This Place Redefines What a Pawn Shop Is! I've been to a few pawn shops over the years, and let me tell you, this one is on a whole different level. From the moment I walked in, I was honestly shocked. The environment, the layout, the cleanliness, it didn't even feel like a pawn shop. It was one of the nicest retail spaces I've ever been in, period. Super modern, well-organized, and welcoming. The pictures don't do it justice! The customer service was outstanding. Every staff member I interacted with was professional, respectful, and genuinely helpful. No pressure, no attitude, just great people who clearly care about their customers and take pride in their work. One thing that really stood out to me is that this place is veteran and family owned, and you can absolutely feel that in the way they run their business. It's honest, respectful, and has that personal touch you rarely find these days. On top of that, the deals were unbeatable. I found exactly what I was looking for (and a couple of things I didn't even know I wanted) at prices way better than retail. The selection was solid, and everything was clean, clearly priced, and well taken care of. This place completely changed how I think about pawn shops. If I had to describe this pawn shop in one word it would be...PHENOMENAL!! I have been dealing with this pawn shop for over 5 years and I would NOT go to any other pawn shop. The staff that work here are amazing...Jacob and Calen are the best But the main person that I would recommend anyone to go see is the manager, Chase Brandt. He has been the greatest part of all of my dealings with this shop. He is kind, understanding and fair. He knows a lot about pretty much everything from jewelry to tools. His dad, Doug Brandt, is the owner and when I first started going to this shop both of his kids worked there and I was so impressed with their knowledge and kindness and respect for any customer that walks through their doors. It's really impressive these days to meet kids of the younger generation who have obviously been raised right!! They have ALWAYS been there to listen to me whether it's something positive or negative. I have trusted them with all of my personal jewelry (which having my trust with items that belonged to my Mom or gifts from relatives is rare). They have always worked with me during my good times and bad. And with the world today and how hard it is for anyone to make ends meet I never have to worry about where I know I can go to get a loan for my jewelry or sell it and know without a doubt that it's safe there. The staff there always goes above and beyond to help people out and they will pay top prices for whatever you have to sell or pawn. And that's hard to find in this world these days. So for whatever your needs may be I would 100% recommend that you go to The Pawn Shop on Cove Road (which they will be moving into the old Aaron's building on Melrose Ave. in October 2024). What a bunch of JUNK. And what made me really angry was I was not thanked for my service. The owner also brings in his huge dog which would scare ladies or kids. It looks like Marmaduke! The gal who didn't thank me should be scolded. I just gave you MONEY. Money is the reason you are in business but you didn't thank me? Why? And I was not satisfied with my purchase. They won't give my money back. Save yourself a hassle and go to another pawn shop. There are some really nice ones in town.!!! read more

I've been going to this pawn shop off and on for 15 years or more. I have purchased items and pawned items. Customer service has been great. The guys are personable. We laugh and talk about various subjects and general family facts. They give suggestions on items and allow customers to try out some of the such as: jewelry, televisions, listen to a CD etc. I have no complaints. Will continue to recommend them. They are a business and need to make some type of profit to stay. Kroger's, Food Lion, Belks, Carrabas, Pennys, Target, 7-11, Logans and many others have regulations to go by and are in business to make money as well. Pawn shops have theirs. Either you go there and do business or not. It's the customers choice. read more
