We are so incredibly grateful for Performance Academy! You gave Nathan his start and opened the door for him to discover his true calling. The Actor's Forum experience - and that near 100% call-back rate - was a game changer for us. It showed us a path we never knew how to navigate, and it has been amazing to watch Nathan's confidence and passion grow because of the foundation you provided. Thank you for everything you do, not just for Nathan, but for the entire community of kids who come through your doors. Your commitment, encouragement, and belief in these young performers is something truly special. Performance Academy doesn't just teach skills - you inspire dreams. We are forever grateful! read more

I enrolled my daughter at Performers Academy when she was 10 to help her overcome her shyness and build confidence. From the very first day, she felt welcomed, and the positive, supportive environment quickly became a safe place for her to grow. Over time, I watched her truly come out of her shell. She became more confident, expressive, and comfortable speaking in front of others. What started as a way to help her socially turned into a genuine passion--she even took on lead roles in her school play and amazed us with her talent. The instructors are incredibly encouraging and knowledgeable, and Brianne has created something really special--an organized, professional program that still feels warm and like a family. This experience has meant so much to our family. Acting class is now the highlight of her week, and I'm so grateful to Performers Academy for helping her find her confidence and passion. I highly recommend it to any parent looking to support their child's growth and self-confidence. read more

My daughter tried both acting and singing for 3 sessions. She didn't like it. And because of their cancellation policy we ended up paying for 8 sessions which she will not attend. The whole process was extremely unpleasant. There should be a different rule for those who want to quit because they are not happy VS those quitting for other reasons. read more

Love, love, love this studio! I brought my nephew to try out the class for the littles (5 year olds). It's such a caring environment and the teachers are so knowledgable about the industry but also so down-to-earth and approachable. His teacher is so sweet and made sure to allow him time to slowly get comfortable. He was nervous about being in the class without his mom but his teacher reassured him and had him be the class helper to take his mind off his nerves. I truly appreciate The Performer's Academy going the extra mile to make sure my little one felt comfortable and had fun. =) read more

Signed my 12 year old son up 3 years ago, now he's got an agent and ready to take over Hollywood! Thanks Performer's Academy!

Our kids have been going to Performer's Academy for over 3 years now, and we've had such a great experience. One of them even landed an agent through the recent Actor's Forum they hosted -- huge moment for us! Brianne and her team are amazing. You can really tell they care about the kids and want them to grow, not just as performers but as individuals. They offer so many cool opportunities, from working with professional photographers to connecting with agents. It's also super convenient that you can film auditions right at the studio. Whether your child wants to get into acting or just build more confidence, we definitely recommend checking them out. It's been such a positive and supportive place for our family. read more

My daughter has known since she was 3 years old that she wanted to be an actress. Not a phase, not a whim--she's been relentless in asking me to find her acting classes that weren't musical theatre or play-based, but truly rooted in the craft of acting. We visited a few studios over the years, but she kept telling me, "It's not quite right." And then, thankfully, a friend introduced us to The Performers Academy. From the moment we walked in, I saw it in her face--this was it. She gave me a little nod of approval that said, "You did it." The staff, especially Makenzie, has been nothing short of extraordinary--patient, professional, and deeply tuned in to who my daughter is and the available pathways for her to pursue her craft. They've created a space where she feels seen, challenged, and supported. She looks forward to her class every Saturday with so much joy and purpose. Watching her grow in confidence, skill, and self-expression has been one of the greatest gifts. If you have a child who is serious about acting and you're looking for a place that truly honors that --this is where you go. read more

I cannot overstate how incredible The Performer's Academy is. The instructors and staff are not only incredibly knowledgeable about acting and the industry, but, most importantly, are kind and foster a supportive, nurturing environment for all students. I, for one, greatly appreciate how the instructors encourage all students to support one another and view mistakes as opportunities to grow. The instructors make everyone who walks into their studio (regardless of their background and experience level) feel at home. My daughter has been attending the Performers Academy for several years and we just love the summer camps. It's amazing the quality and caliber of a show the kids can put on it just 5 days time. My daughter makes new friends each time she goes and they stay in contact through the school year until they meet again at another session. I can't say enough good things about the Performers Academy. read more

My daughter has been attending the summer camps here for a few years now and she loves it. She really came out of her shell (no pun intended based on the Little Mermaid show - okay maybe a little) during her performance in Hamilton and hasn't looked back. She has grown not only as a stage performer as a person and great thanks have to be given to Ms. Harper and Ms. Abigail for their guidance, support and exposure to what it takes to put on a great show! Five Stars for sure! read more

I have been taking classes here for about a year, and it has been an incredibly positive and supportive experience for me! All of my interactions with teachers, staff, ownership and other students have been extremely positive. In fact, this place feels like an additional family in my life. My most consistent exposure has been to the monologue class (for older kids and adults) on Wednesdays with Paris. He is an incredibly gifted teacher, actor and person - and I say that comparing him to all the teachers I've had in my life in all disciplines . I can't speak highly enough of him and that class. But I've immensely enjoyed the other classes I've taken there as well (Musetta on Saturdays). I do this only for fun and learning the craft, but it seems like an excellent place for those who wish to act professionally. This industry seems like it can be cutthroat, but somehow I feel a connection to the people here that feels more like community and friendship than a business or transactional. I hope everyone else feels the same as I do. read more

My son has been attending classes here for over a year. We love Mrs Pamela as his instructor - she is patient, experienced, and FUN! My son loves attending her sessions. The prices are reasonable and class sizes are smaller which means more individual attention. The class focuses on more than just monologues and acting per se. The class is also beneficial for those of us who want our children to be comfortable speaking in front of audiences/giving presentations, providing introductions, voice intonation, etc. as they progress in school. Great life skills are learned! Also, Brianne and Valentina are very flexible and helpful with scheduling. read more

This academy is top notch! I took a leap of faith to help my daughter enter into the world of acting. The moment I walked into The Preformers Academy, I was met with warm, honest, and supportive people. They truly want to see people succeed, and are all in every step of the way. I feel comfortable sending my daughter there. I know she is safe, and among staff who truly care. My 7 year old son decided he wanted to try acting about a year ago and we tried a few different classes in the area. After his trial class at Performer's Academy, he knew that's where he wanted to stay. He started acting for fun, but soon decided he wanted to be on tv. He's working towards that now by participating in the Actor's Forum that the studio offers. My son loves his teachers, Ms Pamela and Ms Musetta, and all the teachers have impressive backgrounds in the entertainment industry. Everyone who works here has been so helpful and supportive, especially Valentina who I've learned a lot from as I knew nothing about acting. We feel lucky to be part of such a great acting community. read more

The staff Brianne, Barbara, and Miss Harper (teacher) are equally professional and caring. A brilliant after school program that is free to students from all backgrounds to understand and maximise their creativity. Fully qualified teaching artists and time to reflect and grow. Excellent initiative and a great resource for jacksonville's parents read more

Our kids did the summer program based on a friends recommendation. I was not impressed. They appeared to yell at the children continuously. I personally observed them screaming at the kids for doing nothing. Be prepared to spend more money than Listed. You have to buy costumes, tickets to the performance, and special shoes, and the like. The leaders are rude and condescending to parents. Not a great experience. read more
