After receiving and paying for my services when I went home I noticed how awful my hair actually looked. I asked for highlights and a trim. The lady who did my hair decided she wanted to do different tones in my hair, she also layered my hair when in fact I only asked for a trim not layers especially on curly hair. She totally disregarded all that I had requested and decided to do her own thing on me. I would definitely say I was very unhappy with what I paid for. When I texted the lady and asked for my money back she was a bit aggressive through text and she decided to call me instead of texting. We talked and she agreed to give me half of my money back. Now, I have to pay extra for the horrible job that was done to my hair. Also, the lady who did my hair is the owner of the shop. She's a very friendly person and has great customer service skills. But needs to brush up on her work.

We just moved and I'm VERY weary to new stylists, but she listened to exactly what I wanted which was to grow it out and recommended a really well thought out plan. Every time she cut, she would ask if the length was okay repeatedly to make sure that it was to my liking which I really appreciated (cause hands up to those who have gotten their hair chopped off at a scissor happy stylist). As far as the salon goes, it was clean and bright inside. I had a later appointment so there was nobody there. Great ambiance and had free wifi. Scheduling was streamlined on styleseat.com/i/anniegarcia2 (although there is a $1 booking fee). She communicated any time delays/issues really well and saved me idle time of sitting and waiting. Overall, great place and am very happy to have found a new stylist! Will be back in 8 weeks for a treatment and cut! I'd add before and after pics but I got a very basic dry cut on black hair so it doesn't show much on pictures.

It's a strange place, very small, dark and crowded with furniture and what looked like junk. Be careful there because there's lots of places to trip. There was a woman sitting in the dark corner. As we were coming in, there were sharp words and she was crying. I don't know what the three were arguing about but it was very uncomfortable. Wife's nails looked okay but she didn't like that they were too thick. Then she discovered Danie'l had given her a fungus infection that has been a mess. My hair was wonky, very short but then long and then short again. There's a silver dollar size spot that's almost down to the skin. If he had been honest and just told me he had made a mistake but he didn't say a word. Maybe we got them on a bad day but I wouldn't go back. I don't know if that little area has a separate name but it should be The Black Hole of Calcutta. If it's part of the larger salon, why is it walled off and painted black? Not only was Rheanna kind enough to come earlier than my original scheduled appointment. (I mean early y'all, my original appt was at 8am and when I last minute asked her to wash my hair she came in at 7am to accommodate me!) now y'all know stylist DO NOT do that. Especially where I'm from in Atlanta. So I already was excited and happy with my experience. Then I get there and she washes my 4c hair with no problem and compliments my curl pattern (life changing because usually all I get is complaints about it being too thick and blah blah) The conversation was great, the vibes were vibing, and most important my hair came out BANGING!
