This is just one of few other SP+ Parking lots across from First United Methodist Church. You may see it as Church Lot at 1400 Travis Street on Downtown Parking Directory. The entrance is at 1421 Milam Street, across from another SP+ properties. Ain't it cool? Just a short walking distance to MetroRAIL's Bell Station on Main Street if you didn't want to walk up and down the boulevards. I normally walk about a mile to Hermann Square at City Hall, Tranquility Park, Sam Houston Park and the Houston LGBT Pride Parade. It's very important to know the direction of parade route and find correct exit and get on the freeway without getting stuck with street closures. As many parking lots in Downtown Houston operate, the prices drop on weekends. The machine accepts both paper and plastic - dollar bills and credit cards. **45th review of 2018**

A few of us (didn't know one another) parked on Y, because the way the lots separate... we were confused on where Z started. Sonya drove to Z (rolled her window down) then started yelling across the spots that we were suppose to be parked behind where we were... there were about 30 open spots surrounding. I told the family next to me, but they were already walking over towards the bus. Once we got to the bus Sonya started scolding us! We weren't even seated, we were all still holding our carry ons. She didn't even Ben offer to help bring them on the bus. I asked her "please stop talking to me." In which she then threatened to kick me off & that I could "wait for the next bus." I responded with "all I asked was that you stop talking to me." The family (who was traveling with a small child) was half way in the door while this interaction was taking place. She KEPT going & I kept asking her to stop speaking to me. She then said "you can get off with the attitude." I said "you are the one with the attitude. You have been yelling at us since we were outside." She then told me to stop talking back. Which caught me off guard, because I'm an adult & she was talking to 2 other adult the same way. The other family was attempting to understand exactly where Z was while she was going off on us & that's why I asked her to stop. She then told the lady in the radio "apparently Y is Z today" which was unnecessary, because it was a mistake made by multiple people. She didn't even hand out our green tickets to where we parked. So now 3 families will have to explain to the pick up driver where they parked. Luckily we'll remember since we were yelled at about it at 10:15am.

Oh, The Galleria! My ex-husband is from Houston and I've…read morebeen to The Galleria many, many times. In fact, I started going long before I knew my husband. My dad also lived in Houston and we'd often do shopping or eating at the mall. My daughter (who is now 30) loved (& still does) skating at the ice rink during the holidays. It's a magically fun experience. The Galleria is always incredibly decorated for the holidays. I still get to Houston 1-2 times a year and always enjoy visiting The Galleria. The Galleria itself has not only the ice rink but office space, two hotels, lots of places to eat, and shopping. The retail offerings range from shops like H&M, Macy's, and Nordstrom to high-end luxury shops like Gucci & Chanel. We were there just a few months ago and it was just as fun and exciting as my first visit! Gang, there are so many stores here. Like crazy amounts (a few hundred). With only about an hour before leaving Houston, our shopping mission was more of a speed run than a leisurely browse. Even without scoring any purchases, the Houston Galleria remains an impressive destination. The moment you step inside, you experience bright lights, multiple levels of stores, and a steady stream of shoppers that create an energetic, bustling atmosphere. Beyond shopping, the mall offers entertainment options such as its iconic indoor ice-skating rink, making it easy to spend an entire day there. One of the Galleria's biggest strengths is its variety. Luxury retailers like Chanel and Louis Vuitton share space with more accessible brands such as Banana Republic and American Eagle, offering something for nearly every budget and style. Whether you're on a focused shopping mission or simply window-shopping, there's plenty to explore...even if, in our case, we left empty-handed. The dining options are equally diverse, ranging from food-court favorites to sit-down restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory and Shake Shack to Chic-fil-a. While we didn't find the bargains we were hoping for, our fast-and-furious shopping adventure was filled with laughter and great conversation, and the kind of fun that comes from spending time with good friends. Sometimes spending quality time with friends is the best find of all.
