So bad that I couldn't deal with looking at for 10 years - let alone showing other countries' customs agents everytime I travel. The real likelihood that my photos would get rejected as well made me decide to see about getting a professional photographer to take them. I didn't even care about cost at that point - I just wanted pictures that met the requirements and looked like me. Kevin was quick to reply to my emails about his studio services and suggested I made an appointment which I did for the following afternoon. I showed up at my appointment time, Kevin let me in and apologized for finishing up with a walk-in. No big deal. After only about 2-3 minutes he was ready for me. Let me check myself in a floor mirror first, walked me into his studio, made me feel at ease with his personable and relaxed photog chat got a few shots done in less than 3 minutes. We looked at them and selected the best one - honestly except for the one I shut my eyes on all of them were very good. He printed them, I paid him. Chatted a couple minutes and I was out the door with great passport and CCW photos. The price was almost identical to Walgreens and I looked like me - not an angry old woman with raccoon eyes and a chip on her shoulder (not even close to what I look like in real life!). I was so happy I've showed everyone my photo and everyone is jealous they didn't think of that for theirs! Lol. I will definitely recommend Kevin Newsome Studios for your passport, visa, permit photos - don't try to be slick and go for A cheapy place that doesn't know their stuff and risk hating your photos or worse having them rejected by the State Department. We hired Nil (Patel Creative) to do photography and cinematography for all of our 4 wedding events…read morealmost one year ago. In the beginning, all went very well with Nil. He was responsive and straightforward. Up until after the events. Delays started in getting our photos and videos back. Our highlight video came months later. He went against what was in the contract in terms of deadlines and timelines but we were willing to let it slide to maintain good relationships. He did a good job with our wedding photography, mediocre with editing on our mehndi & reception photography and our pithi and haldi ceremony was done by another contracted photographer that Nil found since he was not available and that was probably the best photography of all. We discussed drone images so many times prior to the wedding, and despite there being adequate time and perfect weather, drone images or videos were not captured and instead images of things we did not want he spent hours on (our outfit and jewelry). When we got our photos and videos we noticed things were missing that we had expected and talked about wanting in our photos/videos. After much going back and forth for several weeks, Nil finally agreed to send us missing video clips (he missed the entire mehndi event even though we paid for it, he missed very critical parts of our wedding as well). However, the worst was yet to come. Before sending us the missing clips, he wanted to force us to sign an NDA that prevents us from writing any bad reviews. So despite us paying for all our videos and photography (thousands and thousands of dollars), he refuses to give us our videos until we sign this NDA. Now it makes sense why he has so many good reviews. Those who want to write bad reviews are unable to because he forces them to sign an NDA to release their products. See attached picture of him requiring us to sign an NDA to release our videos. To this day, I am shocked and so sad that as a bride, I still do not have my complete wedding videography. We spoke to our wedding planner about this and she was also surprised and said this is not the industry norm and will be sure never to recommend Patel Creative to others. We refused to sign the NDA form as that was unacceptable and yet to this day he has not given us the remainder of the photos/videos we requested that were missing from what he originally gave us. Our experience started off good but ended terribly. We highly recommend staying away from Patel Creative. I hope one day he realizes how upset he has made a bride and how he has taken away what is very precious from a bride and groom - their memories.

My family hired Patel Creative to capture and create a video of my cousin's memorial service. We…read morewere very much looking forward to receiving and sharing the final video as many family members were unable to travel to the service because of COVID-19. Unfortunately, the video he delivered was really, really bad. His camera angles were weird and awkward, there was no reframing, heads were chopped off in multiple shots, the camera was shaky, and the exposure was bad. Not to mention there was no audio for half the video. Basically it was just really poor camera work and the editing job was really sloppy too. When Nil was asked to share all of the footage with us so my husband (a professional video editor) could remake the video from scratch, he told my family it would cost an additional $500. As you can imagine, we were all floored that he would try to make an extra buck off a grieving family. I would not recommend working with him. There are so many other talented videographers & photographers who actually care about putting in the effort to capture important moments. He isn't one of them so keep looking.
