Review: I moved in…read moretwo days ago, and I'm already unimpressed with this apartment complex that claims to be "luxury." Having lived in several other complexes before, I've never been this disappointed so quickly. The leasing agent, Sha'Aaliyah, can't even seem to meet basic expectations. I understand that mistakes happen, but the issues here feel like a constant snowball effect. First, she forgot to give me my mailbox number. Then, she handed me a faulty key fob that wouldn't even let me into the building. I stood outside struggling to get in and had to go back to the leasing office to get it fixed. Unfortunately, that was just the beginning. Sha'Aaliyah gave me the wrong Wi-Fi password--which is frustrating, especially since they require all residents to use community Wi-Fi instead of giving us a choice. I work from home, so not having immediate internet access is a major inconvenience. To make things worse, the apartment itself was not properly cleaned or inspected. I found mice droppings and a hole that suggests an entry point for the pests. The cabinets were dirty, as if only minimal effort was put into cleaning the unit. Another issue was registering my car for a parking pass. I reached out to Sha'Aaliyah two days before move-in for help with the process, but she didn't follow up until the day I moved in--putting my car at risk of being towed. On top of everything, the lack of communication about building access is unacceptable. They never explained how the call boxes work, and everything in the building requires key fob entry. While moving in, I saw a DoorDash driver use a code to get in, holding the door open for others. Curious, I asked Sha'Aaliyah how to use the call box and was told that entering my apartment number should trigger a call to my phone--but it didn't work. Even after asking other residents, no one knew how it was supposed to function. At least Amazon seems to have a fob for deliveries, but that doesn't solve the issue for guests or service providers. I'm not someone who nitpicks, but I feel forced to now, as I've essentially had to act as my own leasing agent just to get things sorted. I've lived in both luxury and non-luxury apartments, and for the amount I'm paying here, I expected a much better experience. I know leasing offices are capable of providing smoother move-in experiences, but this was far from it. Honestly, I feel discriminated against in the way I've been treated, and after just two days, I'm already counting down the days until this lease ends.

Make sure you get a tour of the apt you are renting not look at the pictures they show on line its…read morethe office apartment. Yes they are trying to make it look better . But it's a long ways to go . Really think if you want to live here . Yes they do have a lot of problems . More ways then one . Our family has lived here for 12 years gone through 2 management this is the third the first one was awesome. Second took a awhile to get things fixed now this one comes in like a roaring lion looks great and friendly . The manager Alexis nice but she expects your apt to look spotless no clutter well we have containers from second management from spraying but nice and neat . She said can't have. Not even in bed rooms. We where given 10 days notice to get ride of or eviction then a note that they where going to spray our apt and several others and had to put stuff from bed room to living room . They came in to do it and she said we where in violation of the 10 day she gave us its a catch 22 also my husband is disabled HAS rights and my son disabled and his wife and two kids lives with us in a three bed room dr appt and procedures its hard to do stuff but our place is clean no trash . So how are we in violation if we are doing what was asked to spray as well as the other apt . I don't get it . It's 12 years of living nice and neat . And my son just got a letter handed to him from the maintenance man cause my son caused at her and in front of the spray people and that was in violation of our lease which I am the only one on cause I have a copy which was signed in Nov.. she is telling us how to live in our own place . Karma is a bitch Alexis McCormick manager .. thanks for reading .

Brad Dever: Defender of Packages, Protector of Residents…read more If there were an Olympic event for missing packages, Brad Dever would have the gold medal, the endorsement deals, and probably his own commemorative postage stamp. I've had a few packages mysteriously disappear into the great apartment-complex abyss, and Brad has been incredibly helpful every single time. He doesn't just shrug and say, "Have you checked with the carrier?" Nope. Brad actually helps investigate, tracks things down, makes calls, and somehow manages to bring order to the chaos. At this point, I'm convinced he has a secret underground command center where he monitors Amazon, FedEx, UPS, and the U.S. Postal Service like some kind of package superhero. "We have a situation. The Chewy box is missing." Brad: "I'm on it." Seriously, Brad is friendly, responsive, patient, and genuinely cares about helping residents. Having someone in the leasing office who actually takes ownership of a problem makes a huge difference. Five stars for Brad. Would absolutely recommend him--especially if your package has entered witness protection.
