Instead there are lots of higher-end stores ranging from designer clothing to designer cosmetics and designer gadgets. Actually, it's not all second-mortgage shopping here - there are some 'normal' shops too, they're just a bit nicer than most high street equivalents. There are oodles of places to get a snack on the way round, like Starbucks etc. and there is a giant foodhall with choices for the discerning and not so discerning among you. On that note, a trip to Bluewater isn't complete without a trip to Ed's Diner - have one of their awesome burgers and a spectacular milkshake to find out why. Just make sure you eat when you're finished shopping though as you will just about be able to stagger to your car afterwards with the feeling in your belly. If you go at Christmas there are some superb lights outside as you approach the car parks - giant deers are among the best ones, but be warned, it can get super busy there too. Ample parking means it's not such a chore to go and the whole place is big enough that you don't feel crammed in - it's akin to a lot of the big malls in the States, and one of the best shopping trips (if there is such a thing) you can make in this country.

My only advice to people shopping here is NOT to park in the underground car park - they charge extortionate prices to park the car. You are better off choosing one of the outside car parks like Brewer Street.

I like some of their mix and match bikini set's but variety seems to have gone downhill the last couple of years which is a real shame but overall they're good if you're anything like me and wear a different bikini for almost every day of your holiday! I also recently came across their sports bra's too which are a bargain - 2 for £5 I think they were. Sick of paying upwards of £30 for just one these were a great find although I wouldn't recommend for women with larger sized busts. Ok shop if you can tolerate it.

There is also a hippy type shop that sells New Age stuff like poppers, posters and statuettes and a shop that sells models of cars, planes and stuff like that. Unfortunately, a lot of the units stand empty and it gives the place a dilapidated look. If you don't mind the lack of glamour, you'll probably find what you're looking for, seeing as none of the units are particularly big.
