The staff is rude. The care is subpar at best. The doctors don't even like each other. I saw 2 doctors, one did surgery and then referred me to another doctor. The another said the first shouldn't have done surgery and didn't read my medical records coming into the appointment. Oh and that 3 hour wait time past my appointment! Just don't do go! read more

I had consult with Dr. Holt and he recommended surgery. I completed all the required new patient and medical history questionnaires. The day of surgery a very attentive hospital nurse decided to ask more questions of me while I was being prepped for surgery. During that discussion it was discovered the hospital did not have my allergy sheet nor did the doctor know of my allergies. Dr. Holt came to my surgery bay and spoke very rudely and blamed me. The hospital staff then blamed him. My surgery was canceled. It was discovered later that morning that his medical staff had not input my allergy sheet into my electronic medical record but it was clearly listed on my new patient paperwork. The implant that was ordered contained a material I am allergic to and had documented on my medical history sheet. Not once did Dr. Holt apologize or reach out to me. His office requires $900 payment for a computer program he uses during surgery. His office won't schedule surgery without you agreeing to pay this fee. His office would not refund the $900 fee for three weeks and in that period two different employees called to get me scheduled in at a later date (after "extensive allergy testing" ) and with a different doctor in practice. His negligence and unprofessionalism severely traumatized me. He has yet to even address my concerns or the matter but thought that I would allow him to operate on me after such callousness and carelessness. No way! read more

My second experience in as many months-- needed MRI both times and they don't submit proper paperwork. Unfortunately my insurance company only gives 14 days for additional submissions and they refuse to send in proper documentation. You will have to babysit them and then hope they'll take care of it. They still get paid either way. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that operates professionally. read more

My doctor, Dr. Bischoff, is great as for the rest it is severely lacking. The front desk staff are rude and Entitled. As i have seen this myself and on numerous occasions with other patients. The billing department is no better they don't have their act together either. I was not allowed to set up a payment plan after both hand surgeries but am still sending in payments every month on schedule. All the while I'm getting letters from them telling me they are sending me off to collections. But when i call billing and explain everything they tell me i am doing ok and to ignore the notice. If it wasn't for the doctor, who i am told is the best around at carpel tunnel i would have gone else where a long time ago. read more

Have waited as long as 2 hours and ended up having to leave. They expect us on time but don't afford us the same courtesy. How can we plan for coverage at work or childcare when they are so incredibly behind schedule - and they are behind in the morning so this is a common practice. Jury is still out on the clinical competence. Dr Chalkin is supposed to be quite good which is the only reason we are hanging in here. PS - as a follow-up to the above, we finally left at 10:00 after waiting more than an hour for our 8:45 appointment. It wasn't the longest we'd waited, which was 2 hours, but nonetheless unacceptable. Easily 50+ people in the waiting room. We're off to Tulsa Bone and Joint and have our fingers crossed. Got in on a canceled appointment for the next day with a hand specialist. We'll pray for a better experience...couldn't be worse, that's for sure. read more

I am sitting here right now for my mother's procedure. Let me tell you how it's gone and how it's going. Her initial appointment went okay. She has major knee pain from arthritis. We settled on trying stem cell first. We left that day and we're told someone would call her to discuss the process and amswer questions. No.one called. She had to call mutiple times to get her appointment scheduled. The day of the appointment, I took off work and we made the drive to arrive on time. We walked in to check in and they said "oh, did no one call you? We cant do your procedure today and need to reschedule". Yep. Wasted day. Someone did call her to set up another day. Thats right now. We arrived by 8 am as asked and they just now took her back. It's 11 45. Not one person checked on her the entire time we've been sitting here. She was freezing cold so i went to my car in the rain get the jacket and throw i keep in there. Getting back into her room was an act of Congress. When they finally just came for her, I mentioned that they should have some blackets or something for their patients... OMG. She was so rude and dismissive. This guy may be the best at what he does, but seriously, don't come here. Find the 3rd or 4th best and go there. Ridiculous. Everyone is rude. read more

This place is a total rip off they are committing fraud. They keep charging me and I only went to this office for one appointment. specifically the office of Dr. Yogesh Mittal. They have double billed me for an MRI in which I paid for when I got it done and they have additionally sent me a bill for the same MRI. I did not return for a second office visit because when I got the bill for the first office visit and realized they were charging $200 just to "inject" the $50 steroid shot. $200 to push the needle in. I refused to get any more services done with this fraudulent practice. This facility is full of thieves. They have charged my dad a higher copay then when asked for a refund, they sent us on a wild goose chase for 5 months. I called and requested a copy of my dads accounting ledger via email. It was never sent. I am still waiting for it. We were repeatedly told by Nancy that she had to pass the information regarding our request for a refund to Sabrina or that Sabrina would handle it and nothing happens. After telling Nancy that I was going to make a complaint with the insurance commission, she said that Sabrina would get back to me. Then I received a phone call from a woman named Monique who asked who my dad was and when he was last in the facility. She stated that she would send the ledger over and she has yet to do so as well. When I called the number she called me from, it was not even a business number. It was a cell phone. She did not answer. So long story short....BEWARE! THEY ARE PREYING ON THE ELDERLY. THEY ARE THIEVES AND ROBBERS! If you have an elderly family member, take them anywhere but here! read more

The doctor I see is Dr Holt who is a great person and Doctor. Where the downfall is here is the staff. They are rude and believe they are never wrong. They will blame everyone and everything for their mistakes. If you do make a complaint against the staff becomes hostile and very rude to the patient. read more

I enjoy the staff and the doctor. I love the super early appointments. However, the wait! It's unbelievably long! I have set 2 appointments for 730am or earlier and I wait an hour before I see the Dr. I feel that the wait is unacceptable. I will return because I feel I receive good care. But am skeptical whether I should bring this up to staff, being that it probably will not make a difference. read more

I saw nothing but one star reviews for this place on Yahoo. It made me feel a bit worried about going here, but I didn't experience any of the negative things people had written about on Yahoo reviews. I can't get anything FIXED here, because I have no insurance, and no income. That makes the $60 appointments pretty steep, but the nurse practitioner I see works with me to try to think up what meds will be most affordable. I appreciate that. They do occasionally test your urine to make sure you aren't taking any other drugs (street, or prescription), but I think that's to be expected. Until I can get health insurance to get surgery or injections, I will keep scrounging up the money I need for these appointments to make my back issues slightly more bearable. read more

Grossly incompetent. They never answer their phones, nor do they ever call you back. They continually messed up my billing statements and the wait times are atrocious on most days. After moving to a different state, I've been waiting 3 WEEKS for them to fax my medical records to another center. Every time I or my current orthopedic center call them, they come up with an excuse as to why they can't send my records. The most popular excuse is that their fax machine is broken, which has apparently been broken for 3+ weeks. The Tulsa Orthopedic Center, a large and very busy facility, chooses to be a chaotic mess for weeks rather then get their fax system running. I thought I was finally done with them after my knee surgery, but they are still somehow screwing me over two years later. I'd rather drive 4 hours to a different orthopedic center than ever work with them again. read more

My 17 year old son is seeing Dr. Holt and he has said Dr. Holt is his all time favorite doctor. He likes that he can talk one on one with him and doesn't feel rushed. Doesn't matter if we are the last appointment of the day you know he is there for you. Dr. Holt was our 2nd opinion and so glad we waited to see him. read more

The front office staff was great. The lady who took me back was cold as a fish. Dr. Palomino was extremely pompous and uncaring. The wait was less than 20 minutes. If you call to make an appointment ask for any Doctor except Palomino. read more

I have been a patient of Marco Criscione APRN-CNP at the Spine and Pain Management Center in Jenks for about six months now and my experience has been so incredibly positive. The receptionist is so friendly and the nurse that calls me back each time is so personable. However, Marco is the real reason I'm posting this review. He diagnosed a spinal abnormality that was missed over and over again that was contributing to my pain. Something I really appreciate about him is that he combines narcotic pain medication (if you need them) with other medications that are non addictive to keep your narcotic use as minimal as possible. read more

I was skeptical after reading some of these reviews. But I took my son here and our experience was very good. I thought the waiting area was nice and there were only about 5 other people waiting for various doctors. Our wait was 15 minutes and everyone I talked with was friendly and helpful. We saw Nicholas DeBolt, PA-C and he took his time and really listened to my son and tried to figure out a solution to everything we were concerned about. He explained things to us and gave us a good plan for my son's future care. I was very pleased with this visit and would recommend! read more

Frankly, I'm astonished at the poor reviews...perhaps there's a mix-up in which office/business. I've gone to several Docs and PAs at The Orthopaedic Center (Hillcrest/Tulsa) and had excellent service every time...no long waits, good response to billing questions and great medical care. When my family and I moved to Tulsa, a few years ago, my daughter broke her finger tip. The sports medicine doctor was awesome with her. He was not the one that she was supposed to be seeing, but he knew just how to keep her calm for them to exam it. Run away! Sailesh Arulkumar,MD is only interested in his routine and his agenda. Even if it doesn't work or improve the patient's pain. It is never about his ethic and compassionate care as he claims. He has a lack of bedside manner and NO ability to listen to the history of the patient. I was a patient here in the practice when my doctor got terminally sick. After several rotating doctors, he came in to take his place (SO FRUSTRATING). Dr. Sail' kept trying to refer me out every time I brought up my history of previous procedure's! He only wanted to give me injections in one spot in my back, but NOT where my main pain was coming from. Then he would argue with me when I told him my pain wasn't improving. He said my pain DIDNT EXSIST where I said it was. There was no reason for my pain. HE IS A JOKE! The Orthopedic Center...They are horrible too! the only thing that is good is Alex Lyle and that it is clean. The staff is RUDE! They are always messing up your appointments; confusing the times or pain management with injections. The wait time is loooong. They will tell you that you are next but when you get to your room, you are really the 4th in line. LIARS. This is 3 years of experience... read more

Have had to go here for both daughter's sports injuries. EACH time I've accompanied them, the waiting room is packed with over 100 people waiting (some having to stand). I've never waited for less than an hour. On our last visit, we checked in & nothing was said regarding them being behind. Twenty minutes later, a worker came out with a clipboard & yelled out how behind four doctors were currently running: 45 min, one hour, 1:45 hour & 2 hours. A collective groan from the waiting room with some leaving immediately in disgust. They'll never call you in advance to warn you of their pathetic time performance. They treat their customers as cattle & show no regard. When you see someone take issue with them, the response has always been "too bad--if you leave, you'll be charged as a no-show." Once we've gotten in to a treatment room, our average wait from there (to see the doc) is at least another 30 min. Their actions suggest they simply don't care. read more
