I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the interaction I had with an employee named Maria today at the Houston Hobby Parking Spot 1 location. On Monday, October 27, I was provided a paper receipt instead of using the usual QR code or app-based entry, as the system was down at the time. Upon returning today, I struggled to locate the small receipt in my purse while trying to exit the lot. I pressed the call assistance button several times and also attempted to reach the location by phone using the number connected to the app. Unfortunately, Maria did not answer. After about 15 minutes, I located my paper receipt and successfully used the QR code to exit the first gate. However, there was a second exit gate, and I misplaced the receipt again while searching through my bag. I continued to press the call button for help as cars began to line up behind me, and I even backed out of the lane to allow others to exit since it was busy and I did not want to hold up traffic. When Maria finally came out, I attempted to explain the situation -- including the delay, the system issue earlier in the week, and my difficulty locating the paper receipt. Rather than assisting me professionally, she responded in a passive-aggressive and dismissive manner, questioning why I didn't keep better track of the receipt. I politely explained that I normally use the QR code through the app without issue, and as a frequent traveler (I'm on the road nearly 50% of the year for work), I have always valued the convenience and reliability of your service. Maria continued to argue with me and stated that she "did not know how to work the system" and that I needed to find my receipt again. When I finally located it and handed it to her, I asked for her manager's contact information. She refused to provide a phone number and only gave me a name -- Hakeem -- and stated that I could "try Monday through Friday" to reach him. After exiting the location, I called the number again, and Maria finally answered. She recognized my voice and repeated that she did not know her manager's schedule. I am extremely disappointed in how this was handled. I spent a significant amount of time stranded at the gate pressing the call button for help while Maria, who I could see inside, appeared to ignore my calls. Only when I reached the final exit gate did she come out, and her tone was unprofessional and discourteous throughout the interaction. As a loyal customer and frequent traveler with your brand, I expect a higher level of professionalism and responsiveness. I've used Parking Spot several times (both lots 1 and 2) for their cheap rates and occasional promotions. Never had significant issues that would deter me from using them again. Special thanks to the staff last week for helping me retrieve my keys. I unfortunately did not realize that I left them on the shuttle until after I boarded a plane. I called them immediately after landing, and it took less than 5 minutes to confirm that they will be holding my keys for me until I come back. When it was time to return to the lot, Jeanette was very considerate and waited for me to retrieve my keys at the booth before letting me hop back on. When I arrived back at the Hobby airport around midnight, I noticed that two shuttles for lot 2 came out before one did for lot 1. There was no line for lot 2 and a long one about 20-25 people deep waiting for lot 1. People in the back had to wait for a second shuttle... can't imagine how long that would've taken since I waited 10 minutes for the first shuttle. I recommend booking lot 2 from now on. read more

If you have ever used a coupon with other entities, this one is different. It said...make a reservation. I did....It kept saying..you need to pay..I did not. I was not clear on how it worked. Being "mature" I am not accustomed to the new world of zero customer service. When I've bought other groupons...I simply presented them at the attendant and paid the difference. NOT so here...so don't buy the groupon if you are not literate in the ways of a NO service establishment. Because there is "NO service". so, I threw away some money and will never never never use their services again. I phoned groupon and they said...call the parking spot...I did and got no assistance. The entire process is computer or cell phone driven. So, I readily admit...I'm not up to date on the use of their system. I'd sooner pay Ecopark at the window. There must be a reason Ecopark is booked months out...because it's better. Again...if you can't follow the system...stick with a regular lot where you can speak to a human being. read more

We purchased our parking through "Groupon". Paid what we thought was in full, and traffic was a lot lighter than expected. We got there 40-45 minutes early, checked in and parked. Went on our trip and had to pay an extra day on our way out. I called the customer service number and spoke with Ericka. She was so polite, understanding and professional. She issued a refund for the additional charge immediately!!! We ALWAYS use this parking and shuttle service for our trips. Lots are clean and safe!!! The shuttle drivers are always so helpful!! Our most recent parking service at the Hobby #1 facility was our best service. We had covered parking near the entrance and we were picked up immediately when a Parking Spot vehicle entered the facility and we were at the terminal within 15 minutes. Upon our return we only had to wait another 15 minutes for a Parking Spot vehicle and we were back to the facility within another 15 minutes, dropped off, and exited within another 10 minutes. They lack even the most basic customer service. 1. You have to hail down a ride to the airport and it could take 20-30 minutes 2. The drivers do not identify themselves and refuse to give you their names upon request. 3. The drivers will not help you load or unload your luggage. 4. Your complaints will be ignored by management 5. I filed 3 complaints with corporate and was not refunded. If you can avoid Parking Spot, park somewhere else. The Spot (#1 location) at Houston Bush international sucks A$$ and caused us to miss our flight. Add another hour and 10 minutes to your estimated travel time to the airport if you arrive during shift change at 6AM. They used to be real good but something happened. We got there at 5:55 am and waiting to be picked up next our car. Within 5 minutes, a shuttle came by and picked up people but it filled up and they said another shuttle was on it's way. 30 minutes later we called and they said they were on shift change but will pick us up soon. 30 minutes later a shuttle came by and picked us up, the people on the shuttle were not happy because they were also waiting for a long time. If that was not bad enough, the driver dropped us off at the passenger pick-up area....WTF..... I got to the ticket counter at 7:10 am, too late. had to book another flight for 7 pm that night and took an Uber home and back to the airport while I left my car at the Spot. If you enjoy spending extra money, wasting time and lifting your pressure relief valve due to increased blood pressure, this is the place to go and they will not disappoint. read more

The "change" is HORRIBLE!!! I used Park N Fly (IAH- JFK) last week since the "change" with The Parking Spot. 1. The drivers are RUDE, didn't help me with my bag getting on the bus or off ( I ALWAYS) gave tip but not this time. 2. Driver drove like no one was on board....speeding, hitting bumps 3. Pickup was CONFUSING ....I stood at pickup, but no one STOPPED!!! I didn't even look my way. Finally, I waved a driver to stop, and she opened the door. I presented my ticket and proceeded to tell me she's not my bus without explaining why and closed the door. Huge mistake Parking at the Parking Spot 1 near Hobby. We watched #2 Bus roll on by 7-8X while we waited almost one hour with 18 other customers for our bus to finally show up. This was Feb 13th. Their app showed one bus sitting at a gas station down the road for 55 minutes before it finally moved to come pick up people. What was that dude up to? The other bus drove around in their parking lot for a bit and then parked for 25+ minutes. Several regulars waiting said this happens often with Number 1. This review is specifically for the driver Adrian P! I was very upset with how his driving was. Now I hate to leave 1 start because every time we travel we park at one of the parking spot locations usually parking spot 1. This is our second time getting on with a baby. First time he was in my arms (8months) second time still 8 months and it was late so he's sleep in his travel stroller. Adrian clearly saw we had the baby because there was only 4 other riders.. HE was SPEEDING, Swerving through construction as if we was rushing. It's 12:30am not busy as all. The bus was jumping and honestly the adults were holding on because of how rough the ride was! As a new mother I wanted to yell at him during the ride to remind him to drive carefully and safely .. instead I waited until we made it to our stop and asked him to please be more cautious of how he's driving especially since there's an infant on board. His response "OK" very dry. That also did not sit well with me. I told him that was not okay and I would be leaving a review. His response should have been "I'm sorry about that" Very unpleased with this last service I received. UPDATE!! 4/7/24 The manager called me and sounded sincerely concerned and said action would be taken. I decided to give 4 stars now because although Adrian deserves 1 star the company as a whole does not. I appreciate how the manager handled the situation and reassured me action will be taken to prevent this from happening again. Do not use the parking spot if you are looking for an actual ride to the airport. As far as I can tell, it is just for parking and you should walk to airport. No busses will show up. We finally had to leave a park at the terminal. Almost missed flight. And it was only $20 more dollars for a 5 day park at terminal over parking spot prices. read more

I rented a Turo that used their second lot on Will Layton as the designated pickup and drop off spot. The QR that my Turo host provided made with made check in and out easy. The shuffles were timely (Less than 5 min wait both ways) and the staff went out of their way to be very friendly. read more

NEVER..... NEVER.....NEVER prepay for the parking at the Parking Spot. I tried to cancel my parking reservation due to the Hurricane hitting Florida and was told since I " Pre-Paid" I get no refund. Had I NOT pre-paid it would have just gone away. I am not a big customer I only stay about 45 times a year and have for the past decade and I am ONLY a Gold status member, so at $14.00 a stay and I average 45 stays a year I am only a $600 a year customer. This was my experience at IAH last Thursday night ( 9/25 ). Let me say first that I had no problem with the driver of the Van or the woman that greeted me and directed me to my parking spot when I checked in on Monday at the JFK lot. My bad experience started when we arrived at IAH on Thursday night. We made our way down to the pickup area and noticed an extremely long line for the JFK bus but very few people waiting for the Will Clayton buses. I watched 5 buses in a row pull up for the Will Clayton lot and each bus only had 2 or 3 people passengers waiting. I also saw quite a number of buses pull up from other lots and we were still waiting. After an extremely long wait a JFK bus arrived . There were already so many people in front of my wife and I that we had to wait for the third JFK bus to arrive. I know that it was very busy that night but I was thinking that some of the Will Clayton buses could have been re-routed to the JFk routes which would have greatly lessened the wait times. I'm wondering why the dispatchers don't have that flexibility. I don't travel a lot but when I do I've always used The Parking Spot. I'll be traveling again in November and am now wondering if I might be better off using another company. I come in from West Houston and the Will Clayton lots are not convenient for me. read more

The Parking Spot has been a great place to park. I've used them on my last 4 trips. One of those times it was for 3 weeks. The rates are reasonable. The customer service that I've encountered has been stellar and the drivers are courteous. I've found that if one arrives a couple hours early, there's less time pressure and fear of missing the plane. We have always used The Parking Spot on Will Clayton in Humble, Tx #1 & #2. This time around, we waited for more than an hour to even see 1 bus for Will Clayton #1 as JFK and Will Clayton #2 buses passed by every 4-5 minutes. It was unreal and completely unacceptable. Unl8trortunately, your recollection of events isn't quite accurate as you've left out a few details. As you recall, you could not locate your reservation on your phone to scan when exiting--you simply demanded to be let out without us being able to locate your transaction due to not having your information available. Please keep in mind, the gate arm, nor Cashier knows if you have Pre-Paid or not without due diligence and gathering a little more information to look your transaction up. We do not condone nor want returning Guests who are belligerent calling us "Crooks or Pricks," because you appeared to be having a meltdown--perhaps due to being low on gas and needing the cigarette lit that was in your hand. Long story short- if you park here just know it's unorganized, their system of how the pick up passengers sucks and you will miss or BARELY make your flight waiting for them to pick you up. This parking spot has to do something to get more organized. The current pick up system completely neglects any customers who park in the front as every single bus makes a full circle and begins picking up passengers from the very back, making the busses full by the time they arrive to the front. The drivers will drive right past you, without even an update as to when someone will get you.
