Been coming here for a couple of years. The staff is friendly and Mike the owner runs a great shop. Appointments are online for so they aren't answering their phones every five minutes in the middle of your haircut. Prices are reasonable and I highly recommend checking them out. read more

Skeptical about trying a new barbershop? FEAR NO MORE! This sophisticated/hipster chic barber shop is the one! I will say, hair cuts are on the higher end of the price scale but it's well worth it. The staff is real friendly and extremely welcoming. They even offer free WiFi, a cooler with water, coke products, energy drinks, and for a little pick me up ask for a cold brew(Starbucks who?!) If its your first time, don't be stressed out, every barber has their own particular style and they're quite good at it! My barber, Justin A.K.A. Sunshine, during my first visit spent a good amount of time understanding my specific hair type, my styling techniques/routines and even gave me his professional suggestion. Sunshine is very skilled with scissor unlike most barbershops who just want to butcher your head with clippers. Okay so I thought this place was good but apparently the person who used to give me great haircuts who worked here moved to work in another state recently. And while they're trying to find a job, this place won't give their credentials. I loved this person and their haircuts, they made me feel safe as a genderqueer person coming into a traditionally cis male dominated space. I was recommended to The Parlor by a friend in April of 2016 and I have not been to another barber since. I personally don't live anywhere near Hialeah but I am still happy to drive over every month for my haircut and beard cleanup. Their attention to detail is second to none, the products they use and sell are top of the line, and the on-going training and education the barbers all constantly put themselves through is remarkable. As I'm sitting on this comfy couch, waiting for my husband to get a haircut, it dawned on me to write a review on this barber shop. I can't get over how amazing this place is. For starters, I've NEVER came in here because this is my husbands time to do him & not have me around but let me tell youuuuuu.....I want to start coming more often. The owner and his wife AND employees were so welcoming. I literally felt like I was walking in to my cousins house. So welcoming, such a cozy, calm, feel. The rustic, manly decor in this place is to die for. They have the cutest decorations on the table. I actually want to steal the idea and do it at my own home. Honestly the only barber shop I've ever enjoyed going to. Anyone who was born and raised in Miami, especially the Hialeah area, has probably dealt with a bunch of issues with their barber shop. Ex: Your barber forgetting your appointment, bad cut, or going to the shop to find out your barber got arrested. (I know) I'm happy to say I've never had any issues at The Parlor. The online booking system is incredibly useful, and Mike (my barber there) is always helpful and goes back and forth with me so we can figure out what it is I want to do and how we can do it. I've only had my hair cut by Mike but I've seen other barbers there do your standard barber shop cuts as well as pomps, comb-overs etc, and they're all cool people. They also have a lot of different Pomades (Suavecito, Layrite, Bonafide, etc) and plenty of stuff you might need for grooming. After struggling for a long time to find a barber shop with a good vibe, and a good barber, I'm happy to say I've got both at The Parlor. 5 stars. read more

I usually checkin with sunshine, but all of these guys know their stuff (from hair chemical makeup and maintenance to how to work with your hair to have a kickass style). Keep in mind that despite this being a total barbershop, it is welcoming enough, and sophisticated enough, to have women with beautiful hair come in to get their hair styled. As a result you have the baddest, coolest, and most updated hairstyles you could ever want on top of the most welcoming and knowledgeable staff of men's men anywhere, that is a crew for real. For the past several years, I've been shaving my head bald so I don't really have a go-to barber. That being said, I usually hate getting haircuts because it never comes out the way I want; often to a point of me wanting to shave my head bald when I get home.
