Very disappointing experience…read more I had a really unpleasant interaction with an employee named Angelica at the front desk. She was handling check-in/appointments, and from the beginning she seemed to be in a bad mood and took that frustration out on me even though I had done nothing wrong. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, especially in a busy medical office, but patients shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable or disrespected because of an employee's mood. I left the interaction feeling like I was being treated unfairly for no reason. I hope management takes this seriously and looks into how patients are being treated. I'm not saying someone should be fired over one bad day, but the way I was treated was unacceptable and I don't think it should happen to other patients.

They do offer services to women too and she said it's quicker and more convenient to get it done here versus elsewhere. When we walked in, it was around lunch time and there were like 6 individual chairs, each facing 6 different doors and with one guy in each chair. So in a normal doctor's office, it's usually like a waiting area with chairs and couches facing each other and a television hanging from the ceiling, so to walk into this set-up was kind of awkward and of course the chairs are facing the entrance. We walked in and I jokingly muttered under my breath, I'm here for my testosterone shot, because all of the guys were looking at us with that, "WTF is she doing here?!" look and it definitely looked like we broke the bro code. The girls at the front desk were very nice and let us know it would be a few minutes and it really was! We were in and out of there within 15 minutes, even with a full house of dudes! It's cool to see guys have a place to go and do their self care. I guess this would be a great father's day gift or just general gift for a guy that's out of the box.

So I went on our good ol' Yelp and found this wonderful urgent care. Everything about this experience - the first phone call with Gabrielle, her care, concern and professionalism; her being on the ball and so efficient( btw she is a US Navy Veteran)- this set the tone for a great and calming visit. Dr Cho was incredible. Very personable, cool, related to me and was just so very thorough as he covered every possible avenue and took his time treating me, testing my reflexes and my areas of concern. He was very thorough. He showed me and detailed all of my x rays. The office was immaculate. Clean and very well organized. I had explained to the doctor that my back had been injured for over 2 weeks so he prescribed 5mg of Flexeril for 10 days. After taking this and staying away from the gym for 6 days, there was ZERO improvement. The medicine wasn't doing a thing for me. So i called them to see if they could switch up my muscle relaxant and they said I'd have to come in again. WHAT! I was literally just there for the same exact problem and you want me to return?!? They just want another reason to bill my insurance, as if my first copay wasn't high enough. My advice- if you can wait for your primary doc- WAIT! OR find an urgent care where they really want to help and not just collect on insurance.
