. Despite having "outdoor access" their beds and blankets smelled so badly of pet waste we had to discard them, and they were having to lay in that filth and stink because they seemed to have had nowhere else to go. They also had never been given their toys or treats. The staff was as cold and unfriendly as when we left them, we should have run for our lives and never ever left our babies there. Expensive and horrible.

Here are the key reasons why we're giving her 5 stars: - She was crystal clear in our first telephone conversation about what she does and what she does not do, and she provided a meaningful, typical-average price estimate (unlike other companies that we called that wanted to come by to 'give us an estimate' and wouldn't talk money over the phone), and her final charges were totally consistent with what she described. - She showed up at the agreed time and texted me 'one week before' and 'one day before' to confirm our appointment. I haven't received this kind of service from almost anyone but my dentist. - She did a great job cleaning our home. She solicited feedback from us on the work she did (BEFORE she left!), and guided a final, joint-walkthrough of the house to be sure we were happy with the results. - She was totally responsive to our needs as we had expressed them.
