She did an amazing job at really listening to what look i was trying to accomplish and even recommended looks that would be most flattering for my facial features. The quality of her makeup and makeup brushes was outstanding. She is very clean and organized. Even when using loose glitter, which is normally very time consuming and messy, she knocked it out like a pro! The end result was so even more beautiful than i imagined. She was able to fulfill my request of a fun night-out makeup look; without it being too much. My makeup lasted all night, even with my oily skin that tends to melt off makeup. I received so many compliments! Overall, my makeup experience with Jen was so much better than any other makeup done by other artists. If i could give her more 10 stars on yelp, I would. I look forward to doing my makeup with her again. I'm hoping in the future she will hold a makeup class because i am dying to know her secrets to making me look and feel beautiful! Her talent and versatility in makeup artistry is unlike anyone i've come across. If you're considering doing your makeup with her, DO IT! You WON'T regret it!

Her attention to detail and professionalism is something that I rarely encounter and I'm so grateful that she cane into my life as a makeup artist. I needed my makeup done for an event, and I was given Jen's number by a friend. She first did an over the phone consultation about a week prior to my appointment. She asked me about my skin, what I was wearing, where I was going, etc. Then the day before, she text me to confirm my appointment! COMMUNICATION When Jen arrived, she was about 10 min early to set up. She proceeded to sanitize all products in front of me, to ensure that I saw & knew everything was clean. Her brushes were also IMPECCABLE! Super extra clean and smelled good when she applied my makeup. PROFESSIONALISM AND ON-TIME During my appointment, Jen was SO easy to talk to. She's actually hilarious! And her timing on my actual makeup was less than 45 min! She is SUPER fast! I used to hate going to get my makeup done at the makeup counters. They would always step away to help customers and I would be there over an hour. PERSONALITY & TIMING RESULTS: I have dry/oily skin & whatever Jen used on me, made me look and feel like J.Lo all day! My skin was glowing, the staying power lasted until 2am (my appointment was at noon), she did exactly what I wanted... actually, even better because she suggested we change a few things to better compliment my eyes & skin and I'm SO glad I listened to her. She also did my mom & grandma's makeup for the event and it was beautiful! I was so impressed that she was able to do all ages & skin types! She is truly a naturally talented & gifted artist. Feeling a bit nervous About taking the plunge, Cheryl talked me through what she was going to do and made me feel comfortable about her ability to deliver. She NAILED IT! She was booked a few weeks out which is always a good sign so I made an appt. A few days before my appt I received a reminder/verification text of my appt which was very helpful. I had very dry and damaged hair and basically gave her free reign with the cut and color choices. She was talkative and kind while highlighting and trimming and the final product was BEAUTIFUL. THANK YOU SO MUCH DEMI! My hair is a beautiful color and the cut was not too much (every woman's dread). I will be back!!

As far as the salon goes, it was clean and bright inside. I had a later appointment so there was nobody there. Great ambiance and had free wifi. Scheduling was streamlined on styleseat.com/i/anniegarcia2 (although there is a $1 booking fee). She communicated any time delays/issues really well and saved me idle time of sitting and waiting. Overall, great place and am very happy to have found a new stylist! Will be back in 8 weeks for a treatment and cut! Also, Dr. Crighton is not afraid to tell you the truth and always has your best interest in mind. Dr. Crighton will tell you whether she would recommend doing something and whether it's going to pay off. If what you have in mind won't work for you, she will suggest alternative. Be sure to sign up for her mailing lists. There are lots of specials throughout the year. Highly recommended!

My husband saw Tangles' name in the local papers' list of business ratings. It was rated number one, so I figured it was a good starting point. I made the mistake of getting my son's appointment time wrong and showed up about 20 minutes late. Naturally, the salon slipped someone else into our slot, but they felt terrible and squeezed my son in anyway. My son was a bit nervous because he did not want the hair cutter to be distracted or rushed. Despite her being distracted and rushed (!), she did a great job. It's been many-a-haircut since my (teenaged) son got a cut that he was this happy with. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. The establishment was clean. The price of a haircut -no shampoo- was $15 less tip. We plan on returning and I will edit this post if necessary.
