This has always been my default parking location when I have a trip with a long flights. Sometimes I'll catch an Uber but lately the cost of a round trip Uber ride is cheaper than the cost of several days in the parking spot lot. My last trip was a little hairy. I was gone for a week and when I came back, my car wouldn't start. I assumed it was just the battery so I called AAA. In the process, I had to extend my parking time to avoid late fees, so I called up to the front desk and they said they had a jump box and someone could bring it to me. Despite having called AAA already I accepted the offer because it was 1am and I just wanted to go home. Well after a half hour no one from Spot came but AAA came. Unfortunately the young man that came was hot mess. He couldn't figure out how to jump my battery, decided he needed to replace it, couldn't figure out how to get it out and had to call someone else to do it. Mind you, throughout this whole process, no one from spot came and when they did come it was the drive of the transport bus asking how much longer we would be because we were blocking the row. Mind you we were in the last row of the lot for SUV's and it was (at that time) 2:30am. Annoyed doesn't even begin to describe how I was feeling. As if I wanted to be there hanging out in the cold, sleep deprived and waiting for another driver. Definitely not my ideal experience. I did make it out of the lot to meet my Uber at 5am though, so there's that. read more

We've used The Parking Spot for years. It's very convenient and reasonably priced and right across the street from the airport. On our last visit we arrived at 4:30am. The shuttle bus pulled at as we were taking our bags out of the car. The return trip was just as quick & the attendant at the gate offered us ice cold bottles of water. Much appreciated after a long flight. If you fly often, sign up for their email notifications. We just booked them for our next trip the end of September and got a $49 a week special offer. I have used the parking spot so many times when flying out of Buffalo. It is directly across from the airport. I always book online and there's usually a discount code. Upon arrival, I scan the QR and the gate opens. The yellow polka dotted shuttle comes right to our car. The driver helps us load our baggage into the shuttle and it is a super quick drive to airport. Upon returning to the airport, you can go to the shuttle area and it is usually there. One time we arrived at 2am, I went on the app and clicked waiting for pick up. You can also call and it goes to an automated message and the shuttle will come quickly as well. The shuttle was there within a few minutes. Every interaction we have had with drivers and cashiers has always been pleasant. They even offer water upon departure. Our total came to $18.40/day this trip. This is the only place we park when traveling out of Buffalo. I recommend joining their spot club downloading the app. So easy to make reservations. Earn points towards free stays. You also get some good early bird booking savings. From upon entering to the shuttle bus drivers everyone is super nice. No long wait times. Once you enter, she calls the shuttle and they meet you at your spot. You will get a ticket to with your spot number, and upon return you give that to the shuttle driver and he takes you back to your car. The shuttle pick up from airport is directly outside the doors to the left from baggage claim. Seems the shuttles run frequently we have never waited long. But you do have option to notify them when you are ready from the app. read more

Just returned from an 11 day vacation. I left my vehicle at The Parking Spot. When I returned I found plastic around the drivers side door. I reached under the plastic and, sure enough, there's no window. Strangely, there was no broken glass. As I was leaving I spoke to one of the employees and told him that my window was smashed. He said, "Try rolling up the window." So I did and there was the window fully in tact. Apparently I had left the window open before departing for my trip. One of the employees noticed the open window and secured the plastic, sealing out any weather. These folks really do look out for your vehicle when you're away. One night I got back so late, got the last seat on the shuttle, the driver Jonathan P was so pleasant, and you can tell he enjoys his job. A couple of days ago, also was late at night, another driver, JD, was so helpful. He wanted to help me put my suitcase into my truck because he said it was heavy. The shuttle picks you up to go to the airport right from your car, and the shuttle is prompt. The drivers are friendly and help carry your luggage on and off the shuttle. I am incredibly impressed with the high level of service and care of customers that your shuttle drivers show. Friendly, classy and courteous. During a recent brutal snowy stay, not only did your driver get out and clear off my 22 year old daughters car, he waited until her car started before he pulled away. There had been two storms during her stay -- over 4 feet of snow - so it was literally buried! This was her first time travelling solo and you have no idea how kind this was and how much it put her at ease. As parents, it also warms our hearts as we were worrying. I have traveled several times within the last month and as always I try to make sure I have a reservation here. They have been reliable, friendly and helpful. The drivers are always courteous. Once I couldn't get a reservation and had to use another off the airport property which was actually a hotel. They were backed up with parking guests and hotel guests. With the Parking Spot I have never had any issues. I love that I can make reservations via the app, pay with the app and enter and exit with the app. read more

I can't say enough good things about the Parking Spot. Their employees are off the charts sweet and friendly. We encountered three different people and each was an absolute delight. We booked the parking online and it was only $5/day. With a 7am flight out and getting in at 11pm, it was much better than bothering someone for a ride and much cheaper than a cab or car share. Once you park, the shuttle is right there by your car to get you - no walking in the cold. When we got back, we called them when we were walking out and the shuttle was there in under a minute. Did I mention how friendly everyone was? Great service and I felt that my car was going to be taken care of. We went to Miami for a week and came home to our car being taken care of pretty well. You gotta pay for the service but it's well worth it. The shuttle service to the airport and from the airport was terrific. Returned home from a trip to Florida to cold Buffalo on a February night. Need less to say Buffalo weather did not disappoint. My car was covered in ice and snow. Pat our Parking Spot pick up driver warned us about the slippery conditions as we got out of the bus. Much to my surprise he took the time to try and clean off as much snow as possible that had accumulated on my vehicle. He definitely went above and beyond to help us get going. This long term parking facility has gone by a number of different names. When I did travel on a regular basis this is where I parked my car. It has become MUCH better. Recently took a trip with the family. Departure and arrival times were screwy. I had my doubts that staff would actually be available. THEY WERE! The process was so smooth! I prepaid so all I needed to do was scan the code to enter and exit. The attendant told me which aisle to go to and the transfer bus followed us. Amazingly easy! The price - I had an option. Non refundable was like $20.00 cheaper. I did not do this. I still got a great price for 10 days of parking. read more

I did not notice the major dent to my car on the right bumper and right quarter panel on a car I have owned only 6 months. As an update, I arrived at the Buffalo airport at 5:30pm yesterday and waited for a shuttle. After several minutes I decided to call them and make sure one was coming, and the woman stated that she will notify the driver. The shuttle finally came, about a 20 minute wait. As I was waiting for my shuttle, I saw many blue airport shuttles drive by me picking up their customers, which made me think that perhaps I should have parked with them! 20 minutes of waiting after a tiring flight is far too long, I would suggest that this Parking Spot company have 3 shuttles running at peak times, instead of just two, in order to avoid 20 minute waits. Once I was picked up, the shuttle driver was super friendly and told me there was road construction at the traffic light which only allowed a couple of vehicles through each time, so I get it that the extended delay wasn't his fault. When I went to pay, I asked the attendant to make sure the loyalty points were added to my account, she said they could only be added if I had my physical Parking Spot card with me. I could not find my physical card, and I was shocked as I booked this reservation online using my account. Again, I question the usefulness of the online reservation. She told me I could obtain the points by going on the website when I got home. I was given a nice cold bottle of water and I was on my way. read more

I USED to love the parking spot. I park there multiple times each year for YEARS and always gave them great reviews for excellent customer service. BUT today I attempt to book and the rate is 18.50/day. Whether I log in myself and get my "march discount" or as a guest. That is DOUBLE their very recent rate. I just parked there for 5 days in Feb and paid $9/ day. I called the Buffalo location thinking it was an error. Spoke to the RUDEST man who just screamed out that corporate sets the rates, supply/demand, no different than airfares etc. Wouldn't let me get a word in. (Bad hire, because they used to have very considerate employees). He is wrong. Because for 10 plus years their rates never varied much other than the expected slight increase as time went on. Cheaper to take an UBER, or park directly at the airport, so good riddance to the Parking Spot! read more

Had to park here last minute due to no long term parking available at the airport. Stayed for one week. The fee charged was $225.00. I know it would have cost A LOT less other locations around the airport offering parking but all the hotels were full also. I wish I had planned ahead and parked elsewhere. This place really made an early flight much easier. Its 4:30AM. Its pouring rain. No one wants to drive me to the airport. No one wants to pay the outrageous fee for airport parking. What can you do? You pull into this place across the street from the airport. I pull into their parking lot. Had no idea how this worked. The guy at the front window was way too jolly for it being the butt crack of dawn. But he was very helpful and even offered me a newspaper. I thought for sure I was going to have to either stand in the rain or sit in my car praying a shuttle would get me. Before I even pulled in a parking space, one of their shuttle buses followed me. I don't think more than three raindrops hit me before I got out of my car and into their bus. VERY brief ride from their parking lot to my airline's entrance. I blame them for being so early for my flight. Come back home. I forgot to ask where they would pick me up when they dropped me off so I perused the shuttle and taxi lane. I finally saw one their yellow and black cow patterned buses. I stuck my thumb out for a ride. The driver was kind enough to stop but I got a very stern lecture about how he was not supposed to pick me up there and how they get people at the taxi area. Very nice guy though. Talked about my trip and the weather for the whole two minute drive. Pull out of the parking lot and figured the bill would be outrageous. Not the case, 2.5 day parking for $30. Plus they have a coupon on their website which I believe took $5 off. I had to make a left on Gennesse to get back on the thruway. I thought i'd have to pull a U but nope, this place had their own traffic light. Highly recommend parking here for your next trip. read more

We used The Parking Spot at the Buffalo Airport for the first time on 11/10/22 for a 10 day stay. When we returned on 11/21 at 12:30am to pick up our car after a snow storm, we (as well as the shuttle driver Jake) noticed that rear of my car had been hit by a snow plow. There is a gouge going the length of the trunk lid. Jake took pictures and said he would share them with Mike Foley (Manager) in the morning. Mike returned our calls on Tuesday claiming that he didn't hit our car with a plow, nor did any of his other employees or plow services. I asked about cameras on the lot and he claimed there were none. The damage to the car is above the bumper only and is not a dent, but a deep gouge which broke the paint. I asked if he had insurance he said he did and he would submit a claim on my behalf, but said he would not allow them to pay me anything. We later found out he is self-insured. He already seemed to have a speech prepared denying any responsibility with comments like "you can't prove anything" and "if I would have hit your car I would have torn the bumper off". I understand the concept of "park at your own risk" but that would not apply when the damage is done by the staff who manage the lot. Damage was obviously done by a large piece of machinery, probably a plow given he recent snowfall as the damage to the car was a deep and lengthy gouge going the length of the trunk lid, NOT damage consistent with another vehicle running into me as there was no damage below the truck lid. Tough to leave five stars because two 'full' vans passed by me in the freezing cold. Third van picked me up, driver didn't speak or anything. He never even got out of his seat to help us get our luggage on board. He didn't ask which airline nor did he give us the reminder cards for parking spot. When he drove past my airline, I said I needed to get off. He yelled at me to just wait. On my return trip, however, Karl was FANTASTIC! Thus the three stars for him -- should be five, but the earlier experience . . . He was so polite, friendly, and accommodating. He even helped clean the six inches of snow off my car. This was my 3rd time using, my favorite spot closed last year. I fly out of Buffalo 2-3 times a year. This last visit was the end for me. When the van came to the airport, I had to load my own suitcases, no help from driver. When he dropped me at my car, the snow was deep, it was bitter cold, my car doors were frozen shut. He did put my bags in the one door I managed to pry open, then left, without waiting to see if I got into my car, or if my car started, which it almost didn't. Pretty scary being alone, in below freezing temperatures, with a car that may or may not start. And, no water when I checked out, which is an advertised perk. Don't ask your friends and family to drive you to the airport at 3 in the morning. Just drive yourself and park across the street at The Parking Spot. Look for coupons and end up paying only $6-8 per day. You can rely on them to not only get you to and from the airport quickly and pleasantly, but you can look forward to a free newspaper in the morning and a bottle of water when you check out. I love the parking spot and have been using it for years. Since I like to fly first thing in the morning, I don't like to bother others to get up in the wee hours to take my butt there. Instead, I use the parking spot when possible. Usually the process is seamless, drive in, park, and a bus picks you up and takes you to the terminal. Come home, call the bus, it picks you up and you're back at your car in no time. Last night after coming home from Tampa there was a bit of an incident that keeps this rating from a four/five star experience. I had a grumptastic driver. He was confused as to where everyone on the bus was parked and was audibly making it known that he was annoyed. Loud sighs and a 'tude was not what I wanted to be dealing with at midnight after a long trip. That said, the parking was El Cheapo- 3 days, 24 dollars with a coupon I found easily online. You can also usually find at least a 10% off coupon in the Southwest in flight magazine if you forget to print beforehand. Update 8/11/15- Great customer service outreach in response to this Yelp review. Moves the review up to a four. I truly appreciate when businesses take Yelper's comments seriously. Great service... Drove in. ..shuttle bus followed us and waited for us to unload and drove us to the airport... oh and they gave us a paper to read. On the way home, follow the instructions on the card they gave you to find your car.... go to baggage claim area, out the door, turn left walk to the end BUT don't go to the local transit area...just cross the road wait by the white solo bus shelter and the parking spot bus should come by. There's a coupon on their website or 10% off code in the airline magazine. On the way out, they even provided me cold water for the long ride home. Great customer service!!! Living in the GTA of Ontario, I prefer to travel from Buffalo Airport as opposed to Toronto Pearson as the flights are so much cheaper. Since it's about a 1.5 hours away, I certainly can't take a cab or have a friend drop me off, so I need a spot to leave my car that wont cost me an arm and a leg. The Parking Spot is awesome because they tend to always have online coupons that allow you to park for a week for only $50! It's super convenient- the shuttle is very frequent (haven't waited more than 5 mins)-and takes you to/from your car right to the main entrance of the airport. I am travelling by myself or the very first time at 55 and have only travelled 3 other times in my life. The last time was 10 years ago I booked hotel that I thought I could park at for the week at a hotel in Buffalo, but their lot was full. I called around to other hotels and had the same issue. I came across "The Parking Spot". It seemed legit so I booked it. I arrived today and my experience already was awesome. QUICK check in (I had paid in advance), directions easy to follow. I mentioned I would be taking a taxi back to the hotel. They picked me up in their bus the minunte I parked, took me to their shelter. By the time I arrived within minutes they had already called a taxi for me and allowed me to stay inside as it was freezing cold and snowy. Friendly, kind and caring. What an amazing business! This is pretty much the only service I use when parking at the airport. They recently converted from FastTrak to The Parking Spot and not much has changed other than their buses. I find it pretty convenient as I have never had to wait more than 3 minutes for a shuttle. The shuttles are nice (one of the few that has seat belts) and the drivers are always very friendly and helpful. It is a little pricey, but you can find 20% off coupons in most airline magazines or online. They also have frequent parker cards and you can link you card to a credit card and make exiting even faster. They give you free water too for some reason. read more

The issue I have with parking spot is price deception. I looked online and got a price $5/day. The morning of my flight, I went to the facility and parked. When I went to leave I was charged $10/day. I was told by the attendant that you need to reserve online to get the $5 rate. The driver by the way who was also the attendant, was great.
