Dad said so long and he didn't have to wear a suit, he was happy and mom just wanted to enjoy the day with all us kids and not have to stress about cooking and cleaning up. The food was easy: We ordered catered BBQ with pulled pork, BBQ brisket, beans, cole slaw and cornbread. We knew we wanted a bartender too. One who was professional but also outgoing. Our family are not the quiet, formal or reserved sort of folks. We contacted a couple mobile bartending services but decided on Sarah's Mobile Bartending because from the start it was obvious she knew her business, took pride in her work and had the right sort of personality for our party: Professional but also outgoing and people oriented. We told her there would be about 50 people - Mainly adults and a handful of grandkids all under the age of 12. We planned on beer and cocktails but wanted to have maybe one or two special cocktails and something just for the kids. Sarah really came through for us! She suggested a Belmont Jewel - Bourbon with pomegranate lemonade and Amaretto Sours. The Amaretto Sours turned out to be a real hit with our parents and their group of friends who they'd known since college. For the kids Sarah made strawberry and peach slushies. The anniversary party was a hit! Everyone had a great time - Sarah went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. She arrived early to set up the bar - which looked great, so when our guests began arriving everything was ready to get the party started. My mom really liked the little lighted sign that had the featured drinks on it. It's little extras like that and Sarah asking about the menu so she could suggest drinks that would go well with the BBQ. I would not only recommend Sarah's Mobile Bartending to anyone having a party - I will be booking her for our anniversary party later this fall!

We wanted to interview the person first and go over details. This wasn't going to be possible. We were so lucky to find Barfly Mobile. We met with both of them once and then Chris a week before. Talk about professionalism and personal service--they are at the top of their game. They came early to setup. They served the entire night and cleaned up perfectly at the end. When the night began I asked for a Vodka and Cranberry, she gave it to me. Directly behind me was my Daughter in Law's brother. He decided to get the same drink. She replied "No I don't want to make that for you". She then gives him some peach drink. My son the groom wanted to do a "celebration shot" with his friends. SHE TOLD THE GROOM "NO". I have had two experience in the past with this catering company. First one was back in 2019, they…read morewere hire by my apartment complex to prepare a Mother's Brunch for residents and their mother's. Second one was for my wedding. I decided to go with them expecting the same experience but this was not the case at the end. My husband, fiancé at the time, and I went to the testing, Jennifer took care of us and we expressed our menu was going to be pork-free and it was reflected in our options, chicken and steak. About a month before the wedding they changed the contact person as Jennifer left the company. This cause a great deal of stress in me due to the fact that when I spoke with Maria she seemed that she did not have a clue if what I was talking about, regarding all the menu and specifics, I had already discuss with Jennifer and changed completely the quote adding a good $800 extra to quote. Come wedding day, first, I had nice matching silverware and the team decided to put the metal silverware next to the silver wear. Here the common sense was not used. This clashed with the decor. I remember mentioning to put the silverware next to the food so if people wanted to use those instead of the ones in the table they had the choice. Secondly, the caesar salad had bacon on it and it was pre-made. Once again, I was very explicit about not wanting pork in the menu. Half of my family ended not been able to eat the salad and I found this so annoying as I paid almost $2,400 for the services. Third, the head server approach me at some point of the wedding to ask me about the services and I told her how I was feeling and told her 'not great'. To this day NOBODY from this company has reached out to me for feedback. Needless to say they won't have my business nor recommendation in the future. Lastly, keep in mind it has been almost a full year of my wedding and I still feel strongly about it all.

They catered our son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner 1 week after Hurricane Ian. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. Their staff members, Ice (lead server) and Dunia (2nd server) were absolutely awesome! They showed up on time coming to Venice, Fl from Tampa during very heavy "Ian" recovery traffic. Not only did they impress us with arriving with ample time to set up before guests arrived, they were very personable, happy, enjoyable and extremely efficient in serving and clean up. The food by Affordable Catering was absolutely amazing. The 62+ guests we had were thrilled with the food and service. Everything tasted so delicious, in particular, the Maui Chicken was a HUGE success. We received nothing but raves about the food. Thank you "Affordable Catering" for making our first experience an excellent experience. Marie Bentancourt, my sales associate, was also key in making our event a success as well. She worked very hard at satisfying my needs. She was very conscious of my concerns and had perfect suggestions to satisfy my specific needs. Thank you once again Affordable Catering.
