I just received a half full bottle from them that was sealed no indications of leaks or breakage in the bottle, awaiting help from their customer support. The bottle and juice seem to be genuine however. If they fix this issue promptly I would be glad to up my review to 5 stars if it doesn't become a headache. read more

There should be included a 0 star. A few years back this company was honest. However, I have tried them at different times in the past year only to find everything I ordered was a FAKE product. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY unless you want to be VERY disappointed. Can Not Be Trusted. read more

I just placed an order on Friday, and it arrived today. My order included three bottles, and they were all packaged very well and had no issues at all. They were exactly as expected! I'm very satisfied and plan to order more soon! read more

I ordered an Amouage fragrance while I was out of the country and when I finally made it home, I opened the package and noticed that the bottle had the batch number scratched off, the QR code had been tampered with, and even the code under it was scratched off, preventing me from confirming if this is actually an authentic. I reached out to them with photos, explaining that I had been away, and explaining my concerns. Despite multiple attempts, the refused to help, saying that it had been more than 30 days, refused to acknowledge all the suspicious markings, explain what happened, and then just ignored my emails. read more

Do not order from here. One night I inputted into Google the exact perfume that I wanted to buy. A list of sellers came up and I liked the price from the perfume spot, so I ordered it. The next morning I looked at their Google reviews and saw so many negatives and how other customers were just receiving alcohol in a bottle that I immediately called the company and tried to cancel my order. The representative said that it was already shipped. I said that it's been less than 12 hours, how is it already shipped? She said that once an order is placed, the status goes to "shipped." I looked up the tracking number and they still had the item. It wasn't given to the carrier yet so they could've easily cancelled the order and kept the perfume. Instead the woman "emailed me a label to put on the package when I receive it so it can be returned for a FULL refund." A week later I received the package and immediately returned it the same day. A week after that they only gave me a partial refund. I called and asked why and they said that I had to pay the shipping since it was shipped. So I just paid $7.95 for absolutely nothing but aggravation... I am writing this to help others. Don't make the same mistake I did. read more

Unfortunately, the customer service in this company is just horrible. I called them after my package has been stolen from my front porch. And instead of providing any kind of help, I got in contact with a REALLY rude person who just said "File a police report we have nothing to do with the problem if it's been delivered". No words of concern or any care, really. I'm not going to be buying from this company again. I never said it was leaking, I said it was stolen right away! read more

Counterfeit: I ordered a full size bottle of Juliette Has a Gun Superdose 4/14/25. At first the perfume smelled great, exactly how I expected, but once I made it through the perfume in the spray tube the remainer of the bottle is pure alcohol. Of course, I didn't realize this until after the 30 day return window. They told me I cannot get a refund despite receiving an inauthentic product because it's past 30 days. read more

Bought a 6.8oz bottle of Bacarrat Rouge 540 Extrait on Black Friday. Unfortunately, I saw the reviews AFTER I ordered it, and there was no way to cancel. I received the bottle and it looked okay. I reluctantly opened it out of the cellophane and realized the cellophane looked glue-gunned and re-wrapped. The box seemed sturdy and real, but the more I looked, the more everything seemed off. The perfume itself was floating around loose inside the box and there were red markings all over the inside of the box like red pencil or something. The outlined shape where the perfume sits inside the box was ripped along the edge. Initially, I was thinking that maybe the perfume had shifted around really hard while it was being transported, but the damage inside the box did not make sense for that theory. This perfume was also missing the little pamphlet it is supposed to come with. The fragrance itself smelled "similar" but not like the original. It didn't on me beyond an hour and had this weird lingering chemical smell - and almost too much saffron -- nothing like the original I have used before on my skin. This smell actually made me a bit nauseous. I scanned the QR code on the bottom of the box and it called a phone number that "could not be dialed". Then I looked up the batch number online and it could not be found (batch number V24050). I am heartbroken because even though this was a discounted bottle of perfume, it was still crazy expensive -- $680, plus tax. Not cheap. I am returning this item and will not be repurchasing anything this expensive again from The Perfume Spot. I do not believe the seller is deliberately misleading customers, however, I do think there are many fakes going around for this particular fragrance (and probably many others) and perhaps they did not get this particular one from a reputable source. How would they know unless they preemptively opened every single perfume? I am returning the item today via UPS and am most likely out a restocking fee, plus another $30 for shipping with insurance, but learned my lesson and will buy this fragrance directy from an authorized retailer. I ordered Cinnabar perfume. Such a beautiful scent in the 70's so I thought maybe they reproduced the scent. Paid 36.00 for it. It's HORRIBLE. Nothing like the original. I will never order on this site again. read more

Since I grew-up in Edison NJ, (I graduated from Edison High in 1971), I really wanted this transaction to go well. Unfortunately, of the 10 fragrances I ordered from this disreputable organization, not a single one of them was an authentic fragrance as their website claims. Basically, this organization is ripping off the consumers through their non-authentic, fake fragrances. This organization cheated me out of almost $200.00. My goal is to protect others from this organization. Hopefully I can achieve that goal. read more

My initial experiences were very good. However, my last order has been a nightmare. I placed an order on 8/22/25 and was told that it would be delivered before 9/1. I had to inquire about the order, which I shouldn't have had to do. Then, after contacting them again on 9/3, I was asked if I received an email from the shipping company. I checked my email and sure enough there was an email (with photos) stating that my package had been delivered. While, yes, it was my house and my front door, my husband checked all areas around our house, but no package was found. I contacted the Perfume Spot to let them know that I still hadn't received my order and was given the shippers info to contact them for a pick up (the shipper/carrier is Universal or Uni Uni). I reminded them that I had nothing for them to pick up as I never received my order. The customer service representative (CSR) wrote back that Uni Uni had my package and I had to contact them to get it. I then requested the return payment of the shipping and handling charges since I paid for it and had to go to Uni Uni for my package! The CSR replied that because Uni Uni made an attempt to deliver, I can't receive a refund. So, I made 3 attempts to contact Uni Uni and of course, they left me on hold for 5 minutes and then hung up. I never had the opportunity to speak to a person (not surprising). I have now requested my refund and wouldn't be surprised if they try to deny me that much. It's a small amount, but it's my money. Bottom line: I let The Perfume Spot know that I will never order from them again, and I will spread the word to anyone and everyone who will take heed not to do the same. They start off well and end badly. read more

Stay away! I ordered from them and the product was a fake. I ordered a gift pack of the body lotion & perfume. The body lotion was thin as can be and had a horrible chemical/plastic odor. I received my gift package "Dream" by Catherine Malandrino. It was shipped within the time frame stated and it looks and smells like the authentic perfume. The package looks new and it is not damaged and the colors are vibrant just like seen on the website. I don't know why some people state in their reviews that they did not get the real deal. That needs to be addressed with the company. Mine looks and smells authentic. If this would be fake, it is extremely well done but I do not believe that it is not authentic. Thank you. I will order again. P.S. Unfortunately, some people are trolls and may have certain interests in writing bad or false comments in order to sabotage someone's success. read more

Return customer, had accrued several coupons that were sent over to me. Called because the picture of a higher end product did not match that of the manufacturer. I asked if there was a way to verify that there wasn't an error in the name of the product since the manufacturer had released different versions with the same bottle and they varied in color. Representative continued to repeat herself that if I did not feel comfortable to just not buy it. Kept stating the same thing with an attitude as I remained calm with a soft voice. Then I asked her, ok, so in your explanation I can return the product if I do not like it but would I be able to get the amount of the coupons I had earned back? Her response was NO. She did not follow up with another word and staid silent. I said thank you for the info and ended that interaction. Now after reading several negative reviews I have decided to take my business elsewhere. If that picture was true to the item then it must be fake, rancid or whatever other descriptions have been mentioned here. Shop at reputable stores like ulta, where they have an amazing return policy and you get $ back from purchases. They even have an event for x5 the points for the product I'm looking for it turns out. Never again will I shop here and I'll let my other relatives know to avoid it. If your paying a pretty penny then you should be treated accordingly. Period. The product I was referring to was over $100 so GIRL BYE. Screw them $35 coupons. Now I wonder if the products I bought were good since they were all gifts...... read more

I ordered from them online and paid around $150 for two orders of Jean Paul Gaultier cologne. I even paid for expedited shipping. Beware this company advertise 100% AUTHENTIC FRAGRANCES. But it's a lie. I received my obsession Cologne, it was fake it was like watered down version.plus they advertise 30 days money back guarantee. But what I wasn't aware that they deduct the shipping fees when they shipped it to me. Plus you will pay for shipping it back to them. So they know you going to pay shipping twice one for receiving it and one for sending it back. Most customers will be discouraged because the little refund they will receive back it won't be worth it to return it.. it will probably be 50% deduction after all shipping is deducted. read more

The Perfume Spot is a total RIP-OFF!!! I received my order and the fragrance is not the same as I remember. It was weak and the formulation had obviously changed, without any fair warning. They have a 30 day return, so I returned the items and expected a full refund. They said they would issue a refund after they received the merchandise back. Well, I did, in fact, receive a refund MINUS THE SHIPPING CHARGES. Beware, The Perfume Spot will NOT refund the shipping charges, which is criminal in my opinion because the shipping charges are part of the ENTIRE order. Suffice it to say, The Perfume Spot RIPPED ME OFF FOR $53.95 in overnight shipping. There is no warning before you place your order that shipping charges are not refunded. I had to menu dive in order to find their one sentence saying that shipping charges are not refunded. They are total rip-offs and I think my buying days at The Perfume Spot are over. I've been a long-time customer, but no more. I refuse to be ripped off. So, BEWARE, The Perfume Spot sells fragrances that are weak and reformulated, and they do NOT refund shipping charges. Again, BEWARE OF THE PERFUME SPOT!!! I've found my new online fragrance source, FragranceNet.com!!! Now, FragranceNet rawks and they don't rip you off. Besides, they have a way better selection of fragrances. Avoid The Perfume Spot at all costs!!! Don't say I didn't warn you. They really suck! read more

Tried to get my mom a gift. Fake perfume. Pretty embarrassing. Called customer service. They were belligerent. :) I see you reading this review. I don't know how many you need to read to be convinced that they're a fake seller. Trust me, trust this one. They're fake. I'm not asking you to go buy a different brand, I'm saying specifically DO NOT buy this one. Why would you order when you have no chance of return without paying return shipping? And she kept telling me they stand behind their products, when I have the original bottle to compare to the new one. She says they're 100% authentic. More like 100% autistic.
