Lots of parking, very well organized and all the extras that make HG easy to shop: throw pillows arranged by color, good cards for $1.99 so you can stock up and be ready for all occasions and an aisle full of dish towels with every color/design you can dream of. Animal lover? Prefer plaid over stripes? Towels to proclaim your love of whatever holiday is coming up? There is a towel - and maybe a matching pot holder - for that! Living in the city, the stores around here don't have a lot of the larger furniture items but they had a few big sofas and chairs, tables for homes larger than 600sf (lucky suburbanites) and outdoor rugs larger than my first condo. They also do the same with raspberry, which looks good. -- Avocado Toast: Thin of slice but thick of creamy spread, with cherry tomato halves and a good drizzle of balsamic vinegar to give it a bit of a bruschetta touch. -- Egg sandwich: Fried egg with choice of vessel (I went English muffin), choice of protein (I went sausage patty), and choice of cheese (I went cheddar). The ladies behind the counter are mostly helpful, but there's one who's consistently cantankerous. More of a 3.5 rounded up to a 4 out of necessity than a 5-threatening 4, but I stand by my 4.

They don't sell matchbox cars or whatever the latest kid craze is, but instead ones that promote learning & education. They do sell simply fun toys as well, but they are much more creative than the typical ones you see in the regular stores. So anytime I buy toys for my cousins' children for the holidays or birthdays or whatever I always come here! Also they are a locally owned business so its nice to know your supporting a real person not some giant corporation.

Not only has Sweet Peas branched out into interior designing for customers, they've brought great brands to our small town. Since Sweet Peas is located in an old house, all of the downstairs is being utilized instead of just the front room like years ago; the owner has set up the store (which spans rooms and rooms) so that you find kitchen things in the "kitchen", bathroom things in the "bathroom", baby gifts in a "nursery", etc. Wonderful stuff, wonderful presentaton, very easy to get lost in (in the good sense of the word), but be prepared, as it does not come cheap.
