I came to visit family. The only hotels they have in town are outdated and drive up to your room types. I found this B&B amongst the hotel list and I'm grateful I did. It's an adorable Colonial style house that was built in 1898. It was Designed by George Washburn. You'll find a statue of him downtown. The original hardwood floors are still in immaculate shape and not a speck of dust seen. There are lots of stained glass and beveled windows.
They have 3 rooms upstairs on the second floor for rent. One has a private bath and the other two share a bath. It has a spacious shower with a raindrop faucet and optional hand held. They have goat milk shampoo, soap, and lotion. It was a nice touch. The family lives on the third floor.
The sponsors served breakfast at 9 am with scrambled eggs, banana nut muffin, bacon, fruit, option of yogurt, and coffee, water, and the option of juice. More than enough.
FYI. There is a house with a very similar appearance to the pictures one block before you get here, also on the corner. The B&B has a sign on the front porch. read more
