Went to this place earlier today to get my one of my favorite duffle-bag fixed. It's a pretty durable bag and the zipper was stuck beyond belief. It was not a one-person job, so I took it in earlier this afternoon. They took me in right away and it was honestly a lot to situate and they got it taken care right away. A good handful of talented people here, fixed this right in front of me and it cost me like 30 bucks (if you include like the tip that I left) and the person there was pretty nice. The older lady there was really sweet and there was a lady in the back with bluish hair that was pretty nice; she was quiet and she was working on something intensely in the shop. My seamstress procrastinated on working on my wedding dress. One morning before we were supposed to meet she let me know she was running late for our appointment after the initial alterations were supposed to be completed. I found out she hadn't done any of the alterations discussed at the first appointment and my wedding was 11 days away...Then the next fitting was scheduled she let me know 30 minutes before our appointment she was running late (again) at this point I asked for a reduction in cost to reflect the lack of professionalism and short notice. Magically my dress was "complete" and hour later. We were discounted a measly $15. I went to pick up my dress and she was not there for me to try it on to make sure it fit. I went to a friends house and found out she had missed several layers of my hem, and did not cut the layers smoothly. I brought it back the next day for her to complete it the way it should've been the first time. In the end my dress was wearable but I could've done without the extra stress right before my wedding. I would recommend going elsewhere based on the lack of professionalism and procrastination alone. read more

It's not easy finding 32x31 pants of any brand. I usually end up with 32x30, which is shorter than I'd like depending on the shoes I'm wearing. A few weeks ago, I had taken several dresses in to have them hemmed. They were done promptly and were done correctly. At the time I didn't really feel like it warreted a review because it was a simple service and was done as expected. However, last week, I took in a dress that needed major help. It was a cheap e-bay purchase so I didn't expect it to fit great when I received it from the seller and I got what I paid for. So, I took it in to The Perfect Fit to see if they could help. They basically reworked much of the dress to get it to fit correctly and look nice. I am so thrilled with the results! They did a great job getting the dress to fit well and look flattering on my body (something it definitely did not do before hand). I will refer anyone, who needs alterations done, to them. Had a evening dress altered it was uneven, the wrap around at the bottom of the dress in front was little shorter then the underneath they also pressed the gown and it had little singe marks all over, did not notice it till we were hanging it up at home. They never quoted us a price, when we went to pick it up the dress the alterations cost more then the dress I was floored by the price and said something the nice lady did lower the price some. They are very friendly but get a price quote before hand. read more
