If I could rate them 0 stars, I would. I never have the time to voice my complaints or deal with…read morethem, but I'm fed up and ready to move out. I'm leaving this review in hopes that this company feels the consequences of their actions and doesn't have tenants until they do better. Most of my building has already moved out, and I can't wait to join them. As soon as we moved in, I asked to relocate because the unit was too small for us. We were told we couldn't move until we waited six months and paid a fee. When we finally moved, we were placed in a unrenovated unit, even though we had repeatedly asked to be placed in the correct unit. However, first they placed us in the wrong unit entirely and then offer another unit. The new unit was filthy, untouched, and only half-renovated. We had to replace light fixtures, outlets, and other small things ourselves because mold and fungus were literally growing out of them. This was the better of the situation. I wonder when we move out will they give us our money back for what we had to fix and replace ourselves in a "already renovated unit". We didn't even have hot water and had to submit multiple maintenance requests to get it fixed. I wish I had taken pictures, but I was too exhausted by the situation and focused on fixing everything since we were stuck. We couldn't find another apartment complex to move into immediately. The management offered to cancel our lease that day, but where were we supposed to go? I should have taken them up on the offer, but we decided to tough it out. Since then, mold has constantly poured out of the siding of our shower. Utilities are outrageously expensive--good luck getting your monthly utility bill under $300. On top of that, my car was broken into, and one morning, I was surrounded by the FBI raiding our building because of our neighbors (who, by the way, still live here). To make matters worse, radon mitigation systems were randomly installed without notice or explanation. When I asked about it, I was told, "We don't have to tell you the details." Clearly, there's an issue. I asked if they gave a proper notice of the issue, they said yes, but then emailed our neighbors and said it wasn't their unit and that it was someone else's unit with a problem. But no one received any notices of anything. I'll attach those emails to this review. I have also reached out to the Health Department for this issue considering our neighbors and I have both been sick already and my neighbors being elderly and already using an oxygen tank. Coincidentally they have to use more oxygen since moving here. Our AC has gone out twice so far, and I'm sure it will go out again because it's constantly leaking onto the floor. The air filter is always wet, which I'm sure is great for us to breathe in. I've been sick for almost a month now, with no answers. It's either radon or mold--whichever the case, I cannot wait to never have to deal with this unit or this management company again. I'm pretty sure our neighbors directly next door didn't have AC the entire summer if not most of the year. They've just moved out recently as well. Also, good luck getting anyone on the phone. They try their hardest to avoid all calls, no matter the problem. Just save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to put your money towards, because this place isn't it. Read all reviews and believe them.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with an apartment complex. I will give it to the…read morestaff, they were always SO nice to me, but with that said, it took threatening to put my rent in escrow for the higher ups to really take action on my complaints. I had two mice in my apartment- two different times mind you. The first time, I called emergency maintenance to which they told me that they couldn't do anything and that my cat would be better at catching the mouse then they would be. They came the next morning, stated they didn't know how it got in and I MUST have let it through the front door when I came in....HUH!!!!! The mouse was also no where to be found that next morning. A couple weeks later, a mouse had entered my apartment AGAIN!!! Guess who found and killed the mouse...MY DAD!!!! And guess what I found the next morning how they kept getting in...an open dryer vent!!!!!!!!!!! They finally came and sealed and replaced the vent. No more mice. BUT THEN!!!! I struggled with bugs the whole time living there. I just figured it was because I lived close to the pond. But no. I could NOT get rid of these bugs. People would come spray, I would spray, I had traps everywhere, and still I could not keep food on my counter without my counter being covered the next day. My final straw was when I watched on my ring camera and heard the lady from bug company say they weren't going to spray since I was home (mind you permission was given to enter AND she wrote a letter back to the LC that she sprayed). I got home, looked around and say thousandssssss of ants (flying ants too) pouring out of an outlet. I wish I could post the video to really show what it looked like but pictures are below. I threatened escrow with the quickness, which got the LC to reschedule someone else to come out, accompanied them while they inspected and trust me, I made sure I was home as well (along with my dad and brother to ensure there was an answer given as to why my apartment was always covered in bugs.) Sure enough, we got the answer that my walls were infested with ants and they had to put holes in my walls to kill all of them. That did the trick!! BUT I lived with holes in my walls for 6 months because no one ever came back to fill them despite requesting them to do so twice. OH and mind you, their only other option when I said I needed to put my rent in escrow or break my lease to get out of this horrible place- they wouldn't let me without paying an arm and a leg. I could either break my lease and pay insane fees OR could move to a different apartment and they would waive the moving fee but they wouldn't keep my current rent rate which meant I was going to have to pay $200+ each month in rent until my lease was up-which would have added up because at the time my lease wasn't up for another 6 more months. This may have been a rare experience, but it is too insane to not share.

Edit: 01/07/2026…read more After sending an email to the community management, we received an email (summarized here) from the senior community manager: * Car break-ins are common crimes of opportunity locally and nationwide. * Security is not onsite at all times, and response times vary based on urgency and call volume. * A community message will be sent with tips to reduce vehicle break-ins. * Best prevention advice: remove all valuables and keep nothing visible inside vehicles. This is inadmissible, irresponsible, and frustrating. Instead of offering real measures to prevent insecurity in the community (highlighted by residents in Google reviews over the last 6 months), they are basically saying this is the situation and there is nothing else they can do apart from asking us not to leave valuable things in the car. When we said that this is concerning, as whoever broke into a car can break into a home, their response was: "At this time, we have not received any reports of apartment break-ins." This is ridiculous, as you cannot just wait until it happens. The deterioration of safety and security implies taking real measures by management to prevent crime in the community. We have also tried to reach out to the senior manager by phone and asked her colleagues to call us back, but they never did. 01/06/2026 Our car was broken into yesterday while parked directly in front of our unit. The door was opened, and personal documents were thrown across the front seat. We immediately called security and filed a police report with the Columbus Police Department. Security did not arrive immediately; they arrived one hour after we called. This is really concerning because we have been reporting untagged cars and security issues for months with no action taken by management. I have also seen a neighbor's Google review reporting the same type of incident around the same time, which shows this was not an isolated case. We do not feel safe in this community.

Before I moved to Sunbury Ridge, I completed an EXTENSIVE search of suitable options. The main…read morethings I was looking for was the distance from my job (downtown) and Easton, polite and friendly individuals in the leasing office, cleanliness and low noise level. This place meets all of my expectations. The staff is beyond friendly and extremely helpful, especially Jim and Chelsea. They always go above and beyond to help you out in any way they can. They have always been so nice and helpful. If they don't know something, they will ask and get back to you the next day. The neighborhood is quiet and anyone I've encountered has been friendly. I really don't hear too much from my neighbor above me. Once in a while I hear something, but I always have peace and quiet. The area is clean and if there is anything of concern, they quickly send friendly reminders to everyone. I'm terribly afraid of mice and that was another concern of mine, living so close to the woods, but I haven't had any rodent problems at all. I love the look of the interior. The one bedrooms will be getting makeovers. There is ample parking. There are events within the neighborhood here and there, which are pretty fun. I've lived here for almost a year and I've only had two work orders. Maintenance came the very next day, both times. My only complaint is the windows are pretty drafty. When the temperature drops it can get pretty cold, which means you have to increase the heat. I bought some Duck brand, plastic installation kits, so hopefully that will help. It also may take a while to receive a mail key. I've been here 10 months and I have yet to receive one, but that is the fault of the post officers Innis Road. I've made so many trips to the post office and spoken to many mail carriers, to no avail. I literally stalk them on Saturdays just to get my mail. That is just my experience. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!! I love living here.

Read the reviews about excessive charges after the lease ends, they are legit! I received a bill for over $600 with outrageous expenses included. I was charged for rent due to unclear and vague communication about key drop off, something completely out of my control. There was nothing in writing about "lockbox" drop off of your keys and I believe that is intentional. They gave me more bogus charges that I was able to argue with photographic evidence. I spoke with Rosemond and Kacie about this matter and Rosemond mentioned the drop off once more after that rent charge was removed, which I find rude and unnecessary. I still feel there are charges that need to be removed as I received an additional invoice that I find questionable. I rarely write negative reviews because I work with businesses and know how impactful reviews are but this is necessary. Make sure you take pictures and keep record during your time here because you will get charged after move out. Regardless if charges are legitimate or not. During my time here there was a maintenance request that was never finished, another time my shower water was left running after a shower repair, also muddy boot stains left in my shower once the service request was done. I got a toilet replaced without a lid that properly fit the toilet and the toilet was dirty. Appliances in units that are not renovated are old and break down easily if they're not already broken when you move in. Because my unit was so affordable and I felt safe living here, I let some things go. Regardless of what their response to my review is, my review is legitimate and truthful and I left nothing out. I was a good tenant and never had issues with management/office staff before. It's a shame that they do this to tenants after moving out. Make sure you know your rights as a tenant.

My wife and I scheduled an appointment to view a 1 bedroom apt for a mid-to-late July move-in date. When we get there they disclose to us that they have no 1-bedrooms to show us at this time but they can show us a model of a 2-bedroom (bait & switch #1). After seeing the 2 bedroom/2 bathroom, they said that they had a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom with a walk-in closet. As my wife and I need closet space, we agreed to the 2 bedroom/1 bathroom w/ the walk-in closet. We put down a $50 non-refundable deposit to not only secure that apartment but receive a special rate of $600 off our 1st month's rent or $50 off our monthly rent for the first year. The next day, we were approved for the apartment. My wife reaches out to Meika to make arrangements to sign the lease the following day only for her to tell us that the apartment that we put the deposit on was no longer unavailable and that they had a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom that her property manager would be able to give us for the same rate because of their mix-up (bait & switch #2). After sleeping on it, my wife and I decided to give the complex one more chance. So she calls the office to schedule a visit to see the apartment only for the property manager Angie to tell us that in order to receive the special discount, we would have to move in immediately or pay full price if we were to move-in mid-to-late July (bait & switch #3). I refuse to stay in a place where these type of deceptive and possibly unlawful tactics are used. Thank God we didn't sign the lease. Only the Lord knows what may have happened once they had us contractually bound for a year. So now I am out of the non-refundable $50 and my wife and I are still looking for an apartment. Thank you for wasting our time and money.
