I ordered an Amouage fragrance while I was out of the country and when I finally made it home, I opened the package and noticed that the bottle had the batch number scratched off, the QR code had been tampered with, and even the code under it was scratched off, preventing me from confirming if this is actually an authentic. I reached out to them with photos, explaining that I had been away, and explaining my concerns. Despite multiple attempts, the refused to help, saying that it had been more than 30 days, refused to acknowledge all the suspicious markings, explain what happened, and then just ignored my emails. read more

Do not order from here. One night I inputted into Google the exact perfume that I wanted to buy. A list of sellers came up and I liked the price from the perfume spot, so I ordered it. The next morning I looked at their Google reviews and saw so many negatives and how other customers were just receiving alcohol in a bottle that I immediately called the company and tried to cancel my order. The representative said that it was already shipped. I said that it's been less than 12 hours, how is it already shipped? She said that once an order is placed, the status goes to "shipped." I looked up the tracking number and they still had the item. It wasn't given to the carrier yet so they could've easily cancelled the order and kept the perfume. Instead the woman "emailed me a label to put on the package when I receive it so it can be returned for a FULL refund." A week later I received the package and immediately returned it the same day. A week after that they only gave me a partial refund. I called and asked why and they said that I had to pay the shipping since it was shipped. So I just paid $7.95 for absolutely nothing but aggravation... I am writing this to help others. Don't make the same mistake I did. read more

Counterfeit: I ordered a full size bottle of Juliette Has a Gun Superdose 4/14/25. At first the perfume smelled great, exactly how I expected, but once I made it through the perfume in the spray tube the remainer of the bottle is pure alcohol. Of course, I didn't realize this until after the 30 day return window. They told me I cannot get a refund despite receiving an inauthentic product because it's past 30 days. read more

Since I grew-up in Edison NJ, (I graduated from Edison High in 1971), I really wanted this transaction to go well. Unfortunately, of the 10 fragrances I ordered from this disreputable organization, not a single one of them was an authentic fragrance as their website claims. Basically, this organization is ripping off the consumers through their non-authentic, fake fragrances. This organization cheated me out of almost $200.00. My initial experiences were very good. However, my last order has been a nightmare. I placed an order on 8/22/25 and was told that it would be delivered before 9/1. I had to inquire about the order, which I shouldn't have had to do. Then, after contacting them again on 9/3, I was asked if I received an email from the shipping company. I checked my email and sure enough there was an email (with photos) stating that my package had been delivered. While, yes, it was my house and my front door, my husband checked all areas around our house, but no package was found. I contacted the Perfume Spot to let them know that I still hadn't received my order and was given the shippers info to contact them for a pick up (the shipper/carrier is Universal or Uni Uni). I reminded them that I had nothing for them to pick up as I never received my order. The customer service representative (CSR) wrote back that Uni Uni had my package and I had to contact them to get it. I then requested the return payment of the shipping and handling charges since I paid for it and had to go to Uni Uni for my package! The CSR replied that because Uni Uni made an attempt to deliver, I can't receive a refund. So, I made 3 attempts to contact Uni Uni and of course, they left me on hold for 5 minutes and then hung up. I never had the opportunity to speak to a person (not surprising). I have now requested my refund and wouldn't be surprised if they try to deny me that much. It's a small amount, but it's my money. Bottom line: I let The Perfume Spot know that I will never order from them again, and I will spread the word to anyone and everyone who will take heed not to do the same. I placed an order and paid for it on October 9, 2024. The merchandise had not arrived by October 14. I called and was told it would be delivered "tomorrow by UPS." It was not. I called on October 16 and was told (1) that it would arrive "today by UPS" (2) that I would be sent the tracking number by email. I did not receive a UPS tracking number. I received my gift package "Dream" by Catherine Malandrino. It was shipped within the time frame stated and it looks and smells like the authentic perfume. The package looks new and it is not damaged and the colors are vibrant just like seen on the website. I don't know why some people state in their reviews that they did not get the real deal. That needs to be addressed with the company. Mine looks and smells authentic. If this would be fake, it is extremely well done but I do not believe that it is not authentic. Thank you. The box was damaged it was Elizabeth Arden and the face cream smelled old and it didn't have one of those silver things that protect the tip when I opened up the cream for my face thinking they might've squeezed the bottle and put fake cream in the inside from my crappy lotion bottle so I won't be buying anymore read more

Return customer, had accrued several coupons that were sent over to me. Called because the picture of a higher end product did not match that of the manufacturer. I asked if there was a way to verify that there wasn't an error in the name of the product since the manufacturer had released different versions with the same bottle and they varied in color. Representative continued to repeat herself that if I did not feel comfortable to just not buy it. Kept stating the same thing with an attitude as I remained calm with a soft voice. Then I asked her, ok, so in your explanation I can return the product if I do not like it but would I be able to get the amount of the coupons I had earned back? Her response was NO. Now after reading several negative reviews I have decided to take my business elsewhere. If that picture was true to the item then it must be fake, rancid or whatever other descriptions have been mentioned here. Shop at reputable stores like ulta, where they have an amazing return policy and you get $ back from purchases. They even have an event for x5 the points for the product I'm looking for it turns out. I received my obsession Cologne, it was fake it was like watered down version.plus they advertise 30 days money back guarantee. The Perfume Spot is a total RIP-OFF!!! I received my order and the fragrance is not the same as I remember. It was weak and the formulation had obviously changed, without any fair warning. They have a 30 day return, so I returned the items and expected a full refund. They said they would issue a refund after they received the merchandise back. Well, I did, in fact, receive a refund MINUS THE SHIPPING CHARGES.
